17/11/2024: Cercavano un locale nei dintorni di Ovada e abbiamo trovato questa osteria. Invogliati dalle recensioni positive abbiamo raggiunto la località. Il paese è carino e il locale è tipico dell'osteria, semplice e pulito. Ad accoglierci il titolare, persona gentile, che ci accompagna al tavolo. Il menù è semplice ma con piatti interessanti, prendiamo tagliolini con funghi veramente buoni e pasta con pesto patate e fagiolini veramente ottimi. Come secondo prendo stoccafisso in umido che non ho mangiato perché nonostante la qualità del prodotto lo stoccafisso, che non ho mai mangiato in vita mia, ha un sapore che non incontra il mio palato. Scusandomi con l'oste per non aver mangiato il piatto e chiarendo che comunque lo avrei pagato egli con molta professionalità mi disse che non lo avrebbe conteggiato visto che non lo avevo consumato. Con lui abbiamo disquisito sul fatto che nel menu non vi fosse la carne alla griglia menzionata da altri frequentatori come ottima. Con cordialità ci chiarisce che le carni vengono servite alla sera e che se lo volevano poteva comunque prepararci due tagliate. Accettiamo la sua proposta e assaggiamo la tagliata e devo dire che la carne si scioglieva in bocca, gustosa e cotta alla perfezione. Sicuramente ritorneremo in questo locale sia per la qualità delle materie prime sia per la simpatia e professionalità dell'oste.

The place was very crowded and the service was a bit confusing. At dinner there was an à la carte menu and although the room was very crowded the service was quick and efficient. Good quality/price ratio. Courteous and helpful staff. Advised.

09/02/2025: Siamo stati in questa trattoria con amici che abitano in zona , e' all'interno di una cascina ,credo che d'estate sia molto carino pranzare fuori . Ci hanno servito piatti del menù fisso , 6 antipasti ,un primo.e.un secondo molto buoni ,chiudendo con un dolce , accompagnato da acqua e vino della casa. Ottimo.rapporto qualità prezzo , ottimo cibo ben cucinato

Good, homemade desserts, traditional like bunet and with some other more original delicacies. Correct price. Kindness, courtesy, excellent dishes in a nice place, we will be back. Well done

22/02/2025: Everything ok, good pizza, quick service, but one question.... why does a "children's" Margherita pizza on the menu cost 4 euros while at the checkout, if an adult ate it, it costs 6, i.e. the price of a standard Margherita?

24/01/2025: Old Locanda style restaurant. The village is a little gem and the place is perfectly inserted into the atmosphere of an ancient village. The owners, two architects from Turin, have brought a place from times gone by back to life. The cuisine was excellent and the dishes were truly traditional.

27/02/2025: Sono stata più volte in questo ristorante e mi sono sempre trovata molto bene. Ieri ho acquistato per la prima volta nella loro bottega gastronomica. La selezione presente era molto invitante. Ho scelto fiori di zucca fritti, crocchette di patate al forno, insalata di polipo e insalata russa. Il voto che dò è ottimo per freschezza dei prodotti e per sapore dei piatti. Lo consiglio sicuramente.

07/01/2025: Very nice place, with few seats, which would make it perfect for an intimate clientele, perhaps without the presence of children who, through no fault of their own, are children and perhaps would be more suitable for different contexts... given this premise which unfortunately partially alters the overall opinion, the dishes are very good, more than generous portions, ok service, reasonable prices... it's a shame I wasn't able to fully enjoy lunch....
