10/05/2026: Unfortunately, compared to my rating from 7 years ago, I have to take away at least 2 stars. The products are still as excellent as they were back then, and the quality of the pastries and cakes is fortunately still high. However, when the staff is visibly unfriendly and unprofessional (especially when there are children who unfortunately have disabilities and perhaps take that extra minute to choose what they want), the quality takes a back seat, and I'll be going elsewhere for a snack for a while. The staff (at least the afternoon staff, especially the lady) needs to be reconsidered.

06/05/2026: I'll start this review with their products: I find both the ice cream and the pastries very good and well-presented. The quality is evident, which is why we visit this place regularly, especially in the warmer months. Prices are average for the area. The spaces are very tidy and clean. The only downside is that some of the inside tables are far too close to the counter; when there's a lot of people in line, you almost risk someone sitting at the table. The staff also needs some work. Over the past year, there must have been some turnover and/or a reduction in staff; all of this has led to slow service and sometimes poor quality preparations. Last summer, there were some highly trained girls behind the counter and everything was always perfect. That's not the case today, so get a move on and hire qualified people and make sure they stay!

03/06/2026: Nice atmosphere, but lackluster service. When asked for a list of croissant flavors, the waitress told me to go inside and ask the person behind the counter, not knowing which flavors were left (it's perfectly normal to sit outside for breakfast and be told to get up, go inside, and ask, what's wrong with you? Stay outside). Furthermore, if you're not a local, the wait for a coffee sitting outside can be over 10 minutes, so much so that if I were returning home from vacation, I would have made and drunk it myself first.

16/05/2026: This is also a historic café that lives off its reputation.....it's leaky everywhere and now they've even changed the coffee brand. It used to be very good, now it's disgusting and watery. I'm someone who drinks coffee without sugar. The extremely slow service makes you think about getting up and leaving because of the long wait. 🤦🤦

26/06/2026: I've been going to Lo Scoglio for years. The location is very charming, the food excellent. The owner, a culinary and seafood expert, is passionate about his work, and this shows in the quality of the food. I always order the raw fish with great confidence. I consider Lo Scoglio the best restaurant in the area.

18/02/2026: If you're looking for a place to eat well without spending a fortune, Il Relitto is a must-visit in San Benedetto del Tronto. The strong point is undoubtedly the quality-price ratio, which is truly hard to beat in the area: generous portions, fresh ingredients, and carefully prepared dishes, all at more than fair prices. The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, ideal for both a dinner with friends and a relaxing evening by the sea. A special mention goes to the owner, Alfredo, always present, kind, and professional: he knows how to put guests at ease and helps create a family atmosphere that makes them want to return. A sincere place, where you eat well, spend a fair amount, and always feel welcome. Highly recommended.

07/06/2026: During our visit, we ordered an octopus dish, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. When served, the octopus didn't appear fresh and had a strong, unpleasant fishy odor. Furthermore, the dish was extremely salty and therefore unpleasant to eat. We therefore refused the dish and returned it. Instead of offering a suitable solution, we were told that the octopus needed to be "cooked more." For us, this didn't address the issue of freshness and quality. My wife also received a dish with mozzarella that, in our opinion, wasn't fresh. What immediately struck us was the manner in which it was served: the dish was rudely thrown onto the table, with a fork already stuck in the mozzarella. We found this behavior very disrespectful, strange, and unprofessional. Furthermore, the mozzarella didn't taste fresh. In the end, we didn't have to pay for the octopus dish, which was handled correctly. However, this doesn't change our overall impression of the restaurant. Both the quality of the food and the way our complaints were handled did not meet the expectations one might have from a restaurant. Our advice: avoid this restaurant. In our experience, insufficient attention is paid to the quality and freshness of the products and there is a lack of respect for the customer. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant. 02/07/2026: I ordered two croissants, one with cream and one with chocolate. The cream one was just adequate, but with a paltry amount of cream for a price of €1.80. The chocolate croissant, on the other hand, was a total disappointment: the dough was chewy and heavy, with virtually no filling. Inside, there was only a very light brushing of "chocolate," which also had a bitter and slightly acidic flavor, far from a normal hazelnut cream. After eating half of it, I even had a heartburn. I understand the price increase, but €1.80 for such a product is hard to justify. I hope it was just an isolated incident, but my experience was decidedly negative.

14/06/2026: For being on the San Benedetto seafront and therefore touristy, I appreciated it. Full glasses, generous portions, and good quality fish (I ate that), mixed fish appetizer, spaghetti with clams, seafood salad, etc. The owners were kind and particularly helpful. Beautiful and overlooking the sea. Large table and comfortable seating. Average prices. So all in all, an enjoyable experience.

02/07/2026: Excellent experience. My son and I chose à la carte. The starters and grilled meats were very good. Among the side dishes, we really enjoyed the French fries. Excellent value for money.

29/05/2026: Two of us had lunch. We arrived without a reservation, but on a weekday, with plenty of tables clearly available. The time was absolutely within the time limit (12:30-1:00 PM). The waitress greeted us with annoyance. She pointed us to a small table in the corner, didn't give us a menu, and told us we could only order penne "alla norcina" or a turkey cutlet. "Reluctantly," we ordered two cutlets. We were surprised by such a limited selection, and were confirmed when we saw different dishes arriving at the neighboring tables. We asked another waitress for an explanation, who apologized and told us we could order something else, and would put a stop to the two cutlets. While we were looking at the menu, two slices of grilled chicken breast arrived at our table!!! We looked at the waitress in amazement... she said it was a mistake, apologized, and left. After 5 minutes, she came back with 2 cutlets before we'd even ordered anything else! We ate quickly because the place was very noisy and unkempt. We paid and left without even getting our coffee.

11/09/2025: For a few weeks now, it's become our favorite Wednesday restaurant. Excellent service and delicious food. Short wait times and reasonable prices. We recommend the boccolotti with ribs.

07/09/2025: I discovered this restaurant by chance, as it's a trattoria with limited seating (you ALWAYS need to reserve). Some details are surprising, starting with the superlative welcome from the owner and the lady who manages the tables, and then the sheer disbelief when you realize how, with such a miniaturized cooking station, the owner manages to cook (perfectly) all the meat dishes served in the restaurant. It's a charming and very informal atmosphere, with outdoor tables when the weather permits, and indoors in the winter. And what about the good food? All I can say is...try it and believe it!

27/07/2026: A great place for an aperitivo with your partner or friends. The drinks selection is basic but satisfying. As for the food, while excellent, the selection is truly limited. Excellent service. Overall, highly recommended.

15/06/2026: Beautiful place, refined atmosphere, and knowledgeable staff. But what really won me over were the burgers—finally, real burgers. Juicy meat, firm bun, quality ingredients: one of those that stays in your memory and makes you want to return. Excellent beer selection, too. Highly recommended!

29/05/2026: I returned after they reopened, and I must say they've managed to improve on what was already good: the service is excellent, and so is the mascot who roams the tables. It's always very busy, so reservations are a must.
