What is an osteria? It was born as a place to drink wine and enjoy simple but delicious snacks and food, with a strong emphasis on the host's hospitality. Marco, the owner, and his establishment perfectly reflect this. Congratulations!

We found ourselves here by chance and it was a wonderful surprise. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was informal and pleasant, and the staff were exquisite. I absolutely recommend it.

29/03/2026: Fresh, perfectly cooked food—the meat, the fish, the pasta—all excellent. They were also the friendliest of all the places I visited in Sestriere. The waitress suggested and helped me order, and every dish was amazing. Plus, the views were beautiful. Definitely recommended.
31/01/2026: The place is a little hard to find. The hand-cut, homemade fries are incredibly good. The chicken breast with mustard sauce was very tasty but a small portion. Nice wine selection. The owner is very friendly. We found it a bit pricey for what we ate.

26/05/2026: La Taverna del Pescatore (the Anchor) is a delightful Turin establishment where seafood reigns supreme, served in a variety of exquisite dishes. It's family-run, and you can tell right away from the courtesy, passion, and professionalism with which you're greeted. The fish is incredibly fresh, and our grilled meat was excellent. Kudos to Ilaria, who is kind and friendly. See you soon. Alessandro and Francesca
