08/05/2025: Just been today, Monday 21 April 2025, for a pleasant family lunch. One of the cleanest places I've been to. The glasses were very shiny and the cutlery brilliant. I come from a very clean family as does my beloved's and we immediately noticed this aspect of hygiene which is never taken for granted, especially in restaurant environments. Very attentive but at the same time friendly and nice staff. At the end of lunch the chef went around all the tables to make sure every single guest was satisfied. The food was truly excellent. One of the best Paella marinara ever eaten in Italy. Fresh, quality fish that was worth all the waiting to prepare. The fried fish was also very good and not greasy or heavy. Even the sparkling white wine went down well which is a pleasure. Lunch was offered to me by my dear in-laws but I looked at the prices and saw that they were more than reasonable especially in relation to the quality of the food. We will also be back to try the pizza!

21/04/2025: Appena stato oggi, lunedì 21 aprile 2025, in occasione di un piacevole pranzo di famiglia. Uno dei locali più puliti in cui sia stato. I bicchieri erano lucentissimi e le posate brillantissime. Vengo da una famiglia molto pulita così come quella della mia amata e abbiamo subito notato questo aspetto dell'igiene che non è mai dato per scontato, soprattutto begli ambienti della ristorazione. Personale molto attento ma allo stesso tempo cordiale e simpatico. A fine pranzo lo chef ha fatto il giro di tutti i tavoli per accertarsi della gratificazione di ogni singolo ospite. Il cibo era davvero eccellente. Una delle migliori Paella alla marinara mai mangiate in Italia. Pesce fresco e di qualità che ha valso tutta l'attesa nel prepararla. Anche la frittura di pesce era buonissima e non unta né pesante. Persino il vino bianco frizzantino andava giù che è un piacere. Il pranzo mi è stato offerto dai miei cari suoceri però ho sbirciato i prezzi e visto che erano più che ragionevoli specialmente in relazione alla qualità del cibo. Ci torneremo anche per provare la pizza!

18/06/2025: We ate here for a quick lunch. We had two piadinas (one with grilled vegetables and mozzarella and the other "vegetarian" with tomato, rocket and mozzarella). We spent €17 for two piadinas and a small bottle of water. They were both tasty, generously filled and well cooked until crispy. Quality ingredients and reasonable prices. Unfortunately there is no bathroom. However, they have various types of dough to choose from and a wide range of fillings. Today in particular, the piadinas with wholemeal dough, kamut or paprika were available. Highly recommended! We will gladly return.

19/06/2025: This restaurant is truly unique: it feels more like entering someone's home than a club. The peculiarity is that each object on display is for sale, with a tag indicating the price. The cuisine is predominantly vegetarian, prepared with fresh products from their garden, and is truly delicious. Another thing that struck me a lot is that all the wines on the menu are offered at cost price, because the owner, being a teetotaler, is not interested in making a margin on the wine. A super interesting and genuine experience!

17/05/2025: Had lunch today at Osteria del Maniero. A very positive experience. A refined and elegant environment, a professional welcome. A special mention for Cristina, friendly, smiling and communicative. Excellent dishes, prepared by Stefano with creativity and very tasty. We will definitely be back. Daniele and Claudio

04/05/2025: I was welcomed directly by the chef and sommelier with a welcome glass and in the short conversation I immediately felt at ease and I understood that I had chosen a restaurant that knows the ingredients deeply. The venue is a manor house (castle) renovated with head and preserving the best preserved original parts. Friendly and present staff. The meat dishes for my son and fish for me with perfect combinations suggested by the sommelier, have a perfect balance that recall Ferran Adrià's careful study of combinations without ever being cloying like the hand of Alfredo Russo, that enveloping softness and the explosion of taste. I advise all customers to choose starter, first course, second course, cheese and/or dessert according to their personal tastes, you will be able to leave pleasantly satisfied. I gave myself a wonderful birthday present in the company of my son. I don't want to say anything about the dishes, it's nice to marvel.

31/05/2025: Sono stato in questo ristorante un giovedì sera a cena. È stata un'esperienza fantastica. Fin dal primo boccone si capisce la ricercatezza e la profondità di sapore dei piatti dello chef. Ho optato per ordinare 3 piatti fuori menù che sono stati uno meglio dell'altro in termini di sapore e presentazione. Servizio eccelso, cortesia e professionalità. Ci tornerò molto volentieri.

31/05/2025: Seconda volta in questo ristorante, segno che la prima era stata una buona esperienza. Anche questa seconda è andata bene. Anzi, molto bene. Servizio cordiale e premuroso. Amouse bouche delizioso e pane, credo, fatto in casa (a nostro avviso sul pane avremmo sperato meglio). Abbiamo optato per due portate a testa. Le nostre scelte sono cadute su piatti dai sapori decisi (spiedino di lingua e anguilla, paccheri cacio&pepe gratinati con julienne di asparagi, crocchette di baccalà e filetto di branzino su bisque di crostacei) che solo a scriverne mi stimolano la salivazione. Tempi di attesa perfetti e, dal mio punto di vista, fondamentali per la buona riuscita di un pranzo o una cena. Vini in carta ottimi. Torneremo a Novara per una passeggiata in centro o una salita alla guglia di San Gaudenzio ma solo dopo aver prenotato un’altra volta in questo ristorante. Bravi.

31/05/2025: Super tasty wines at very democratic prices, nice terrace. Patron gives good explanation, mainly in Italian, which does provide an authentic atmosphere. Unfortunately we discovered the bar too late so we could only go twice. If we come in the area again we will definitely go back! Really recommended!

13/04/2025: On the road when I return to Vigevano after a weekend in the mountains. Pizzeria in the minimal sense of the term: the pizzas are good, there are no alternatives. Serious and professional owners, bordering on surly (sometimes beyond).

20/06/2025: Since my son discovered the mini apricot muffins we can't do without this place. Undoubtedly, even if they didn't exist, it would still be one of the few truly pleasant places in Novara. Good products, well-made coffee, friendly service and a clean place. Little touches that make you want to come back.

28/05/2025: Very small but tidy and clean environment. Average coffee. Unfortunately, a discussion with the owner/barista as useless as futile (in my opinion obviously) regarding "how to ask for cold milk for coffee" (sic) and the repeated use of the term "enough" on my part to put an end to the aforementioned controversy, almost an altercation I could say made the stop particularly unpleasant. I hope that such aggression, never encountered in any place by the staff to whom I addressed with terms such as good morning/please/etc... was due to temporary problems and nothing else which, if it were, finds my full understanding. With wishes of economic success in equal measure to courtesy.

01/05/2025: Today I had lunch with my husband in this welcoming and quiet place. I had a pleasant surprise because I discovered that Giada, who runs the place, was my child in nursery school. And the best part is that after so many years he recognized me!! It really put me in a good mood and I was happy to see that little girl transformed into a nice, affable and kind young woman. We ate a starter, first course and dessert: all delicious. The price was average and adequate for what we ate. I recommend it to everyone!!

25/05/2025: Vera eccellenza per un'ottima pizza! Encomiabile impegno nella ricerca di farine naturali di qualità e nello sviluppo delle tecniche di lievitazione/cottura (che alla fine fanno la differenza in tema di sapore e digeribilità). Qui si può ritrovare il significato del termine 'nutrizione' come insieme di qualità e di idee per l'alimentazione dell'uomo. In uno slogan: Nutrizione, Eccellenza, Qualità. La pizza è davvero ottima e ben digeribile (grazie alle farine di qualità, lievitazione naturale ed ottima cottura in forno a legna) Tutti gli ingredienti sono accuratemente selezionati per valorizzare le eccellenze del territorio. 05/05/2025: Non è la prima volta che mi reco in questo ristorante e devo dire che ho sempre trovato un alto livello di materie prime e cura del cliente, elementi che devono sempre coesistere: non basta mangiare solo bene, non basta avere solo un servizio gentile e preciso. E' chiaro che il titolare, che osserva dal bancone come un capitano la sua truppa, riesce a coordinare bene il locale e tenere il livello di gestione costante. P.S Segnalo una grande sensibilità verso le intolleranze e una grande attenzione ai piatti proposti, altro aspetto non sempre scontato, anzi spesso glissato palesemente da ristoratori e camerieri del tutto ignari della reale problematica degli allergeni nel cibo!

22/02/2025: Crazy food to say the least... having gluten intolerances, I managed to eat... pizzas... stuffed focaccias and... gnocchi with exceptional sauces based on seasonality. Absolutely worth trying!!!! 💯

07/06/2025: Very kind staff, paella REALLY GOOD (said by someone who often visits Spain!).. the kit in the women's bathroom (with sanitary towels) was super appreciated. The owner was nice, welcoming and kind. We will definitely be back!!!
