A small trattoria in the center of Acqui, run by a charming couple, offers a relaxed and intimate atmosphere, ideal for enjoying excellent Piedmontese cuisine. The owners offer contemporary dishes without compromising tradition. From Dolcetto to Barolo, the wine selection is excellent, and in this region blessed by Bacchus, they certainly don't need much evaluation. In short, eating here, especially considering the more than reasonable price, is an experience definitely worth the effort. I personally can't wait to return.

Welcoming, family-run restaurant with friendly owners and quick service. Typical Piedmontese dishes include a trio of appetizers, including the plin with Fassona sauce.

We tried the mixed appetizers, first courses, and dessert. The staff was friendly, but the tartare had some black spots, and the tortellini were a bit salty and overcooked. The robiola cream was beautifully presented, and the brachetto jam with the aged robiola was appreciated. We expected a few more traditional Piedmontese dishes and even more flavor. Overall, it was acceptable, but not enough to make us return. For €60 for two, you could do better.

Food from our Piedmont, NOT revisited or modified into something "modern."
