09/07/2025: A nice place to spend an evening with friends: there are board games, pool, foosball, darts, etc. The place is old and poorly maintained, with limited parking and poorly organized spaces. The food is plentiful and tasty. Except for the desserts, which aren't very good. The service is calm and polite, very down-to-earth but pleasant. The price is fair.

28/06/2025: It had been a few years since I set foot in Soliva, so much so that I thought it was closed. I was invited for a birthday party and I must say that I found the location slightly different (for the better) and I was surprised by the environment, nice, but perhaps a little too gloomy, considering that now it is seen more as a restaurant or ristopub. The food was appreciated, fast and precise with the orders. The menu perhaps a little sparse and without a possible variant for those who need, due to allergies or intolerances to have a different choice. However... It is worth another visit.

23/08/2025: Sharing time and food at this place is a pleasure. A fun way to spend a lovely evening with friends and furry friends (ours 🐩). Tasty, home-cooked dishes.

06/08/2025: We were there for my mother's birthday, we had a great time! We were welcomed with friendship! The owner is extremely friendly and respectful of the customers! Very cheerful place where fried dumplings reign supreme! 😁 Clean and hygienically perfect place! Clean and functional bathrooms! Very good food! Fried dumplings! Cured meats served on cutting boards! Very good and unique first courses on request! Drinks of all kinds and at will! I read in reviews previous to mine that people complain about the lack of cutlery! ... and a hot table... very strange... however, there is an organ in us called "TONGUES!" We speak! and the cutlery will surely arrive! As long as they are not already there! Very large and free parking outside the place! For those who want to have fun and at the same time relax, escape from the day gone by, this is just the right place! Very good and plentiful aperitifs like those in the restaurant! I will definitely be back! We had a great time! A special compliment to the staff! Very executive and available to the customer!

28/07/2025: I stopped here on Saturday for an aperitivo, and I have to say we had a great time. The cocktails were very good, reasonably priced, and had a lake view. I'll be back again when I visit Arona again.

20/06/2025: Since my son discovered the mini apricot muffins we can't do without this place. Undoubtedly, even if they didn't exist, it would still be one of the few truly pleasant places in Novara. Good products, well-made coffee, friendly service and a clean place. Little touches that make you want to come back.

28/05/2025: Very small but tidy and clean environment. Average coffee. Unfortunately, a discussion with the owner/barista as useless as futile (in my opinion obviously) regarding "how to ask for cold milk for coffee" (sic) and the repeated use of the term "enough" on my part to put an end to the aforementioned controversy, almost an altercation I could say made the stop particularly unpleasant. I hope that such aggression, never encountered in any place by the staff to whom I addressed with terms such as good morning/please/etc... was due to temporary problems and nothing else which, if it were, finds my full understanding. With wishes of economic success in equal measure to courtesy.

08/06/2025: When I pass by and it's not open I feel like crying!!! Wherever we go on a trip, a stop on the way back is a must for us, even before dinner! That says it all... Excellent creamy flavors without ice, and also unusual. Excellent price and generous portions. We went back on 6-6-25... Nutella, figs and walnuts, cremino, pistachio.... oh my goodness, it makes you want to make the whole dinner with it!

15/06/2025: Visiting here with Italian friends, very spacious restaurant, large menu choice of meat and fish, pasta or antipasti, the prices are very democratic, cheap I would say, and what we ordered was very tasty, the staff was also very friendly.

04/08/2025: The only remarkable thing was the view. We arrived without a reservation, and the waitress prepared a table for us. Twenty minutes later, the plate of one of the guests arrived, eating alone. Several tables around us were also ordering their meals; the delay was clearly widespread. The pizzas arrived an hour later without further explanation. The tomato sauce was clearly industrially produced, and the mushrooms, ham, and other ingredients weren't fresh. It was low-end food at a premium price. Disappointing.

03/08/2025: The restaurant is very beautiful, well located. The food is quality and the staff helpful. The only downside is that they charge €3 for the cover charge without it being mentioned anywhere as required by law! It's a way of forcing a tip that will ultimately be collected by the owner and not redistributed to the staff!

07/08/2025: Friendly staff We didn't like the restaurant. The gnocchi were cold and mushy; we should have asked for them to remake them. The second course wasn't to our taste. We appreciated the fact that they didn't charge us for the first course, though.

26/07/2025: Excellent hospitality from all the staff, very comfortable bed, exceptional breakfast and dinner!!! Highly recommended

30/07/2025: I frequented the venue in the summer: it's a very nice venue, and you can sit both inside and out; the aperitif is plentiful and high-quality. There are some areas dedicated to Latin American music and others for disco. In the winter, unfortunately, the Latin American room is very small.

29/06/2025: We're not there!!! Evening with friends. We wait exactly an hour for drinks and an hour and a half for pizzas. At the table next to ours they were celebrating a birthday and thought they were alone because they were screaming so much that we couldn't talk. I ask the waitress to take a picture of us and she tells me she doesn't have time.... I don't know 🙄. Infernal heat and slow service. I didn't like it, I'm sorry.

13/07/2025: Dopo aver fatto il giro all'isola di S.Giulio ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante che avevamo gia prenotato e si trova proprio sulla piazza di Orta; eravamo insieme ai nostri parenti venuti dall'Ecuador e abbiamo pranzato con bombom croccante, spaghetto Giacomo, tagliata di carne, insalata di polpo, spongecake ai lamponi, acqua e vino rosato; tutto ottimo e abbondante; la cameriera Federica è stata gentilissima anche nella spiegazione dei piatti; servizio rapido; buon rapporto qualità/prezzo; consigliatissimo !!!

30/06/2025: Posto unico, di grandi sapori e alta qualità. Consigliatissimo il vitello tonnato, lo spaghetto con datterino e stracciatella, da provare i numerosi antipasti e taglieri squisiti. Personale gentilissimo (Federica specialmente)

21/07/2025: Abbiamo deciso di recarci in questo Ristorante per una sensazione fortemente positiva mentre eravamo alla ricerca di qualcosa di non comune. E ci siamo trovati benissimo. Ed ogni sorriso, ciascuna nostra parola di approvazione era frutto spontaneo di ogni emozione provata. A partire dalla accoglienza della Padrona di casa Elena, radiosa e cortese, lo staff di sala, dalla location da favola e per ultimo, ma non di importanza, della passione per la cucina con alta creatività e capacità dimostrate dallo chef Simone ad ogni portata. Ciò che più mi ha colpito è avere assaporato una pietanza ancor prima che con il gusto, con il senso dell'olfatto. È il top. Tanto che per il nostro Anniversario ci torneremo e auspichiamo di trovare anche una collocazione presso il loro Hotel. Claudia e Loris

19/07/2025: Service to be reviewed, I booked a table for 14 people for my birthday party, I was the birthday boy and was served last when almost everyone had finished eating, when the cake arrived the waitress told me to cut it for me (which has never happened in other places) and to open a bottle of prosecco for me, all this in a half-empty place, the place is well-kept, good food, pizzas a little too expensive
