01/03/2025: Ristorante ‘cheap’ dell’Hotel Villaggio Narrante che fa riferimento allo chef stellato Ugo Alciati. Semplicemente vergognoso, una mensa aziendale. Incomprensibile come uno chef di questo rango possa prestare il proprio brand a un ristorante cosi. Ravioli del plin non male ma stracotti, tagliatella al ragù di salsiccia impresentabili, un piatto che davvero nemmeno alla mensa della scuola (non erano tagliatelle ma tagliolini). Ribs con si è no 70g di carne. Davvero senza senso. Troppa discrepanza tra il vicino stellato da Guido e questo ristorante di basso basso livello. Peccato perché il posto ha un suo perché,i salumi e il vino sono di livello, il resto una presa in giro. Un consiglio: aumentate di 10€ ogni piatto e fornite un prodotto che sia all’altezza della nomea dello chef e del contesto.

06/01/2025: I plin più buoni mai mangiati. Pieni , saporiti, con un risotto al Marsala commovente. Siamo stati per due pranzi, servizio celere , molto gentile .

16/02/2025: Noi abbiamo soggiornato in questo b&b e non abbiamo mangiato, fortunatamente! Colazione "stitica" a dir poco. Servita tipo "al bar" con il.peggio del peggio che ci possa essere. Brioches congelate servite in numero contato, una per uno, ho chiesto altri dolcetti ci hanno portato 3 tristissimi tipi di biscotti che per assaggiarli abbiamo dovuto dividere a metà. Un pò tirchio pochi simpatici.

16/03/2025: Ah, Osteria Arborina, the bistro! A culinary experience that the 18 of us will hardly forget... even if we would love to do it. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with hospitality from times gone by: no menu, no choice, just a very clear diktat - "We'll do it, trust me." And we, poor naive people, trusted. The appetizers? Four unrepeatable delights: trout with sour cream (taste of freshly defrosted fish), raw meat (suitable quantity for a canary on a diet), veal with tuna sauce (but they will have finished the tuna sauce before reaching our plate) and a raw Russian salad which, let's face it, seemed like a tribute to the experimental cuisine... of the nursery. The first ones? A riot of creativity: risotto with pea cream that seemed to be the result of an evening of burnt pots, tagliolini with ragù with ragù in the "where has he hidden?" version, and plins immersed in a sea of ​​butter - a joy for those who love high cholesterol. All in such generous portions that we had to calibrate each spoon with surgical precision so as not to start a fight at the table. The second? Ah, how naive to think that there could be! The dessert, chosen at our own risk, saw some of us move straight to the coffee, perhaps in the hope that at least that wouldn't be another disappointment. Drinks chapter: three bottles of wine with an exorbitant value (but at least the wine is saved) and 54 euros of "mayor's water", which, translated, means "tap water with a surcharge for presumption". All served in an environment with rustic charm: a beautiful view of the Langhe which we would also have been able to appreciate if we hadn't been under a pergola with fogged windows and condensation which gave us a multi-sensory experience of drops in the glasses and on the plates. The cold, then, an unexpected plus: dining with a jacket on is priceless... ah no, it is: 77 euros each. In conclusion, if you want a gourmet experience in which you spend a lot to eat little and badly, with the thrill of a ceiling dripping on your head, Arborina is the place for you. Alternatively, a trip to the bowling club would guarantee you better meals, decent portions and a bill that won't make you regret every single euro spent. Final rating: ⭐ (for the view, but only if it doesn't rain inside).

12/03/2025: La Trattoria del Commercio is a memorable place. We are not talking about starred restaurants, but about the ancient inns of the past. Fresh, simple, traditional dishes, made with local raw materials, You will find veal with tuna sauce, raw meat, delicious local salami, and don't miss the snails if you like them: you will never find them as good as these again. And the Castelmagno gnocchi? Amazing. The second courses are also excellent, if you can get there. Homemade desserts: I recommend the bunet. Spending for two without wine: €56. But please always book, the place is small, they can't work miracles. But it is absolutely worth trying if you love traditional cuisine and slightly retro (but clean and tidy) environments. It is one of my favorite places.

22/03/2025: I came several times with my friends, great bar, wonderful and friendly service. Once there was a misunderstanding about an order but it was promptly brought back without increasing the price and without making any fuss. Adequate prices and a good knowledge of aperitif preparations. I strongly recommend it both for those who like to have an aperitif and for a simple coffee with friends.

04/02/2025: E’ stata una vera scoperta durante la nostra visita a Limone Piemonte. Questo locale, più che un semplice agriturismo, è una splendida baita curata nei minimi dettagli, con un'atmosfera calda e accogliente che ti fa sentire subito a casa. Ciò che colpisce immediatamente sono le ampie vetrate che offrono una vista spettacolare sulle montagne circostanti. Abbiamo mangiato davvero molto bene. Io ho particolarmente apprezzato il filetto con salsa agrifoglio, una vera delizia per il palato. La carne era tenera e saporita, e la salsa si sposava perfettamente con il piatto. Ma anche gli altri piatti che abbiamo assaggiato erano deliziosi, con sapori autentici e genuini che esaltano i prodotti del territorio. Il personale è stato molto gentile e disponibile, contribuendo a rendere la nostra esperienza ancora più piacevole. Consiglio vivamente l'Agriturismo Agrifoglio a chi cerca un luogo speciale dove mangiare bene, godere di un panorama mozzafiato e vivere un'esperienza autentica in montagna. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

06/01/2025: Abbiamo preso un menù da degustazione. Personalmente ho fatto fatica ad arrivare al dolce. Porzioni generose e cibo di ottima qualità. Il posto è veramente incantevole, l' agriturismo presenta delle vetrate importanti che affacciano sui monti vicini. Tutto molto curato, lo staff è molto cordiale e attento alle esigenze. Noi per due menù che comprende coperto, acqua caffè e dolce abbiamo speso 38 euro a testa. Consigliatissimo

23/01/2025: I ate there several times for lunch....really good. It feels like home. The only disappointment: I would put a toilet paper roll holder in the bathroom since many customers often get the roll in their hands and often wet it or drop it on the floor... it's not very hygienic. And maybe even paper to dry your hands...just as a tip. Other than that it's 5 stars....

25/01/2025: Traveling in Italy for the Christmas holidays from Canada , we were visiting the " Roero" and decided to have our Christmas lunch at this restaurant. They accomodate us with a last minute reservation, table for 2. The restaurant was fully booked and only thing I can say is that everything was amazing , service , atmosphere and food ! Every single dish was just superb , amazing was one of our best experiences..full of taste and creativity , in our 3 weeks trip in Italy we visited restaurants every single lunch and dinner but Marcelin will be always on our heart ❤️ Great Job Angelo, Manuela , Thomas and all the Marcelin staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
