30/08/2025: Air-conditioned restaurant with a large dining room, a smaller one, and a terrace overlooking the street. The restaurant also offers set menus for both lunch and dinner, featuring Italian and Chinese cuisine. The quality isn't the best, but considering the low price, it's okay. I was a bit disappointed by the Chinese menu, which lacked flavor. The Italian menu was barely acceptable, because I ordered tortellini with cream and ham, and when they ran out, they served me really poor fettuccine.

25/08/2025: I forgot to take a picture of everything, I only took a picture of the first course, which was tagliatelle with cream, mushrooms, and bacon... well, the pasta was completely tasteless and the cream never arrived. Not that I had high expectations, obviously, given the location and the very low price... but neither did I expect the food to arrive tasteless, with missing ingredients, and the little that could be tasted on the palate was disgusting! I really don't think I'll go back. The price is okay, but the quality is very poor, or rather nonexistent, everything was bland, everything was terrible.

10/11/2025: The restaurant and pizzeria Il Gallo Verde in Gattico didn't impress me at all in terms of food. On the other hand, the pizza is decent. They should improve the food a little more with the cooking of the pasta, and it's too cooked for my taste. The staff is very kind and friendly, I don't argue about that. Next time I want to try the food again and I'll keep you updated. Enjoy your meal everyone.

28/10/2025: I decided to celebrate my birthday in this pizza restaurant (Saturday evening) The dishes from the kitchen are really excellent. But the pizza is really super. Thin and very easy to digest with great ingredients. Even though there were a lot of people, we were served quickly. Friendly and welcoming staff

29/11/2025: 50 euros for two for eating in a VERY COLD restaurant with skimpy portions that were barely warm, like the chilled red wine (sacrilege in the land of wine)!!! The menu is the classic one you find along the main roads where the workers stop at midday, only here you pay DOUBLE!! Never again. IT'S NOT FAST FOOD THAT "KILLS" RESTAURANTS, BUT THE MANAGERS WHO HAVE LOST THEIR SENSE OF REASON WITH AWFUL SERVICE AND DISGRACEFUL PRICES!!

21/09/2025: The place is beautiful and quaint, the dishes are refined and delicious, the only real flaw is that the service was extremely slow. We ordered the first course at 1:00 PM and ate two courses in an hour and a half. Finally, we ordered dessert and coffee, but after a 20-minute wait, we forgot about dessert and waited another 15 minutes for coffee. Two hours is definitely too long to eat two courses. This is why it's given a one-star review. Plus, you can't pay by credit card, only cash. I can't recommend the place.

15/08/2025: The single star is due to a single incident that I find particularly unpleasant. Even on the phone (for dinner), the lady specifically stated...cash payments ONLY... I don't think it's a coincidence, but rather a standard practice (confirmed by a friend who was there for lunch on a weekday). I don't think this is acceptable in 2025; the option of electronic payment must be guaranteed.

01/11/2025: Truly excellent pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven as it should be, with a light dough and good-quality ingredients. The flavor is authentic, and you can taste the care taken in the preparation. The only downside is a few minor service issues: a bit of a wait and a few lapses in attention, but nothing serious. The place is welcoming and clean, and the staff is friendly even at peak times. Overall, a good place for a good traditional pizza. We'll definitely return, hoping for a more organized service.

17/09/2025: Crazy prices (coffee 1.80, cappuccino 2.50), mediocre croissants that taste like nothing, and the staff is snobbish. If you come in dressed a certain way, they smile at you from head to toe; if you're not wearing any well-known brands, they'll say hello.

12/09/2025: It's a somewhat dated bar, at least inside. As for the outdoor seating, I'd say it's very nice. However, for an aperitivo, it's barely adequate, and while the place may look super tempting from the outside, I wasn't thrilled with it, as it clearly needs a bit of a makeover.

29/10/2025: We ordered two simple pizzas with quality ingredients. We weren't disappointed, and the price was reasonable. The wine was good and cost us less than half the price of another restaurant.

15/08/2025: Excellent pizzas prepared by Claudio, thin and digestible, cooked in a wood oven, the place is also nice especially in the summer with tables in the outdoor tent where there is also a beach volleyball court

26/10/2025: We went with local friends to eat panisha, which was truly delicious! The only shame was the wait between the appetizer and the main course was a bit long… a shame, because the porcini mushroom tart, panisha, and the dessert—I don't know what it's called, but a slice of tiramisu bread with cream and Nutella—were truly spectacular!

26/10/2025: Terrible customer service. The first course arrived (only one, and there were four of us). We ordered a burger, breaded fish, a swordfish dish, and a carbonara, which never arrived because they don't even know what dishes are on the menu. Instead of apologizing, they simply justified themselves and blamed us for what we'd ordered. We ate the cold dish they brought first so we could wait for the carbonara and eat together. But the dish never arrived either.

19/10/2025: Our recent stay at this campsite left us with mixed impressions. The location right on the lake was undeniably the highlight, offering beautiful views and easy access to the water—a perfect spot for relaxing by the shore. However, the surrounding area wasn't ideal, as there wasn't much of interest nearby. Unfortunately, the facilities felt tired and in my opinion are in need of an upgrade. On a positive note for families, the football pitch and the playground were excellent and proved very popular with our children. A major inconvenience arose at check-in: we were never reminded by the staff that we needed to pre-order sheets. Discovering this late was frustrating and something that could easily be avoided with a simple heads-up upon arrival. Finally, we felt the price point was quite expensive for what was offered, especially when comparing it to a higher-quality site we previously enjoyed at Lake Garda.

13/10/2025: The value for money is unbeatable. Everything was clean and functional. We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation.

16/11/2025: The hotel is in an excellent location, the staff are very helpful and friendly and it is good value for money.

05/12/2025: It would have been nice to be able to try it. In the morning they had told us that the kitchen service was until 2.00 pm and then until 1.30 pm. In the end, after an excursion, we arrived a little late at 1.30 pm, the kitchen was closed and they didn't even try to offer an alternative, not even a sandwich... wonderful desolate lands and hospitality could have made the difference.

21/11/2025: On the road from Novara to Mortara, you can find this restaurant in the municipality of Nibbiola. A set menu lunch is sufficient, worth trying once, and then returning... no.
