09/08/2024: Outdoors, on the recently inaugurated balcony, enjoying the fresh air, admiring the view and eating an exquisite taragna polenta with porcini mushrooms, and finally a delicious tiramisu. Very fast and friendly service. Highly recommended.

07/08/2024: Everything perfect...you can't find many restaurants like this in Valmalenco/and in the lower Valtellina...excellent and quality food, very varied menu with fish (trout) and traditional recipes too...a nice 10 per cent everyone...

15/07/2024: Abbiamo trascorso il weekend nell'Hotel Sassella e cenato due sere al ristorante Jim, personale professionale e pronto a soddisfare ogni tua esigenza. L'Hotel offre un centro benessere con vasca idromassaggio e tre tipi di saune tutto molto pulito ed accogliente. Il ristorante Jim è stato una sorpresa per la qualità dei piatti e del buon vino, personale di servizio ai tavoli molto competente complimenti a tutto lo staff. Torneremo sicuramente. Grazie di tutto.

09/07/2024: Locale raffinato dalle pietanze uniche nel suo genere. Qui ho mangiato dei pizzoccheri eccezionali. Affettati misti buoni e formaggi genuini. Il tutto accompagnato da un vino molto buono. Prezzi assolutamente competitivi. Se dovessi ripassare da queste parti ritornerei in questo ristorante senza ombra di dubbio. 15/08/2024: Siamo finiti in questo ristorante sotto consiglio di amici e possiamo solo che ringraziarli! Abbiamo apprezzato tutto soprattutto gli Sciatt, la focaccia con il lardo e la polenta con il salmì di capriolo. Cibo ottimo, ambiente molto carino e servizio gradevole. Prezzo giusto.

20/08/2024: For my first time in Chiavenna, I had lunch in this bar in the historic center where you can sit both inside and outside where there are some tables in Piazza Bertacchi in front of the Municipality headquarters. I ate the white pizzoccheri from Chiavenna (see photo) which I personally didn't know before today and I found them very good! Right portion for me and good price. If I pass through Chiavenna again in the future, I will definitely eat here again!

19/08/2024: Aperitif with 2 Hugos made really well with lots of much appreciated fresh mint, accompanied by good appetizers and not just simple chips, served by the smile and friendliness of the waitress! In the center of Chiavenna where I will gladly return! At a very honest price!

13/08/2024: The place is exceptional, the food is excellent, there is attention to detail and care in everything. Not to mention that the owner Olmo is a golden person, who has created an empire from nothing with commitment and dedication, in defiance of those who say that young people don't want to work. He is an example for all of us. I highly respect him as a person and as a worker, and he has poured these qualities into the restaurant, offering refined dishes and combinations that are not at all obvious, such as blueberry beer for example. Excellent, like everything else!

20/05/2024: We went on a Sunday and even though we had no reservation and the restaurant was full ,Micchaela was extremely friendly and arranged a table for us. Followed her suggestions for food and we were impressed with the quality and presentation of the dishes. Amazing wine list with mainly Valtellina wines from different producers. "Noblesse oblige" we have chosen a Mamete Prevostini Riserva 2019 which was delicious as expected ,served in Zalto glasses. Strongly recommended should you wish to try comfort mountain food with that special touch. Unforgettable experience.

19/08/2024: Nice and unique place. Maybe it's good for pizza. The outdoor part is on the road and therefore, in addition to the noise, also the exhaust fumes. If you want to eat typical Valtellina food, I didn't find it well. Starter with cold cuts, 4 sciatt, two slices of cheese and vegetables for 18 euros seems like a lot to me. The pizzoccheri are the worst I have ever eaten, semi-cooked potatoes, very few vegetables, the two I found crunched.

Breakfast could be improved in quality and choice, we had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was an extraordinary experience, we had a package that included a typical Valtellina dinner: sciatt with bresaola, pizzoccheri, veal cheek and braulio semifreddo.

26/08/2024: Abbiamo pranzato, come tutti gli anni, con due bambini e un cane di grossa taglia. Accoglienza iniziale forse un pó fredda rispetto ad altre volte ma il cibo ripaga tutto! Pizzoccheri, sciatt e bistecchine di cervo SUPERLATIVE! Tutto davvero di OTTIMA QUALITÁ, porzioni abbondanti! Sempre il top!
