29/10/2024: I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant, and I have to say it was a fantastic experience. I called directly to place the order and found the staff extremely kind and helpful in answering all my questions and recommending dishes. The delivery was very punctual, which I really appreciated, because the quality of the service really makes the difference. And the food? Simply delicious! Everything was carefully prepared and arrived hot and well presented. I highly recommend this restaurant for both the quality of the food and the excellent customer service.

04/10/2024: Encontré este lugar sin pretensiones en el segundo día de estancia en Vercelli. Instantáneamente hecho para sentirse bienvenido por el personal extremadamente amable que se hizo amigo. Empezamos con una moca que nos gusta en Nueva Zelanda y nos convertimos en nuestro lugar favorito para cenar. También empezamos con un plato de carne, queso, miel y mermelada de higo junto a Birra Moretti y vino tinto. Esta fue una introducción divertida y muy sabrosa y Umberto nos deleitó con su inglés, humor y conversaciones que nos llevaron a regresar para almuerzos y cenas preparadas por un carnicero galardonado y personal encantador. Umberto, Claudio, Gabriella y el personal se aseguraron de que nos cuidaron y nos sentimos honrados de experimentar comida y bebidas de alto nivel. ¿He mencionado el filete? ¡No te decepcionarás! Después de dos semanas en Vercelli fue un triste adiós. Esperamos volver algún día.

14/01/2025: Dinner given as a gift to celebrate a special occasion. All in all, an ordinary, elegant but classic place. We took the 6-course tasting menu and a glass of wine each. Very scenic courses, however some were not very tasty. Special praise should be given to the fried egg, it was really good. The start of dinner was slightly embarrassing, because in the restaurant there were only us and another gentleman and we were placed at tables side by side, despite the remaining empty room, so he could hear everything we were saying (there wasn't even music) . In the end we paid 190 euros for two and left full

13/02/2025: Conoscevo il ristorante per il menù con gli asparagi che frequentavo sovente in quel di Santena. Leggendo di un menù ai carciofi, decidevo di provare anche questa opzione nella nuova sede, presso un albergo, di Poirino. Due antipasti, un primo, un secondo, dolce: tutti prodotti buoni ma ... piatti normali con carciofi, senza fantasia: non una vera carciofata. Prezzo con una bottiglia di vino: 96€ in due.

09/02/2025: After the visit to Casa Martini we stopped for lunch on a Sunday. Fabulous veal with tuna sauce, a special mention to the savoy cabbage and sausage and hazelnuts. Very kind staff.

26/01/2025: Nulla di speciale, il locale necessiterebbe di una ristrutturazione interna, evidenti segni degli anni che passano. Purtroppo avevamo aspettative più alte sui primi, le tagliatelle al ragù non erano di pasta fresca, un buon piatto ma come ognuno di noi potrebbe farsi a casa propria. I dolci nella norma, si denota una certa lentezza nel servizio. Da rivedere.

01/01/2025: The Belvedere restaurant proved to be an excellent choice for New Year's Day lunch. Located in a suggestive hilly environment, the restaurant offers a splendid view of the hills, convenient parking and a welcoming atmosphere, also perfect for those with children. The guided fixed menu really won us over: two courses of delicious appetizers, with caponata, cured meats, flan and omelette; two impeccable first courses, among which the meat ravioli in capon broth and a rice timbale stand out; two succulent second courses of meat with well-matched side dishes, such as roast kingfish. It all ended with a trio of unforgettable desserts, in which the Genoese pandolce was simply perfect. The quality of the food is very high, all carefully prepared at home and served at the ideal temperature. Belvedere's traditional cuisine is an authentic journey into genuine flavours, enhanced by the friendliness of the staff and owner, always attentive and available. Finally, the quality-price ratio is exceptional, an aspect that makes this experience even more satisfying. We can't wait to return to taste their cuisine again!

02/12/2024: Piacevole atmosfera d'altri tempi,ottimo cibo in degustazione, antipasto misto molto buono, tagliolini al tartufo eccezionali, dolci della casa da non perdere. Personale gentile e disponibile.

08/02/2025: Arriviamo al ristorante a seguito di prenotazione, arrivati li ci chiedono 20/30 minuti perché il tavolo prima é andato lungo e ci chiedono di tornare più tardi, cose che capitano, andiamo via senza dire niente. Prima di tornare, chiamiamo per essere assicurarci che il tavolo sia disponibile e al telefono ci dicono che in 10 minuti il tavolo avrà finito. Ci presentiamo quindi nuovamente al ristorante, ma ci vediamo costretti ad aspettare altri 30 minuti, mentre altri clienti ci passano davanti. Una volta finalmente seduti, servizio abbastanza veloce, ma qualche ingrediente probabilmente se lo erano dimenticati in frigo in quanto arrivato gelato. Per il resto, qualcosa di buono e qualcosa di meno buono. Probabilmente non ci tornerò.
