18/08/2025: We went to La Tresenda for the alpaca and llama experience, the animal visit, and finally for an excellent lunch. The food was truly delicious, the experience was delightful, the place was super clean and truly beautiful; the man who takes care of the animals and the visits is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and courteous, as is the rest of the staff. When we return to Livigno, we will definitely visit them again.

12/08/2025: This pastry shop is just outside the city center. It's very good, with unique, eye-catching products that are also very good. Excellent.

16/08/2025: We decided to have lunch there for lunch on August 15th. Quick lunch, appetizer "Le delizie di San Pietro" good but small quantities. The pizzoccheri excellent, fine flavor, light and well balanced, worth the trip 😋. Clean place, service could be improved. Quality/price still honest 👍🏽.

14/08/2025: My mother and I stopped for lunch to have sushi, as it's the only restaurant in Livigno that offers it on the menu. The waitresses were incredibly welcoming, and the food was impeccable. We've never had sushi this good in our entire lives. We'll definitely be back.

29/08/2025: Everything was good, the prices were those of a restaurant, not a mountain hut (and I'm used to the prices in Milan and the surrounding area), but a mixed cold cuts/cheese platter for 3 people at €33 seems excessive to me.

26/08/2025: Very nice location, overlooking the reservoir. However, the service was very slow. We wanted a large cheese platter, as we're vegetarians, but we ended up with four small pieces of cheese and very dry bread, for which we paid €16. Unfortunately, the prices aren't listed anywhere.

24/07/2025: Great place with delicious food! In winter, you're right on the slopes, and in summer, you can enjoy wonderful hiking and mountain biking in the surrounding area.

17/07/2025: I didn't see the rooms; I spent the day working from home. Beautiful place, fresh air, and I ate well. It's listed as a 20-minute walk from Bormio 2000, but I think 30 minutes is more reasonable. Cars can't get there, which is a plus for those who want to walk. For those who struggle with uphill climbs, it can be reached even without a 4x4.

22/08/2025: This is my third time in Codera. Last time, I had a great meal at the Locanda at the entrance to the village. This time, we tried the Osteria Alpina. Two plates of chestnut flour ravioli, filled with I-don't-remember-what with chestnuts, drizzled with well-toasted melted butter and plenty of Parmesan: delicious! Next, a sharing platter of mixed cheeses for two, somewhere between savory and spicy, accompanied by four types of native tomatoes from the garden in front of the inn: sorry for the Dutch, but their ramati tomatoes can't be called tomatoes at this point... A sbrisolona filled with blueberry compote: nothing like the Mantuan sbrisolona; this one is thicker, softer, and less sweet. A chocolate and chestnut tart, accompanied by excellent whipped cream. Two large espressos (the cups were really large, and the espressos really long, just what was needed to help the dessert slide down the sides). Two bottles of water, a quart of excellent, "slippery" wine: it slid away in a flash! €56. Cracco, I'm sorry, but the local chef(s) (Elena, the one who made the sbrisolona, ​​I don't know if there were other chefs) give you points. They offered us their kindness for free. They accept cards and even Satispay... they're ahead of the game!

04/09/2024: The Alpe hut is a small jewel located along the road to the Gavia pass. Located at 2239m above sea level, it is a small mountain hut where you can find simple and genuine cuisine. The environment is warm, very welcoming and the owners extremely kind. You will find excellent cheeses they produce as well as other products (especially jams). A stop is highly recommended even just for a delicious tart snack.

01/09/2024: ...fourth time in the summer...once on a MTB/E once on foot from Sunny Valley, once on foot and once on a motorbike...a certainty for a sublime and particular lunch stop...reservation required for me I recommend 👍🏻😉🍻

21/08/2025: Amazing night. Every dish was perfectly made. The waitress was super sweet. I would recommend it for everyone. We had antipasti, primeri, secondo, dolce, coffee, wine and water for 32€ Vegetarian options too :)

15/08/2025: I'll be back! My family and I chose this place for lunch on August 15th. The place is clean and tidy, with a panoramic view. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is exceptional, everything is really good! There's not much parking.

21/08/2025: A fresh, airy, and clean atmosphere, a bright veranda with a spectacular view, friendly and fast staff, and traditional Valtellina dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. Highly recommended!

21/08/2025: On a Saturday motorcycle ride with friends, we were recommended lunch at this newly managed restaurant. What can I say? We had a wonderful time. The veranda has a spectacular view. The typical Valtellina dishes are truly excellent. Monica is a delightful person and an excellent host. Compliments to the entire staff. We highly recommend stopping by; you won't be disappointed. :-)

On a Livigno scale – the food is delicious! Each dish is refined, with fresh ingredients and flavors that stay in your memory. I wholeheartedly recommend it, a good place for a relaxing evening.

20/07/2025: 20 luglio 2025 Questa mattina, intorno alle 8, mi sono seduto al tavolo esterno del bar per fare colazione e acquistare un pacchetto di sigarette. Purtroppo l’esperienza è stata pessima. Dopo qualche minuto è uscita una dipendente – una ragazza tra i 20 e i 25 anni, alta circa 1 metro e 60, capelli castano chiaro di media lunghezza legati – che mi ha detto “arrivo subito”, salvo poi tornare dopo un’attesa prolungata con un atteggiamento strafottente. Le ho chiesto gentilmente un caffè e le sigarette, ma ha sogghignato rispondendo che “forse non poteva portare le sigarette fuori”. Le ho detto che le avrei pagate subito e che poteva portarmi il resto insieme all’ordine, ma ha risposto in modo ancora più acido e sgarbato. A quel punto le ho fatto notare, con sarcasmo, quanto fosse simpatica, e le ho detto che sarei andato da un’altra parte. Lei ha replicato subito: “Allora vai.” E così ho fatto, ma non prima di mandarla a quel paese, esasperato dalla totale mancanza di rispetto. Un comportamento simile, soprattutto a quell’ora del mattino, è inaccettabile. Non tornerò mai più. This morning around 8 a.m., I sat at one of the outdoor tables to have breakfast and buy a pack of cigarettes. Unfortunately, the experience was awful. After a few minutes, a staff member came out — a young woman between 20 and 25 years old, about 1.60 meters tall, with medium-length light brown hair tied back — and said “I’ll be right with you,” but didn’t return for a while. When she finally did, her attitude was smug and dismissive. I politely asked for a coffee and a pack of cigarettes, but she smirked and said she “probably couldn’t bring cigarettes outside.” I told her I could pay immediately and she could bring me the change with the rest of the order, but her reply was even more acidic and rude. I sarcastically commented on how “friendly” she was and said I’d go somewhere else. Her only response: “Then go.” So I did — but not before expressing exactly how I felt about her attitude. Such disrespectful behavior, especially first thing in the morning, is completely unacceptable. I will never return.
