If you want to have animals...at least let them be treated well. Anyway, I'm giving the lunch 5 stars because they deserve it. And thank you for your reply. 07/12/2025: Lunch today with friends who had made reservations. The appetizers and Piedmontese-style boiled meat were truly fantastic, and for those who didn't want boiled meat, there were excellent alternatives. Dessert, coffee, and an after-dinner drink, excellent local wine at a very fair price. Excellent and cheerful service, even with the dining room packed. Highly recommended.

07/12/2025: We went for lunch and had a wonderful meal; both the appetizers and the gnocchi were delicious. The table had a spectacular view.

19/02/2026: Incredible location, a timeless beauty. The ribbed vaults are still frescoed in some places... The food is always excellent, and the menu is constantly evolving. Very attentive and friendly service...often friendly. They also host weddings, communions, baptisms, and business dinners. They also have a room for corporate and private events.

The location is also beautiful. I didn't give it five stars because I didn't particularly like the desserts; they could have been better. However, I will definitely return if I'm in Canelli again because I ate really well. Recommended.

23/01/2026: A beautiful restaurant in the center of Canelli, where you can enjoy expertly prepared dishes paired with a vast selection of wines. The entire wait staff is very friendly and helpful. Various menu options are offered at reasonable prices considering the quality of the ingredients used. Reservations are recommended.

06/12/2025: A family restaurant located on the family's hospitality farm. The service is excellent, the food is wonderful and the atmosphere is homely and warm. It was so good in all parameters that we dined there twice. Of course highly recommended!

26/12/2025: We stopped here for dinner. Food experiences were a bit mixed. 2 of us ordered steaks and they were a bit raw inside. When this was pointed out they were friendly and would cook them more. This didn't help as they were still raw inside. Somewhat expensive food and drinks.

08/03/2026: Historic venue with a striking entrance. The owner and staff are very welcoming and attentive to requests. The ambiance is refined. Dinner for two, with an excellent wine list and a well-tempered Barbera Superiore. The traditional appetizers were perfect, flawless, and the fritto misto had room for improvement. Overall, a positive experience.

Each course was a journey of flavors, starting with the appetizers, which immediately set a high standard. The Vitello Tonnato was a triumph of delicacy and flavor, with the meat melting in your mouth and a balanced, creamy tuna sauce. Next up, the Peperoni con Bagna Càoda offered a bold contrast: the sweetness of the roasted peppers paired perfectly with the intense, enveloping character of the Piedmontese sauce, a true ode to regional flavors. For the first course, the Plin were impeccable. Small, perfectly filled, and served with a sauce that enhanced their freshness, demonstrating the kitchen's excellent skill in preparing fresh pasta. The highlight of the meal was the lamb chops: perfectly cooked, succulent and tender, with a flavorful and aromatic crust. A true delight for meat lovers. 14/03/2026: Every time I'm in Piedmont, I stop by Mombaruzzo and this wonderful establishment! It's always a pleasure to have lunch or dinner here! The dishes are typical Piedmontese cuisine, made with high-quality ingredients! The tartare is delicious, and the cheese selection is a multi-flavored delight! In the fall, they offer white truffles. 🫶🏼 The atmosphere is very pleasant, cozy, and calm!
