02/11/2025: Tired place, chaotic service, and disorganized waiters (slippers and a sleeveless down jacket that he didn't take off upon arrival from outside). Dishes piled high on the table without clearing, food quite greasy despite generous portions and reasonable prices. I'd rather spend €5 more per person on Corso Alfieri Torrerossa and everything changes. I don't think we'll be back.

22/10/2025: Excellent home cooking. Excellent selection of local wines. Good price for lunch. Neat and clean throughout. The ideal place for plant lovers: it almost feels like lunch in a greenhouse. Very welcoming, the wait staff is friendly, courteous, and professional. Plenty of parking nearby.

19/10/2025: I just left for lunch at this restaurant, which I stumbled upon while visiting the area. The place is tastefully decorated, and the staff is extremely friendly and professional. The quality of the food is top-notch! The trio of tartares is a must-try! I was delighted to note the special attention paid to our four-legged friends. The place is also accessible to those with limited mobility. The prices are in line with the quality of the food. Highly recommended for anyone passing through.

El primo de mi esposa vive en Asti y lo recomendó, así que todos fuimos a cenar aquí. La comida, el servicio y el ambiente eran muy memorables.

21/09/2025: A Sunday lunch with great attention to detail. We ordered both meat and fish tastings, both excellent and plentiful. The food was carefully prepared and of excellent quality. A small misunderstanding with the chef was promptly and thoroughly resolved, with an apology. The owner's presentation of the dishes was impeccable. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend.

10/11/2025: What a lovely surprise this place is! My wife and I stumbled upon it by chance, after a pleasant visit to the Vezzolano Abbey, just a stone's throw away. Upon leaving, we said to ourselves, "Oh, look at this beautiful little village! Let's take a stroll. The village is Albugnano, which, to be honest, I didn't even know existed (my fault, obviously). "Hello: We didn't book, and there are two of us. Can you find a spot, maybe even under a staircase?" "I think I can find something better." :-D After a few minutes, before even sitting down at the table, in a beautiful, bright, and airy room, they asked us what kind of water we wanted. Interesting menu, not particularly long, but very nice, with traditional dishes, some with slight modifications, and a few off-menu items (the fried mushrooms, which my wife really enjoyed). Two appetizers, a first course and a second course, two excellent desserts, all washed down with a good local Barbera. Two excellent coffees rounded out a lovely experience, which I recommend to anyone who appreciates Piedmontese cuisine. Next time (because there will be a next time), we'll try the rest of the menu... little by little :-D

31/10/2025: We were there today, October 31, 2025. We had lunch outside at the tables facing the town square. The weather was perfect. The service was prompt and courteous. The hot and cold appetizers were special and delicate in flavor. The tagliolini with hazelnuts were superb! The braised meat was exceptionally tender and tasty. The hazelnut cake with zabaglione made by them (like the fettuccine and the bread), all with an excellent local Bonaeda. I'd say I made a good impression on my four guests! Highly recommended as a restaurant! Worth a try. Thanks for your attention. Marco Tesio
