The staff was friendly and attentive, and the price was reasonable overall. However, the cleanliness of the restrooms could be improved. There is both outdoor seating and indoor seating. A simple restaurant with a stunning view of Lake Maggiore. The owners are friendly and eager to explain the menu. I highly recommend the spianata. It's worth it, we'll be back.

The place is very cute and well-decorated, creating a welcoming atmosphere. It's bright and features vintage touches. The menu is extensive, offering a variety of dishes and drinks. We stopped for an afternoon snack and had the hot chocolate with cream, which was very good. However, I'd unfortunately like to point out that the spoons were a bit dirty, including one that was presumably unwashed or carelessly washed, as it had red marks (probably lipstick). The prices are a bit high, but not outrageous. Overall, it's a good place for a lunch break, a snack, or an aperitif with friends.

22/11/2025: A small, informal yet quaint restaurant with simple yet delicious food and very helpful and friendly staff. I recommend making a reservation because there aren't many seats. Prices are fair. You feel right at home in a family atmosphere. A pleasant evening. Upon arrival, a complimentary glass of prosecco was much appreciated. Wood-fired pizza also available for takeout. They were super accommodating because I had a reservation for two on Saturday evening and couldn't make it because I wasn't feeling well. I asked if it was a problem if only my husband was going, and they accepted immediately (on a Saturday evening). I'd say this isn't for everyone.
15/11/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance and couldn't have asked for a better place. The welcome was exceptional; the service was excellent, with Sabrina making us feel right at home.
