I migliori ristoranti di cucina italiana in Varese

25/05/2025: I can only review the summer part that is located on the lakefront of Varese (Gavirate) that I recently discovered and visited 3 times already, a well-kept place with a private structure for children to play. Small cutting board served with the aperitif while the lunch menu is equally varied and good. Average prices, vegan hamburgers and schiacciata very good and also the pasta with ragù (even if 13 euros is a bit too much). Very good cocktails and helpful staff, we will definitely return during the summer period.

12/05/2025: Waited 15 minutes without anybody noticing me, one staff person and usually the place is full in the morning, if you’re not a regular, I would choose another place.

19/01/2025: Excellent pastry shop with very fresh and excellent quality products. The very friendly owner is ready to satisfy requests with proposals and suggestions.

22/05/2025: Compared to when I used to come, the place has gotten much worse, very slow service, pure disorganization, we were put at a table near the door, but starting to serve the pizzas from the oven area, we only got the dog's leftovers when things went well... it's not possible to eat 3 slices of pizza in one evening in a pizza tour...

01/05/2025: Per bere qualcosa come una limonata o una birra/spritz è ok! Ma sulla cucina e servizio ai tavoli sembra non ci sia interesse. Cameriera in giornata no! e attese lunghe per un panino e birra (con affluenza scarsa e tavoli vuoti). In piazza c'era la fila x entrare nei locali e menu più invitanti. Peccato...

10/05/2025: We returned to this place after the renovation, but the environment, now smaller and a bit chaotic, disappointed us. However, we appreciated the table service, which was kind and attentive. The pizza options left us perplexed: many are decidedly alternatives - such as those with tartare, polenta or pieces of wild boar - which in our opinion distort the essence of pizza a bit. We understand that some may appreciate them, but perhaps it would be useful to also expand the offer of more traditional flavours. Our pizzas were decent, but not excellent. We had thought about organizing a celebration with friends here, but the experience didn't convince us and we will probably change our mind. In the past we had recommended it to others, now we would not do so with the same certainty.

27/03/2025: Che brutto vedere un locale gestito da piacevolissime e capaci imprenditrici, che ha un crollo del genere. Nell'ambito di un lavoro durato mesi abbiamo frequentato questo locale molto spesso, piatti sempre accattivanti, variegati e di qualità ad un prezzo congruo. Oggi eravamo a Varese ed e' stato inevitabile tornare li a pranzo...prima sorpresa locale semivuoto alle 13, una volta dovevi attendere che si liberassero i tavoli....nessun menu con i prezzi ma una delle proprietarie che ti racconta il menu del giorno...e proprio ti racconta perché sul pollo" ruspante " esagera un po' troppo, prima nel lodarlo e poi nel conto. Pochissima scelta nei primi al punto che ho chiesto delle orecchiette e mi hanno portato delle tagliatelle che evidentemente hanno cotto insieme a quelle del mio commensale. (Tra l'altro sono le 20,16 e non le ho ancora digerite) . Ci sarebbe molto altro da,aggiungere ma non voglio tediare nessuno, mi limito a dire che il ricordo era quello di un eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo, oggi lo ritengo pessimo , 81 Euro 2 primi e 2 polli "nostrani" con purè un acqua e due calici venduti come "riserva". Il tutto su un tavolino con tovaglie di carta ....oggi il prezzo corretto poteva collocarsi tra i 23/ 25 euro i 40 euro a testa sono stati veramente assurdo anche perche' la qualità di cio' che abbiamo mangiato e bevuto era davvero mediocre. Consiglio di farsi dare il menu con i prezzi prima di ordinare. Per quanto ci riguarda non ci vedranno mai più...peccato

22/03/2025: Today we were in this Bistrot. We were pampered and spoiled by both Mrs. Manu and Marina. We had the opportunity to taste expertly cooked dishes, including homemade gnocchi with ragù, crespelle with ricotta, cod with fresh vegetables in a yogurt sauce and an excellent chicken leg on a bed of vegetables. To finish, strawberry and raspberry tart with cream and cake with pears and chocolate. Convenient for parking and a stone's throw from the historic center. It is worth marking it in your favorites and returning when you are in the area. Too bad they are closed in the evening.

14/05/2025: Typical pub atmosphere, very welcoming. Friendly and professional staff. We tried the aperitif and the beers... excellent. I recommend it for an informal evening with friends

19/10/2024: Very friendly staff, slightly long waiting times. Very negative note: everywhere outside there are "no smoking" signs, but both at the tables and near the entrance door, many customers smoke and no one intervenes.
