16/01/2025: I tried the restaurant last night. The dishes offered are highly sought after, there are offers based on both meat or fish and also interesting proposals for vegetarians/vegans. I recommend perhaps pairing them with one of the excellent cocktails they offer. Absolutely recommended place to spend a pleasant evening with friends!

30/12/2024: Es war ein Hochgenuss! Wir haben zunächst einen Wintersalat bestellt, mit Orangen, Granatapfel und Parmesan: schon dieser Salat war klasse. Es war kein Problem, daß wir ihn uns zu zweit teilten. Dann wählten wir Hirschkotlett und Fischplatte. Das Hirschkotlett wart gut wie ich nur selten eines gegessen habe. Die Fischplatte mit 5 verschiedenen Fischen einschließlich sehr großen, frischen Garnelen. Es erübrigt sich, zu sagen, daß der Nachtisch auch toll war. Der Service war perfekt! Ich kann nur sagen super! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!!!

15/02/2025: We were at the Ugly Anatroccolo in November, we discovered it by chance one evening while searching on Google for a place to have dinner and it was a wonderful discovery. It is a nice and well-kept little place where the food is prepared with love and great attention as well as with obvious technical and culinary skills. We liked it so much that we returned the next day for lunch. Everything we ate was delicious and of great quality. But above all the hosts were delightful. Carla and her husband are two beautiful people, we stopped to chat with them about food, horoscopes and life. We absolutely recommend you try this restaurant and stop and chat if you can. 18/02/2025: Measly dishes for the price. Hot loose water. They don't serve the tables you have to go to the counter get the dishes and bring them to the table. Foreign waitress who doesn't explain anything to you, you have to understand from the signs. Dusty outdoor tables.

29/12/2024: Went for dinner on Saturday. Inviting location. Menu with many dishes from the region, ergo, the top. Precise service. We can definitely recommend the courgette puff pastry and the agnolotti with roast sauce 😋 Delicious. Then, Chardonnay tenders and "Coccio" with a bread dough lid... an absolute must try! 😜😛 Very nice owner, it was nice to have a chat. Structure that I certainly recommend 👍💪

16/02/2025: Excellent dishes: mix of Piedmontese appetizers and the unbeatable agnolotti. The staff were attentive and very kind. The only flaw: seeing them running from the kitchen to the tables to speed up the service penalizes the atmosphere of the place and the customer experience. Prices higher than average.

24/02/2025: Had lunch on Carnival Sunday, the place was full, the kind owner found us a table for two. The boy who served us immediately proved to be very attentive and professional, always with a smile. The two of us ate a mixed appetizer with the gorgonzola as the protagonist, already halved in the kitchen, the paniscia (excellent) Milanese cutlet with chips and gorgonzola sauce, two desserts (excellent pear and chocolate) and a glass of local white wine. Abundant portions (except dessert) spent €43 per person, perhaps a little too much.

05/11/2024: Update 2024. At the beginning of October we were back in the Barolo area. So it was clear to us that we would plan a meal at Santisè on the return journey via Asti. The weather was a bit too cool for an outdoor lunch, but the interior is also very nicely decorated - somewhat Italian-rustic. As expected, the food was again excellent and the service was very friendly and personal. Another highlight was the “open red wine” that my wife ordered. She could choose, took the Barbera d'Asti Bricco dell Uccellone and was thrilled. The bottle from which the wine was served had an elaborate attachment that protected the wine from oxygen - very appropriate for this good wine. - Until the next trip to Piedmont! We were there for lunch in September 2022. Very nicely prepared and delicious food in a very pleasant atmosphere outside in the garden of the restaurant. We liked it so much that we stopped there again a week later on our way back.
