07/10/2025: I returned last Sunday for lunch, almost 40 years after my last visit, but the quality, courtesy and professionalism are still the same as they were then; and as they say about good wine...it can only improve with time, and that's what happened with this historic place that characterised some Sundays of my youth.

01/09/2025: I was there recently for a wedding. The location is well-suited for receptions and weddings, with the option of a civil ceremony. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, and they catered especially to celiacs and those with food intolerances.

05/10/2025: A young, attentive, and friendly restaurant run by a dedicated team, nothing fancy. A well-curated and varied wine list with brief but effective descriptions of each bottle and photos. Traditional and innovative dishes, never boring. It was a pleasant surprise, and we'll definitely be back.

02/10/2025: It's rare to find a restaurateur as knowledgeable about wine as James. I recommend his restaurant for its excellent wine cellar and consistently top-notch menu. Bravo!

29/09/2025: Three friends dropped in by chance, waiting for three others to join us. The owner seated us outside because all the tables inside were occupied, and in the meantime we browsed the menu. He was very clear about the ingredients, prices, recommended wine pairings, and a few funny jokes. Outside, there were other tables with people waiting to eat, all under a pergola. Even though the owner was alone, he did his best to make us feel comfortable. When the rest of the group arrived, we chose our dishes. Being a wine bar, it was well stocked with wines, and we were recommended the best ones based on what we ordered. We ate and drank beautifully; the attention to detail was a strong point. Everything was perfect. Furthermore, the owner spoke fluent English with the foreign diners. Finally, a top-notch business. Truly well done.

Friendly young owners, cozy, authentic decor, excellent cuisine with "simple" but very finely prepared typical Piedmont dishes, and friendly service—what more could you want? Oh, and of course, they also offer great wine at very reasonable prices ;-)

04/10/2025: Wonderful restaurant! Great care was taken in selecting the ingredients, in the cuisine, in the service, in everything. Expectations were quite high, and they were not disappointed. The homemade pasta and meats were excellent. The wine selection was good. The availability of porcini mushrooms was an added bonus. Well done, truly well done! You deserve your success. Highly recommended.

17/10/2025: We had a wonderful time. The rooms are large, beautiful, and spotlessly clean. Two balconies, a large bathroom, a large shower, and two sinks. They feel like suites! The restaurant is exceptional, with a top chef, Valter. The service provided by Roberto and his wife is impeccable. I highly recommend it. Oh, and the aperitivo was magnificent, both for the wine and the food!! Thank you.

21/09/2025: Very spacious room with a sitting area. Bathroom with a huge shower and double sinks. Air conditioning. Very comfortable king-size bed. Larger-than-average TV. Pool towels provided. Large pool with loungers, umbrellas, and a lifeguard.

06/10/2025: During a Sunday outing and after a delightful tasting at a local winery, we happened upon lunch here, and it was truly perfect. The location is exquisite, and the staff is professional and courteous, as well as very well organized. The restaurant has a relaxed, family-like atmosphere. A perfect Sunday lunch. Excellent ingredients, crafted with care and expertise, all locally sourced. We paired our food with wines from the same winery we came from for the tasting. Excellent quality at a great price. Kudos to the restaurant owners. P.S. Very convenient and ample parking in front of the restaurant.

20/09/2025: One of the best restaurants in Nice, and quite controversial. Delicious, authentic Piedmontese dishes. You can tell they really put a lot of care into the presentation of the dishes. There's an extensive wine list. The service is truly superb: incredibly friendly and with an eye for detail. In short, this is a must-visit.

29/09/2025: Located in the village of Coazzolo, it enjoys a view of the vineyards of the surrounding hills. The place is very suggestive, housed in a former nursery school. The furnishings are very refined in a very charming classic style. Many different rooms, including a very intimate and lovely 4-seater. Quality plates and cutlery, there are no tablecloths but paper placemats, just as the menus are in laminated paper. The service is friendly, helpful, attentive, with perfect service times. 19/09/2025: We are a couple (first time in Piedmont), recommended by the owner of the Borgo ai Piani B&B, 5 km away. Everything was perfect: Location, service, menu, bill. Professionalism, attention to detail, and great elegance. A place to return to with your eyes closed.

21/09/2025: We ate lunch outside and were very satisfied. The food was cooked with love and dedication. The owners were very friendly and approachable. The service was excellent. We will definitely be back as soon as possible.

07/09/2025: We dined at this restaurant this time. I highly recommend the rabbit roulade appetizer; the meat was tender and paired perfectly with the balsamic vinegar and olive oil. The veal stew was also very tender, though the main course was a bit more heavily seasoned, so I recommend enjoying it with the appetizer bread. The dessert is a must-try here. I recommend the cream cheese; it's incredibly rich and creamy, with a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture. For those looking for a local dessert, try the grilled peaches in the first row of desserts; I really enjoyed their sweet and sour flavor.

22/06/2025: Nascosto in una vietta storica di Nizza. In un locale che una volta vendeva le colorite cocorite che hanno accompagnato la mia infanzia. La Taverna Margherita è un piccolo angolo fatato dove il cibo tipico piemontese diventa magia. Assolutamente da provare
