24/10/2025: Even though I'm not vegan, I still had a great time at this place. The ingredients are top-quality and the dishes are meticulously researched. They made a delicious birthday cake for my uncle, who is vegan. I'll definitely be back, especially since they regularly host very interesting themed evenings!

07/09/2025: Yesterday I came here for lunch, brought by my grandchildren, Laura and Massimo, who have lived in Villanova Mondovì for several years. I was blown away by the delicious food I chose, all of which were attractive and of the highest quality. The ingredients are vegan, grown in the owners' garden. The entire menu embodies the concept of healthy, vibrant cuisine, cooked with love and yet focused on delighting the palate, with original and creative pairings. While it goes far beyond the great Piedmontese tradition, it is somehow present in the structure of the menu, built on the classic sequence of appetizers, first courses, second courses, and dessert. The atmosphere is appropriately rustic, yet spacious and quiet, encouraging conversation, one of the true pleasures of dining. Over time, I'm sure the exterior will also improve, a modest square serving as a large parking lot next to the appropriate brick church. The spirit of Gozzano hovers and breathes in the words of the talented chef, reserved yet open to sharing her deeply desired personal and professional journey. 22/07/2025: In the center of town... close to everything... top-notch hotel: cleanliness, service, and professionalism are excellent. As for the restaurant, it's truly excellent... from the pizza to the grilled meats, everything cooked in a wood-fired oven. Their specialty, the ula al furn, is a must-try, made the way it used to be... excellent value for money... in short, if you're in the area, don't hesitate to stop by.

10/11/2025: In the center of Alba, a charming place that combines Cilento and Piedmontese food and wine experiences. Everything is excellent, but special mention goes to the cavatielli with tomato sauce and ricotta cheese, the parmigiana, and the plum tart. Excellent hospitality and fair prices. Maria Giovanna

08/09/2025: A magnificent place, although a little difficult to find (we didn't see a sign indicating the restaurant!). We were very well received (we had reservations), despite a rather large number of guests and a significant delay! The dishes were excellent (although the appetizer was a bit short on quantity!) The bill wasn't that high for a full meal + aperitif + coffee! A wonderful experience.

28/09/2025: We booked a room about six weeks in advance and were asked to pay a €50 deposit. Within a week we had to cancel this reservation, along with several others. Unlike all the other Refugios and Locandas, who refunded our deposits without hesitation, this place refused to return the €50. This attitude does not reflect the spirit of Valle Maira and is, frankly, an embarrassment for the region. It makes one wonder whether the owner truly has roots in this beautiful valley. If possible, avoid staying here — they do not represent the hospitality this area is known for.

28/08/2025: The staff were helpful, extremely kind, and friendly. Super clean! Excellent cuisine, combining authentic local products with the chef's creativity! Spectacular location for the views and a strategic location for excursions, both by car and especially on foot... I highly recommend it!

14/11/2025: The menu was just right and perfectly suited to this early November season. On this white truffle festival weekend, it would have been impolite not to enjoy them, whether with a beef carpaccio or some ravioli. The wine list was extensive and catered for all budgets. The service was a notch below what I had experienced in May of this year. The food, the wine, and the atmosphere more than made up for it. Note that you dine in the cellar...claustrophobes beware. 22/09/2025: It's an excellent restaurant that also offers a couple of guest rooms. Located in a historic building in the hamlet of Frassino, it serves primarily traditional dishes from the Varaita Valley, using local ingredients. The food is truly high-quality without being expensive. I would increase the portions of the first courses, but that's just my personal opinion. The comfort of the hotel section is affected by the structural constraints inherent in a historic building, which nevertheless retains its character. The breakfast is truly excellent, plentiful and made with quality ingredients.

14/09/2025: Excellent food and a very pleasant atmosphere. I wasn't happy with the portions, which were far too small, especially the meat dishes, which should curb your cravings for something savory while you wait for dessert... luckily, the bonèt that ended the meal was simply spectacular! Service was a bit slow, so take your time.
