01/02/2026: I was looking for a place to eat and happened to see this place. At first glance, it looked like a typical restaurant in the historic center. It was very welcoming and "historical," perfect for my tastes. The wait staff were polite and kind, and the food was truly, truly good. I would highly recommend it to my friends visiting Ascoli Piceno. The price was reasonable for everything... two generous first courses, ravioli incaciati and a gricia, a mixed grill (pictured), a lamb chop, two liters of water, a coffee, and a cover charge, only €50. Honestly, I expected something more.

09/01/2026: Very welcoming place both in terms of staff and food cooked and prepared according to local tradition. Dogs are allowed, fair prices in the average, panoramic view of the bridge... I highly recommend it, thanks

People who can make simplicity unique and wonderful. The "little dinner," as they call it, is truly a delightful experience. The prices are fair and the ingredients are excellent. 26/11/2025: The coffee is good, the sweets need searching, the atmosphere is poor, the staff is very smiling and helpful.

20/09/2025: Nice place near the sea, excellent cuisine, only thing is the small rooms and no air conditioning.

25/08/2025: The hotel is average; it's clearly dated, but functional. The staff is very friendly. The shower in the room is very small. The breakfast is very basic, with the option of a savory breakfast.

30/12/2025: We return every time we're in the area. The food is truly excellent. Homemade bread, tasty appetizers that change seasonally. Excellent and attentive service. I recommend booking on weekends. Ample parking. Recommended for celiacs.

02/01/2026: The food is so good! We had a delicious tasting of appetizers and a first course with scorpion fish and almonds. Everything was delicious. The place is delightful in its simplicity, the way they managed the high ceilings is exceptional, and the sound-absorbing panels are a great idea. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the owners are EXCELLENT, very kind, and attentive. The wine list is good, but I recommend browsing the shelves because there are many interesting labels not on the printed menu. The fish tripe was perfect for mopping up the sauce and the apple tarte tatin was heartwarming.

08/10/2025: If you want a real sandwich, you have to eat it here... I'll just tell you this... a crunchy sandwich and not the usual brioche that they give out around.

14/09/2025: Very nice place, although the nearby viaduct and the houses under construction next door take away a bit of the poetry. What can I say... I probably made a mistake with the selection of appetizers because they're like so many coitus interruptus 😄: you try a product, think it's good, start to enjoy it, but it's already gone because it's just a bite when I'd like to stuff myself. I definitely don't think it's for you if you want to try typical Marche cuisine, a bit rustic, with a strong emphasis on first courses and meats. They're all tastings somewhere between creative and DOP. I ordered tagliolini with lemon and sausage because I was hungry, and honestly, they only tasted of... oil; I was expecting something more flavorful. Another thing: I didn't like the oil they use on the toasted bread. I repeat, the place is very nice; there's usually no buzz, people speak quietly at the tables, the service is fast, and the wine list is excellent; they have some very good bottled wines. But I don't think I'll go back, I have more "villager" tastes 😄.

16/09/2025: Mamma mia, what a place 💥 I love the fact that I can make customers feel welcome and comfortable, not with people who are snobbish. I have lunch there every time I return to San Benedetto. The sandwiches are delicious (you can tell if the tuna is fresh, and here it is). And the fried food is cooked well, too, without leaving any oil on the plate. The staff is kind and helpful. It's always crowded, but that's normal. Where the food is good, you come back. "Would you come back?" "Of course!!" Stay like this, please 🙏🏻
