A typical Piedmontese trattoria, the food, service, and price were all excellent and fair... just one thing: the peppers with bagna cauda and cardoon flan would have been better if they had been a little hotter. The spaghetti cacio e pepe was a bit too peppery for my taste. The cod al verde was excellent.
We'll definitely be back.

The restaurant is dated, but the attention to detail, cleanliness, and order are clearly evident. From the upper dining room, a breathtaking view of the Alps, particularly Monviso, awaits. The cuisine is strictly and typically Piedmontese. I personally chose the tasting menu: the locally produced cured meats are excellent, especially the coppa and cooked salami. The finely chopped vegetable salad is delicious. The tomino cheese with extra virgin olive oil and spices is particularly intriguing. A small note about the peppers with bagna cauda: the bagna must be "cauda buijenta" (boiling hot), not lukewarm. The roast beef is excellent. The hazelnut cake is special. The wine: a truly high-quality Nebbiolo from the Ceste di Govone winery. Everything is simple and everything is prepared with rare ingredients. The service is punctual and precise. The waitresses always have a smile on their faces and are always ready to chat and explain the ingredients or preparation of the dishes. The bill is fair. The owner is incredibly friendly. There's parking in the courtyard and plenty of parking in the nearby square. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Typical old #Langhe #osteria "like it used to be"
Simple dishes but well-made, not exceptional but still enjoyable.
We had the #vitellotonnato appetizer, peppers with #bagnacauda, and #cold cuts.
The quality is good, but nothing memorable.
For the main course, I had the #wildboarstew, and I have to say it was the best dish.
The wild boar was properly tender, which is no easy feat.
