09/05/2026: Stepping into another time, that's the feeling I had when I walked in here. The pastrami was superb, both on the sandwich and on the bruschetta. This is the second time I've been here with my boys. Of course, there will be a third.

18/02/2026: If you're looking for a place to eat well without spending a fortune, Il Relitto is a must-visit in San Benedetto del Tronto. The strong point is undoubtedly the quality-price ratio, which is truly hard to beat in the area: generous portions, fresh ingredients, and carefully prepared dishes, all at more than fair prices. The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, ideal for both a dinner with friends and a relaxing evening by the sea. A special mention goes to the owner, Alfredo, always present, kind, and professional: he knows how to put guests at ease and helps create a family atmosphere that makes them want to return. A sincere place, where you eat well, spend a fair amount, and always feel welcome. Highly recommended.

28/03/2026: I spoke with two ladies. One was very kind and willing to explain to me how the collaboration would work. However, the other was rude and abrupt and was surprised that I had no previous experience in service while the ad said no previous experience. In fact, she spoke to me in a derogatory tone, and with questions like "what am I doing here?" Also, while I was talking to the other lady, she was sitting next to me with an ironic attitude. And all this with the first acquaintance. Nothing was mentioned about salaries, on the contrary they asked me how much I get at my other job, completely unprofessional. Being a working student, working since 18, looking to find another job while working at the same time and receiving such treatment, the least I can say is that this is a negative experience.

03/06/2026: Nice atmosphere, but lackluster service. When asked for a list of croissant flavors, the waitress told me to go inside and ask the person behind the counter, not knowing which flavors were left (it's perfectly normal to sit outside for breakfast and be told to get up, go inside, and ask, what's wrong with you? Stay outside). Furthermore, if you're not a local, the wait for a coffee sitting outside can be over 10 minutes, so much so that if I were returning home from vacation, I would have made and drunk it myself first.

17/05/2026: An inn that immediately strikes you; you find what you expect. From the outside, it also welcomes you with a medieval symphony, which, like everything else, is lost upon entering. You find yourself facing a main hall and adjacent to it a small, makeshift room where we were placed; there is neither music nor a theme. What was most disappointing, however, were the dishes. A very disappointing mixed fry, consisting mainly of zucchini, two olives, and two cremini mushrooms, not even of good quality; a tasteless sliced ​​steak, and quite undercooked in my opinion (not having requested it). From Ascoli, we certainly expect more. It's a real shame to see this potential wasted, but I'm sure it can be improved with a little forethought. We thank the staff for welcoming us with a smile and kindness. We didn't arrive with extremely high expectations, but we weren't that disappointed either.

07/05/2026: The atmosphere is unique because it's picturesque, but perhaps it's a bit too eccentric for me. Of course, that's the place's "signature." So you either like it or you don't. Food: gigantic portions (which is actually a good thing), but not knowing what it was (being used to Rome), I couldn't really appreciate the rest. The mixed fried fish was a bit disappointing: it was actually a lot of battered vegetables. It was good, but there were 2 olives and 2 cremini among 15 zucchini. The menu was a bit short: usually a good thing, but there wasn't much variety. Maybe they're more focused on pizzas? The service was okay, nothing exceptional, very informal. I was disappointed with the Sibillini steak, which was a bit dull.

The service is excellent; the staff are incredibly kind and attentive, and the owner is truly a wonderful person. And what about the food? Excellent!! 10/05/2026: The food impressed us in every way. The tagliata di tonno was divine, the frittura mista was crispy, fresh, and surprisingly light. The wine was a perfect match. The service was very friendly; we arrived late for lunch and were still served. The owner is a true host – warm, attentive, and incredibly personable.

06/04/2026: Even though it was Easter Monday, the owner managed to get us a lovely table in the sun with a sea view. The first courses were excellent, from the seafood spaghetti to the calamarata! The price was very fair!

08/12/2025: We went for lunch on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. The refuge is a welcoming gathering place next to a roaring fireplace, run by an all-female team, all fantastic. The cuisine is truly authentic and rooted in tradition, with generous portions to say the least. It's exactly the place you'd want to stop after a hike on one of the many trails nearby. It's our go-to place when we're in Ascoli Piceno. Long live the Rifugio Paci!

07/12/2025: Unacceptable experience. We had booked well in advance for eight people; three paying guests later joined, and despite numerous attempts to call to let them know, the restaurant never responded. Upon arrival, we showed up with a small, well-behaved dog—and this was in a restaurant where other dogs were clearly allowed. The staff's reaction was immediately hostile and unreasonable: they yelled at us that the dog was "not allowed," with no willingness to engage in discussion or inconsistency with what was already happening in the restaurant. The attitude was totally unprofessional, rude, and lacking any attention to the customer. They ruined the lunch of a group of ten, demonstrating poor management skills and a clear disregard for the quality of service. Absolutely not recommended.

25/04/2026: We've been here several times and found it to be good. Today, April 25th, we had a long wait, mistakes in our orders, and they brought extra dishes we didn't ask for. There were supposed to be four of us, but there were three of us. They always bring the cold cuts and bruschetta at the beginning, but since we didn't want them, we sent them back. I only had a glass of wine, and for the rest, only water. We spent €40 each, an exorbitant amount compared to what we ordered. Either we paid for four anyway, with the ghost, or we paid for the appetizer in full and the other courses we didn't ask for and were sent back. We didn't have coffee or an after-dinner drink. I don't think we'll be back.

21/05/2026: The young management is interesting and attentive. The staff is courteous, and the selection isn't huge, but it's thoughtful and varied. We went with our three-year-old daughter, who enjoyed everything we ordered and was treated with kindness and care. It's not always easy to find a welcoming atmosphere for little ones in dining establishments, especially in places that don't have a lot of space. The only downside, if I may say so, is that there are no tables inside, but since it's a more seasonal establishment, I imagine, that problem is self-evident. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area.

07/05/2026: We had dinner on a Saturday evening at this wonderful little place. The restaurant is located in a small square near the tourist hub, but it's well-sheltered, giving diners privacy and a lovely atmosphere. We had reservations for dinner with four friends. Once we arrived, we enjoyed a fantastic steak tartare accompanied by a pickled vegetable salad that also included apple. Very good. We then tried an excellent parmigiana and Ascoli olives. All washed down with a bottle of Rosé. For dessert, we were recommended a coconut and pistachio cheesecake. I found both unique and delicious. The owner accompanied us through dinner, explaining and recommending wines. He also let me try the sailor's coffee. You could see he puts passion and love into his work. Good prices and very friendly staff. We had a wonderful time. I recommend it and will definitely return.

16/05/2026: This is also a historic café that lives off its reputation.....it's leaky everywhere and now they've even changed the coffee brand. It used to be very good, now it's disgusting and watery. I'm someone who drinks coffee without sugar. The extremely slow service makes you think about getting up and leaving because of the long wait. 🤦🤦
