06/09/2025: It's a self-service restaurant with a choice of 2 or 3 starters, main courses and side dishes, 1/2 litre of water, 1/4 litre of wine, a coffee costs around €13 per person, even on Fridays when they serve fish. The quality/price ratio and speed between when you enter and when you eat are unbeatable.

The restaurant is well-kept, welcoming, and has a quiet atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing break in the historic center. The staff is friendly, always attentive but not intrusive. The menu offers traditional Marche dishes with a tasteful twist: everything is well-presented and of good quality. The Ascoli olives and cremini (a type of stuffed pasta) are well-made, but the pasta dishes are also delicious and well-balanced in flavor. The portions are just right, and the service time is reasonable. Prices are in line with the quality. In short: an elegant yet welcoming restaurant, ideal for families, where you can eat well and have a great time. Recommended

I'm not posting photos because you need your mouth to eat, and to understand what it's like in the shade of Del Pergolato, you have to be there. What I'm trying to say, though, is that Del Pergolato isn't just the last old trattoria and the only restaurant in Ascoli Piceno. It's simply a test! Take her to Pergolato. If she doesn't like it... Leave her alone immediately!

22/08/2025: The place has a very rustic feel, but the atmosphere is absolutely relaxed and family-friendly. The staff is very friendly with children, even putting on fun magic shows. The portions are super generous, but the sauce and pasta cooking aren't perfect. The prices are definitely fair.

Then comes the highlight: the Chateaubriand sliced ​​in the dining room before your eyes, a rare experience that makes the experience unforgettable. The renovated dining room is elegant, Graziano ensures attentive and friendly service, while Nazareno in the kitchen creates dishes of the highest caliber. Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in the region: a must-see!

28/08/2025: We went on a weekday and were the first ones there. We ordered two pizzas, and the first one arrived after half an hour, and the second after a quarter of an hour. So, not together. Plus, they were awful.

06/09/2025: I'm giving 5 stars only because I can't give more. We arrived on vacation last Saturday and stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We decided to stop in and had a mussel appetizer, two first courses, and a half-liter of wine, finishing with two coffees. Needless to say, everything was delicious, and the service was super friendly and impeccable. We tried other restaurants during the week, but we couldn't end our vacation without returning here. It's absolutely the best restaurant in the area. If you're passing through Grottammare, you can't miss it. We returned again today, Saturday, September 6th, having an appetizer, two gnocchi (DE LI ZIO YES!!) as a first course, and a perfectly fried calamari, prawns, and vegetables (especially because the vegetables and fish are fried separately, preserving their full flavor), finishing with a not-at-all heavy tiramisu. What can I say? One of the best restaurants and sublime service. The quality-price ratio was more than excellent for the size of the portions served and the number of dishes ordered. The bill was significantly less than we expected. If we ever come back to Grottammare it will be our first stop.

15/08/2025: The villa's parking lot is frequented by criminals who break car windows to steal their contents. It happened during a wedding in broad daylight. I wasn't the only one to suffer damage that day. It's happened several times before. The owners are aware of it. The parking lot isn't monitored by video surveillance, despite the presence of a camera that, apparently, everyone knows is turned off... It's scandalous that no action is being taken in the face of a pattern that's now well-known in the area.

A first course, a second course, dessert, coffee, and only drinking water are €30. TODAY WE BACK. WE ONLY HAD A HOT APPETIZER (GRATINATED VEGETABLES AND OFfal). A FIRST COURSE, A MAIN COURSE, DESSERT, AND COFFEE are €35. ONLY DRINKING WATER. WHY IS THAT STRANGE? AND NO SWEETS WITH COFFEE.
