24/09/2025: I was here on duty for the European cycling race. Very nice, all in wood. I'm so grateful to the staff for their support throughout the day, as well as to the regulars, who were fantastic.

05/09/2025: A very nice welcoming place that gives character to our city given that it is located near the motorway toll booth. Access from the municipality should be a little more looked after. The sidewalk is completely devastated, full of potholes, dangerous for everyone. Inaccessible in a wheelchair unless with assistance. What a shame.

19/10/2025: Today in this hotel/restaurant I had lunch in the company of childhood friends and locals. (It had been a few years since we met). Excellent appetizers, risotto with mushrooms, roast with potatoes (excellent), grilled beef steak with golden fennel and finally fruit tart. All very good. The staff was always present, kind and helpful.

19/10/2025: Excellent restaurant. I went for lunch to celebrate the Ginestra villagers. The appetizers and first courses were excellent, the mushroom risotto was excellent, the grilled fillet of oregano was delicious, and the cake was also excellent. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.

17/09/2025: Big assortment and small queues to the cash desks.The only disadvantage is the guy from security staff who ordered to put my small 20l backpack into the locker, however I disagreed becasue I had the wallet and all my docs inside. Worth to visit before noon.

18/09/2025: We've been there several times for lunch. The food is delicious, the service is quick, and the price is excellent: €12 all-inclusive. We liked the pizzas a little less. We'll be back for lunch.

16/11/2025: Today, four of us went to this place for a white truffle lunch. We had truffle eggs, truffle potatoes, and truffle plin pasta, as well as house appetizers. Everything was excellent, top-quality, and generously grated with truffle, without skimping. The desserts were delicious, and what can I say about the staff...kind and always smiling!!!! We'll definitely be back again, even for a simpler lunch. The location is simple but very welcoming. Cristina

05/10/2025: Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review for this place. My wife and I showed up in our bike gear (MTB) after a long ride, ready to sit down for lunch (around 1:30 PM). We didn't plan on staying long. A platter of appetizers, maybe a first course, drinks, coffee, and then we were ready to head back to finish the tour... we only had a few kilometers to the car. But it was lunchtime, and the atmosphere was nice and promising... The village of Maggiora was an ideal place to stop. Even though there were several free tables outside, and people were already being served outside, I was told they didn't have time to serve me because they had to prioritize a confirmation banquet. I wasn't even given time to explain my needs: I was coldly dismissed, without being listened to or offered any kind of attention. The reason seemed to me to be anything but related to the actual influx of customers, but rather to my clothing and my situation (a passing biker). An unwelcoming and discriminatory response that left me with a very disappointing impression. A restaurant should value its customers for their respect and politeness, not their attire. I will not return, nor will I recommend it to other cyclists or travelers. So, a warning to all bikers who frequent the beautiful Monte Fenera area from Maggiora and the surrounding area: DO NOT STOP AT THIS PLACE AS IT IS NOT BIKER FRIENDLY.

25/09/2025: We celebrated our wedding reception here. The staff is super friendly, the service is great, and the location is fantastic because you can party until late. The view of Villa Crespi was also lovely, and they make great cocktails! A really nice place for a drink.

22/09/2025: Had a wedding party there and staff was super helpfull and friendly. They checked on us in the private room regularly, and went in to clean up empty glasses or refill drinks for self service. Cocktails could be ordered at the bar and they where great!

26/11/2025: It's a nice place with a splendid view of Lake Orta. The food is good, the staff is friendly, and the prices are fair.

23/11/2025: The aperitivo was very meager, consisting only of about 3-4 squares of reheated, half-dry pizza/focaccia per person. No plates, or even napkins, except for the ones in the dispenser. The service was surly and listless. We ordered a toasted sandwich to make up for the shortage, which was also dry and very sad. It's a shame, because the beautiful location and excellent view raise expectations!

05/10/2025: An elegant restaurant with friendly staff and a very attractive location. Excellent cuisine and service, with carefully prepared and beautifully presented seasonal dishes. A well-selected wine list features a strong focus on local wines, particularly from the Novara hills.

15/09/2025: The place is clean and everything is in order. The owners and the staff are always kind and smiling. I recommend it.

13/11/2025: On Saturday evening, I called at 7:50 PM to order eight pizzas, and was given 8:50 PM as the pickup time. At 8:45 PM, I showed up, paid, and waited until 9:20 PM to pick up my order, but it's Saturday, and I realized... When I got home, I noticed three pizzas were completely charred underneath, and one prosciutto pizza was missing the ham. I'd already reported the charred state of the product, and was promptly compensated with another batch and numerous apologies. However, it seems to me that the care and punctuality have gradually disappeared. Now, I understand the large turnout on Saturdays, but that can't be an excuse for a 30-minute delay or for a product that ends up in the organic bin, especially given the price. If you can't keep to the time/quality requirements, I think it's definitely more professional to avoid taking overorders. I strongly recommend carefully rereading the guidelines.

22/10/2025: Bad experience, today work break, I ordered a pizza and waited about 40 minutes but what left me most perplexed was the additional cost of one euro when requesting the invoice and justified as an appetizer.
