17/11/2025: We went for lunch with a craving for truffles and found it very good, authentic and without frills. The owner was attentive and friendly. The food was simple and well-made, perhaps a little on the small side.

15/11/2025: We arrived at this restaurant on our way from Milan. The occasion: a truffle-themed lunch out of town. A wonderful day spent enjoying excellent traditional Piedmontese recipes, enriched with exquisite flavors.

22/05/2025: Truly kind and hospitable people, I have a wonderful memory of 2021. After a night guarding a construction site, I kindly asked if I could use their bathroom and they granted it to me. I hope to still be able to stop by their place, unfortunately I live near Bergamo. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

07/07/2025: Really delicious ice cream! I had Kroek Cream and Raspberry, a super perfect combination. The Kroek Cream is a delicious cream with crunchy pieces of irresistible biscuit inside. The raspberry is fresh, fruity and has a full and natural flavor. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail. Friendly staff and well-kept place. I will definitely be back to try other flavors!

13/09/2025: I stayed at this property for an afternoon at the spa. What can I say? It was immaculately maintained and incredibly relaxing. Truly a gem! The outdoor pool (not heated, but even today, with the overcast sky, it was lovely) has a spectacular view of the Monferrato hills. End the day with a lovely aperitif in the garden. Everything was perfect!

11/09/2025: In general it is a nice hotel with a great restaurant. But there is still room for improvement. The location is a bit off from the hotspots but super quiet with a nice view, garden and architecture. The pool area is nice but one can tell that the adjacent rooms are to be modernized when compared to the stylish hotel and restaurant itself. The wine list is impressive and you should have ld definitely try their own wines. We grabbed a few for our collection at home. The staff is nice, the service super attentive and welcoming. They try to fix everything thar might arise. We stayed a week and enjoyed it a lot. It is also a great place for trips to Asti, Novara, Torino and more. The restaurant has a great quality of products and is super nice interior-wise. The rooms are a bit small, but they have almost everything you need. But there are a few things that we missed or did not like that much. For starters, they had shampoo etc. but no conditioner. That would be an easy win. The air conditioning is a bit weird as you cannot really get below 21 degrees celcius and it seemed to reset to some sort of default settings. This lead to a rather warm climate. Moreover, our air conditioning was pointed towards the bed so we felt the air all the time in bed. Not the ideal setup in my opinion. Another thing we noticed was that the pillows were not ideal. You could put two on top of each other, which would make them to high or only use one which was too low. I know that this is personal preference, but compared to other hotel beds this felt like a miss. On thing we noticed rather late was that our mosquito net at the window was broken at the bottom, which caused an influx of insects unfortunately. And our shower glass wall had a little defect - probably some guest smashed it against a wall or shower hose as the handling requires a bit of "training". The gym is also nice even though finding it wasn't that obvious - maybe set up some signage? And a desinfactant spray or tissue was missing plus a proper indoor bike. The bar has a lot of potential, which I hope the owners see and will lake use of soon. The Internet needs some improvement, but it was working most of the time. The spa is small but nice, but I can imagine that in bad weather or winter the space light be too small for all hotel guest plus day spa guests. But we enjoyed the stay, the warmth and professionalism and if we ever come. Back to the region we will for sure drop in and say hi.

23/11/2025: Truly a fantastic osteria! The food was excellent, carefully prepared dishes with authentic flavors that you can taste right away. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, perfect for a quiet dinner. A special thanks to the gentleman who served us: extremely kind, attentive, and truly hospitable… he makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended!!!

13/10/2025: We were there last Sunday evening. First of all, thank you for accepting our reservation and compliments to the kitchen for taking the time to cater to the two of us. Simple and plentiful dishes with excellent quality/price ratio. Highly recommended!! 👍We'll be back!

09/11/2025: In the center of town, inside the castle walls, I believe, there's this beautiful restaurant spread over several floors. It offers mainly traditional Piedmontese cuisine, with a limited selection, but I fully agree with their approach to quality. Everything tastes good, nothing to complain about. I must compliment the excellent rabbit in Arneis, a meat that requires considerable culinary skill. It's truly a wonderful dish, and you can tell the kitchen is run by experienced, elderly women. If I ever get the chance, I'd definitely stop by again. The price is average for the location. Perhaps we forget, but here we are in one of the most enchanting places in the world.

22/09/2025: On the evening of Sunday, September 20th, I needed dinner, and quickly. Excellent warm appetizers (pepper flan, in bagna cauda, ​​exceptional). Delicious peaches with amaretto. Excellent Grignolino. Friendly staff. Very welcoming and clean place. 5/5

14/11/2025: Stopped by chance. Porchetta and fennel for 2 1 bottle of water Half a bottle of wine €30. At least we'd eaten well. Never again

25/10/2025: The entrance is unassuming, but understandable given its agriturismo status. The restaurant is spacious and beautifully appointed, offering an excellent view of the Asti and Cuneo plains. The service is attentive and courteous, and the dishes are simple yet carefully prepared and authentic. Prices are reasonable. It's a shame there's no set menu. It's worth a visit and a return visit in the summer, as it features a beautiful pool and a terrace that's enviable for its views. A special mention goes to the limited, but understandable, selection of wines produced by the property. Truly excellent.

25/07/2025: A 550 metri di altitudine all’inizio del Monferrato Astigiano. Bella struttura con ampia terrazza coperta dotata di vista panoramica sulla pianura. Pranzo domenicale piuttosto affollato e quindi rumoroso (feste di laurea) con qualche difficoltà a conversare. Il menu la domenica è fisso con piatti nel solco della cucina piemontese. Ottime le materie prime, su tutto la battuta, veramente deliziosa. Tutto buono, senza piatti strabilianti. Unica nota stonata a mio avviso l’unico secondo, un polpettone con patate piuttosto insignificante. L’Agriturismo dispone di una interessante cantina con produzione di vini locali. Servizio giovane, efficiente e cortese nonostante il centinaio di coperti. Sempre offerto il bis, per tutte le portate. Circa 45 € a testa con 2 bottiglie di Albugnano.

20/11/2025: We highly recommend this restaurant... both for the food and the service. We've been a few times, and the owner recognizes us and remembers our preferences. Their food is delicious, generous, and the prices are very reasonable. It's now one of our regular spots.

31/08/2025: I have known and frequented this place for years, this evening I was very disappointed, the only nice thing was the Italian girl at the cash register who apologized to me and I explained what had happened, I am allergic to mushrooms, and I already said it when I ordered because I asked if they were present in the vegetable ravioli, I order the rest, including the eight grilled jewels, and no one tells me anything, neither the owner nor the other waitress because we had asked for information from both of them, they bring them to me, I eat two pieces and find a mushroom, (they don't put them in all restaurants and since the waitress hadn't told me I thought they weren't there) I have it sent back and I wanted to change the dish imagining that they would just pretend to remake it, but after two minutes she tells me that they had already remade them and that it was not possible to change, I eat almost half the dish and another piece of mushroom appears, probably they tried to remove them but 1 the dish for me was now contaminated 2 it is not correct because if I tell you that I'm allergic, don't bring it to the kitchen, remove the 2/3 pieces that are there and bring it back to the table, a severe allergic person dies, anyway in the end I got up and went to pay because I had to immediately take the antihistamine that I had at home, the girl at the cashier was very sweet and apologized for what happened and didn't charge for the dish. I explained to her what had happened and she was incredulous too... you have to be careful because I'm not a severe allergic person (I don't go into shock) but a severe allergic person risks their life. You have to write down the ingredients of the dishes since the waiters don't speak Italian well and don't understand what you ask for.

05/06/2025: Wat een fijn restaurant. Fijne, pure producten. Voor mijn vrouw de Vitello tonato en voor mij de verse pasta met ragout. Daarna voor beiden de perfect klaargemaakte tagliata van de grill. Erbij voor beiden een glas Barbera superieure. Na warme chocolade gebak met twee bolletjes fris ijs. Na koffie met een digestief. Bediening zakelijk maar vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kortom uitstekend adres wat even buiten de stad ligt. Wij zijn hier nog een maand en komen daarin zeker nog terug.

01/06/2025: Uno dei miei ristoranti preferiti nella zona. Il cibo è squisito, agnolotti e taglierini fatti in casa da Ivano. Un posto informale ma curato. Carta di vino con etichette km zero di grande qualità.

26/09/2025: Much more than just a roastery, Ponchione has always represented quality coffee in Asti. To be enjoyed on-site or purchased, dozens of different types of coffee are available, from all over the world and to suit all budgets. And there's no shortage of sweets and local products. For those who stop by, a final treat, in addition to the usual courtesy, is an excellent coffee for just €1, which is quite a lot at a time when cups cost €1.30 and €1.50.
