02/08/2025: The 3 stars are for part of the food. Let's start by saying that for €25 all-inclusive, I'm not expecting much (if I'd paid €35, I'd have given it 2 stars). I ate decently. I like home cooking, but this is just too home cooking, in the sense that it seems like it was made by me, even though I'm not very good at cooking, or like the food I used to eat at the summer camp cafeteria. The appetizers were excellent, but the main courses were the real disappointment: aside from being a bit redundant (similar), the pasta wasn't good; it tasted like Barilla and was a bit overcooked. The second pasta dish had a sauce that I couldn't tell what flavor it was; I later discovered it was mushroom. The second course wasn't bad, good, but a bit salty. I found the service good. The atmosphere was quaint, which I really like. Would I go back? No.

09/03/2025: Informal and quiet place. Service carried out directly by the very kind and welcoming owner. Excellent value for money. We ate a mixed starter with very delicate and good raw meat, agnolotti with roast sauce and a fabulous hazelnut kiss cake. Huge choice of wines. Highly recommended.

06/08/2025: Located on the main road to Acqui Terme, this restaurant isn't very large, but it's welcoming and clean (including the bathrooms, which aren't exactly a given). Friendly staff. The menu features both meat and fish dishes, along with a wide selection of pizzas (they also offer takeout), and is also suitable for those with food intolerances and celiac disease. My advice, however, is to eliminate any unavailable dishes, otherwise you risk disappointing more people. Service is efficient and fairly quick. It's a great place to stop for a quick stopover (we didn't try the B&B option).

28/04/2025: Raramente capita di mangiare tutto così bene in un ristorante, piatti tipici della cucina siciliana squisiti, con un bell'impiattamento e porzioni adeguate, stinco di maiale molto meglio che in Germania, tris di arancini spettacolare e migliore di quelli assaggiati in Sicilia, caponata ottima, carne di una qualità difficile da trovare in un ristorante, cannoli esagerati. Personale gentilissimo, locale molto carino ed elegante, conto alla cassa assolutamente concorrenziale rispetto a quanto offerto. Sicuramente ritorneremo e lo consigliamo vivamente.

25/04/2025: Siamo stati diverse volte sia a pranzo che cena, cucina sempre ottima. Menu che riporta al meglio le eccellenze italiane. Ottima selezione di vini, personale giovane e molto cortese

30/03/2025: Eravamo già stati in questo ristorante ma ,mai al pranzo della domenica per motivi di lavoro, oltre al menù fisso con portate abbondanti ci hanno accolto con uno stuzzicante aperitivo fuori dal locale, cucina curata piatti tradizionali es..vitello tonnato sfogliatine prosciutto e formaggio ravioli sugo di noci carne alla brace......prezzo piu che onesto....ne vale il viaggio....bravi

03/01/2025: Se passate in valle Mongia, dovete provare questo ristorante, ricordatevi però di prenotare soprattutto a pranzo perchè senza è difficile riuscire a sedersi! Tenetevi leggeri a colazione però, perche rischiate di non riuscire ad assaggiare tutto quello che vi porteranno!! E quando andate via passate a vedere il ponte naturale sul Mongia, unico in Italia che ha solo un altro concorrente in tutta Europa!

11/07/2025: Da qualche tempo volevamo ritornare in questa Steak House di livello ed abbiamo approfittato di una fresca e tranquilla serata nonché di una bella offerta . Provata una Manzetta Scozzese davvero ottima per frollatura,sapore e cottura e mia moglie un tris di carni il tutto bagnato con una fresca Sangria. Servizio puntuale e cortese, torneremo a breve con amici e più appetito.

31/07/2025: Una vera perla sul lungolago di Stresa! Il Bar Bolongaro è il luogo perfetto per concedersi una pausa rilassante, con una vista mozzafiato sul lago maggiore e un’atmosfera accogliente che ti fa sentire subito a casa. Il personale è estremamente gentile e disponibile, sempre pronto con un sorriso e attento a ogni esigenza del cliente. L’accoglienza calorosa è uno dei punti forti di questo locale: che si tratti di un caffè al volo(barman ottimo) o di un aperitivo al tramonto. Le proposte del bar sono ottime: caffè eccellente, pasticceria fresca e curata, e una selezione di cocktail preparati con cura, perfetti per accompagnare un tagliere con vista lago. Il tutto servito con gusto e attenzione ai dettagli. La posizione è semplicemente incantevole: sedersi ai tavolini esterni, magari nelle prime ore del mattino o durante il tramonto, è un’esperienza che vale da sola la visita.

31/07/2025: Il Bar Bolongaro è una piccola perla che conquista fin dal primo momento. L’atmosfera calda e accogliente ti fa sentire subito a casa, merito soprattutto di un personale gentilissimo, sempre sorridente e disponibile, pronto a prendersi cura di ogni cliente con grande attenzione. Il caffè è semplicemente eccellente: cremoso, aromatico, servito alla perfezione. Ideale per iniziare la giornata col piede giusto o concedersi una pausa di puro piacere. I panini sono una vera sorpresa, preparati con ingredienti freschi e di qualità. Una menzione speciale va al panino con la ’nduja: piccante al punto giusto, saporito e irresistibile. Una vera esplosione di gusto che vale il viaggio. L'accoglienza è impeccabile: ogni dettaglio è curato con amore e professionalità, creando un ambiente dove ci si sente davvero benvoluti.
