Don't expect any menu, you have to trust the long experience of chef Maurizio in combining the ingredients, which each season offers to discover flavors never tried before. An experience worth living!!!! BOOKING IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

30/05/2025: Abbiamo scelto questo locale per il pranzo di Natale. Il menù era fisso, ma sono stati molto disponibili per sostituzioni per vegetariani e per intolleranti. Il menù era ricco e curato, sia negli ingredienti che nella presentazione del piatti. Il personale gentile e disponibile. Segnalo solo un cameriere giovane che ha fatto un po' di confusione, ma nell'insieme non ha creato disguidi e ha suscitato un po' di simpatia per l'inesperienza. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

17/05/2025: Spartan trattoria in the disused Bruno station, with convenient parking, excellent for a business lunch. For 13 euros they give you a first course, second course, side dish, bread, drinks and coffee. Choice between two first courses and two-three second courses, menu presented verbally. I have been there twice and I have eaten tortellini with meat sauce, stewed cod, penne with clam sauce, pork stew and French fries. Fairly good quality, well-seasoned food, normal portions, fast service.

15/06/2025: Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel our trip to Italy, so unfortunately we were NOT able to visit the little castle. I’m really very disappointed about that, as I was so looking forward to meeting Paola. She was so kind and understanding when I had to cancel our stay. We still hope to make it there one day, and I will definitely recommend a stay with them to our friends.

11/06/2025: We stayed here for 12 days. Paula is a perfect host and she does anything for her guests to make them comfortable and happy. The castle is beautiful and her diners are exceptionally good. We loved to be here. :)

20/06/2025: A small, rather rustic bar and restaurant. If you want to enjoy an excellent financiere, a Piedmontese specialty (roughly speaking, a stew made from offal), this is the place to be. The pasta with donkey meat is also worth a try.

El ambiente es tranquilo, moderno y acogedor, perfecto para una noche relajada. Como en visitas anteriores, el servicio fue excelente: amable, profesional, y atento sin ser intrusivo. Este es manos abajo nuestro restaurante favorito en la zona, y seguimos volviendo.  ¡Un verdadero sobresaliente!

13/05/2025: Our Favorite Spot – Consistently Outstanding Back at this gem after a few months — and once again, the dinner was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully prepared, and simply delicious. The ambience is calm, modern, and welcoming — perfect for a relaxed evening out. As on previous visits, the service was excellent: friendly, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. This is hands down our favorite restaurant in the area, and we keep coming back. A true standout!

02/05/2025: Location caratteristica situata nel centro storico di Castagnole L sotto i portici multicolore con vista sullo sconfinato panorama della valle . Personale gentilissimo molto accogliente e famigliare Ottimi piatti della tradizione piemontese. Originali i ravioli al plin con essenza di lavanda. Da gustare i taiarin al ragù di tre carni. Ottimi i dolci. Sicuramente da provare se passate da quelle parti. Lo consiglio.

24/06/2025: Wonderful location with spectacular view and friendly staff with products of their own production such as toasted hazelnut and wine all very good not to mention the tartare of fassona really very good never eaten a better one and all of a very high quality. 23/05/2025: A great confirmation for lunch! This year we stayed here to sleep at Easter and for Easter Monday lunch and the level and quality of the food confirmed our high expectations after having been here last year. The tartare of Fassona Piemontese was superb and seasoned in a fantastic way. The vitello tonnato was among the best I have ever eaten! And this year we also tried the stay in Brambui!! Spectacular! And of course this year we couldn't help but buy their IGP hazelnut paste and their toasted hazelnuts! All produced by them! Congratulations to the Durando Family!! Keep it up! 04/05/2025: Beautiful location, an authentic oasis of peace among the Asti vineyards just a few km from Asti. Clean and tidy room, friendly and helpful owners during the stay. Very good breakfast with homemade products from Marcello. The wines they produce are also excellent... worth trying.

13/07/2025: A real insider tip is this restaurant in the old monastery. The garden, oh my goodness, is so charming, and the food is a true work of art. Truly amazing...
