06/07/2025: All very good!! Very nice and well-kept restaurant.. staff 👏!!

22/06/2025: This is the second time I have attended a group dinner with a fixed menu for 30 euros, wine not included. Measly appetizers for about 4 per person, a spoonful of Russian salad and two spoonfuls of unseasoned raw meat and 7.8 paccheri as a first course with tomato and burrata. All accompanied by hot water with the internal temperature of the place being about 40 degrees. We asked several times for ice and fresh wine which never arrived at the table, saying that the fridge had run out, so we drank warm and poor quality wine. Terrible service, given that we were sitting at the end of the table and the waitresses gave the dish to the beginning of the table, saying 'pass them'. Considering that our table's evening takings were more than 800 euros, they were not even offered limoncello to apologize and not even one of the staff said goodbye to us when we left the place, which I personally will obviously never see again.

The location is brand new, design, we did not find any flaws, also the quality-price ratio is very good. Recommended!

23/05/2025: Partiamo dalla cosa meno positiva, l'ubicazione. Situato in una zona un pochino defilata dal centro se invece vogliamo vedere il lato positivo gode di ampi spazi. Struttura dal design moderno adatto per una cena tranquilla oppure ad un evento come nel nostro caso. Siamo stati accolti a bordo piscina per l’aperitivo, con un tavolo e relativo addetto a versare il vino agli ospiti. Sono stati serviti dei finger food di ottima qualità e i camerieri sempre presenti ma mai invadenti. L’interno con toni bianco e grigio è molto armonioso e pur essendo al completo il rumore di sottofondo non è mai stato fastidioso, questo denota che i pannelli fonoassorbenti hanno fatto egregiamente il proprio lavoro. E’ stato servito come primo un risottino molto buono e mantecato al punto giusto, invece ho gradito meno il secondo (costine) più dettato dal fatto che non amo questo taglio di carne. Gelato come dolce buonissimo, forse la portata migliore di tutte. Nebbiolo e Roero Arneis di buona qualità. E’ stato chiesto come ammazza caffè sia l’Amaretto di Saronno che i Baleys ma purtroppo nessuno dei due era disponibile. Forse in queste zono viene richiesto poco di frequente. 20/07/2025: Premesso che spiace sempre molto lasciare recensioni e commenti negati ad un locale, credo però sia doveroso farlo nella speranza che possa essere vista tale constatazione come un critica costruttiva: Ci siamo recati in questo locale colmi di molte aspettative attratti da location indubbiamente molto bella e spunti ricercati. Ma quando ci si siede alle 20-45 e ci si alza più di due dopo riuscendo a mangiare 2 piatti su 3 ordinati (un antipasto e due secondi) per una attesa davvero troppo lunga, e su tre ti arriva un’ora dopo un piatto non tuo che nemmeno mangi, tutta la magia viene meno, inclusa la fame che ti passa. Si nota, che Al resto della sala arrivano piatti con tempi diversi ed era palpabile la confusione in cucina e tempi lunghi di attesa, già velatamente accennati dalla responsabile in sala. Il piatto non nostro, che a mala pena assaggiamo più per fame, lo lasciamo lì, e ci viene offerto per scusarsi per l’errore. Successivamente per rincarire la cosa ci vengono offerti due calici di vino rosso (se posso permettermi decontestualizzati dal Momento che bevevamo un bianco, ma nn importa.. si apprezza l’impegno) Ciò che nn ci può stare, è che al momento di pagare il conto nel riepilogo ci si chieda di pagarlo. E ci si faccia notare l’omaggio della Barbera cosa piuttosto sgradevole, ma soprattutto dal momento che nessuno aveva chiesto facendo la stessa fine del piatto non nostro. Credo che le serate storte capitano a tutti, ma è anche pur vero che se si cerca di ricucire errori non si devono fare altri scivoloni al momento di concludere. Suggerisco più attenzione, in tutto.. avete un bel locale a mio avviso pieno di potenzialità.

Wide and varied menu, with focaccia, pizzas but also numerous dishes including first/second courses etc. We tried several dishes. Friendly and fast service. It was all excellent. Well-kept and clean place, with several rooms and privacy, also excellent for business dinners. In the center of Saluzzo, in an excellent location!

25/07/2025: Ristorante con meravigliosa vista sulle colline e menu che non ha niente da invidiare ad un ristorante stellato, favoloso il risotto ai fiori di zucca, toma e chiocciole delle Langhe, favolosa la quaglia con amarene cioccolato bianco e foje grass, per non parlare della guancia di vitello. Ed il prezzo assolutamente congruo .

13/07/2025: Una experiencia absolutamente genial. Visitamos para almorzar. En resumen, es una visita obligada si te gusta una gran interpretación de la cocina típica piamontesa pero prefieres un restaurante normal en lugar de un establecimiento tipo Michelin largo y complejo... muy buena selección de comida vegetariana con productos de su propio huerto. Durante los últimos 20 años en Italia, probablemente comí el mejor risotto: con espárragos y caracoles. Se necesita mucho tiempo para que los espárragos y el arroz tengan la misma densidad: ligeramente al dente y con un sabor muy característico. La carrillera de jabalí y la ternera con colmenillas (bromeábamos que se trataba de colmenillas con ternera, pues había muchísimas) también estaban absolutamente buenísimas. Nos dieron pequeños postres porque estábamos completamente llenos. La carta de vinos es, como probablemente sea habitual en cualquier lugar de calidad del Piamonte: buen vino a cualquier precio. Por último, la vista desde la terraza es estupenda.

Beppe and his team always manage to find innovative flavors and combinations without ever giving up tradition. A well-rounded host, a true point of reference in Turin. 28/06/2025: Totally unacceptable. I was told 15 minutes for a couple of small pizzas - no big deal. After waiting, they calmly tell me it's another 20 minutes. No apology, no urgency, just total disrespect for my time. This place clearly has no regard for their customers. I will never go back.

15/04/2025: After a very pleasant Sunday lunch with the family, I confirm with even more enthusiasm that the Cascina Barbassa restaurant is an obligatory stop for lovers of good Piedmontese cuisine. The rustic and welcoming environment proved to be even warmer and perfect for a convivial Sunday lunch. The real protagonist, as always, is the cuisine, which skilfully enhances the authentic flavors of the territory. We particularly appreciated the abundance of the portions and the attentiveness of the staff, who passed between the tables several times asking if we still wanted to taste their delights. A gesture of attention that denotes great care for the guest. The ingredients are very fresh, and you can clearly perceive their origin from the farm, guaranteeing excellent quality. The appetizers with the particular ostrich cured meats were an excellent opening, followed by first courses with homemade pasta reminiscent of the flavors of the past. The meat-based second courses were a true triumph of taste, and the wide choice of excellent local wines perfectly accompanied each course. The young and friendly staff contributed to making the atmosphere even more pleasant and relaxed, demonstrating professionalism and availability. The quality-price ratio is absolutely excellent, considering the abundance and authenticity of the dishes offered. 02/05/2025: Location caratteristica situata nel centro storico di Castagnole L sotto i portici multicolore con vista sullo sconfinato panorama della valle . Personale gentilissimo molto accogliente e famigliare Ottimi piatti della tradizione piemontese. Originali i ravioli al plin con essenza di lavanda. Da gustare i taiarin al ragù di tre carni. Ottimi i dolci. Sicuramente da provare se passate da quelle parti. Lo consiglio.

07/07/2025: Ristorante super semplice, siamo stati in un viaggio al Designer Outlet. Cucina della tradizione con un fritto di verdure veramente eccezionale. Servizio cordiale, conto onestissimo. Da tenere in mente, non è necessario di etichette per un pranzo di passaggio senza grandi pretese, importante trovare una cucina buona e genuina.

Excellent traditional dishes, well-prepared and served with kindness and charm by the excellent chef and her husband, the owners of the trattoria. The other chef who served us was also polite and cheerful. The quality-price ratio was very good, and the wines by the glass were also good. The atmosphere is typically rustic and very tidy and clean. After dinner, we had the opportunity to visit the brewery next door and chat with Alfredo, the owner, who told us various anecdotes about his life and his passion for his job as a host. Thanks again for everything, we felt at home and will definitely be back very soon!
