18/11/2025: I finally ate some traditional dishes but with something extra, an extra edge, the mixed starter was exceptional, even the purple gnocchi, also the tiramisu was delicious, I have never experienced such a pleasure, I highly recommend it, the place is very welcoming and the owner and the chef are very kind, to try and try again

Excellent dishes, simple but very well prepared. Excellent service with young, friendly, and refined staff. Congratulations! Highly recommended.

Traditional Piedmontese dishes are served during the week, with a menu consisting of a first and second course. But be careful not to go off topic, because if you add anything extra, the bill will skyrocket. It's a real shame... Dear Madam, I'd like to respond immediately to your response to my review. First of all, I'd like to clarify something: since I know the area and the various trattorias near you well... You can't offer a fixed price of 13 euros and then, if someone adds a small plate of cold cuts like the photo, a dessert, and a half-liter of white wine, the bill will rise to over 30 euros. Honestly, there's no proportion... You know what I mean, I don't like being called names anymore. I've certainly eaten in trattorias more than you in my life, since you think I'm used to fast food... I assure you, there are trattorias around here. to you who with the same amount of money give starters, first courses, second courses, desserts, coffee and digestive. 20/01/2026: We were passing through and stopped at this trattoria. Nothing to complain about, the food was delicious, but the desserts could be improved. It's a shame that we ended up paying €16 for two bottles of water and two coffees. Was it a mistake, or is it the usual attitude of the restaurant owner who, thinking they'd never see us again, took the high price and didn't even give us a receipt? Since they told me I'd chosen the wrong restaurant, the bill is this: €96. 2 starters for €9.00 and two starters for €10.00 1 main course for €10.00 3 desserts for €6.00 2 glasses of Bonarda for €4.00 4 cover charges for €1.50.00 That leaves two coffees and two bottles of mineral water. 23/12/2025: È un bar a conduzione familiare che si trova al centro di Villanova d'Asti, in via Roma n°107. È un locale ben gestito e pulito e possiede duesale: la prima sala adibita per il bar, mentre la seconda sala per mangiare a pranzo. Lo staff è gentile e disponibile.

10/01/2026: We're regulars and have never been disappointed at Ristorante Roma! High-quality Piedmontese home cooking, the raw meat is among the best in Monferrato, and every dish is prepared with care and expertise. The restaurant, once very traditional, has been tastefully renovated over the years. The owners are extremely courteous and welcoming, as is the entire staff. What can I say? A guaranteed success!

15/11/2025: Under new management, it's finally returned to being a go-to place for breakfast and aperitifs. A wide selection of brioches, pastries, and other sweets, as well as focaccias and sandwiches. The staff is friendly and attentive.

18/01/2026: Wonderful experience in the center of Asti...a welcoming atmosphere, excellent, high-quality food, and delicious recipes. Everything was delicious!! Fair prices. The donkey meat was truly exquisite, it melted in your mouth.

22/11/2025: As we were passing by on our way to the Asti Christmas market, it caught our eye, and on the way back we made a point of stopping because we saw some platters of cured meats and cheese that looked delicious. The service was fantastic, very friendly and attentive. We ordered a bottle of wine, water, and a mixed platter for six people, and it was very good—not excessive, but perfectly adequate. We really enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

20/10/2025: Wow! This hidden gem in Asti offers an incredible service. Our family of seven was warmly welcomed by the smiling waiter, who went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. The aperitivo con tagliere was an absolute must!

09/02/2026: Nothing of the old Cocchi remains. There's no cocktail menu when years ago you were spoiled for choice. The platter is sparse. The bathroom doesn't work. The waiters don't even crack a smile. In short, forget it.
