A lovely hotel ☺️ we'll be back again this year 🥰

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for two months because I had to stay in the area for work. The property is in an elevated position with a view of Lake Mezzola and the mountains. Breathtaking. The rooms are clean and welcoming; some (those with a lake view) are truly stunning. The restaurant and chef are an added bonus; everything is top-quality, with the freshest fish and superb pizzas. A special thanks to all the staff, reception and waiters, who made me feel at home for this long stay. Highly recommended.

The rooms with balconies offer a magnificent view of the lake. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The receptionist spoke both English and German and was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff seemed a bit impersonal. They just did their job, and that was it. We booked half-board (€35 extra), which wasn't really necessary. Instead of the usual set menu for half-board, we were given the restaurant's à la carte menu to choose from. The prices are reasonable, so you usually don't end up spending the full half-board amount.

Our wedding was 15 years ago, our baptism 11 years ago, and this year our confirmation. Hotel Saligari is a guarantee for our family's big events. Wonderful location, attentive and delicious food, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended 💯👏

My impressions of the hotel are very mixed. Many things are good, but others aren't so good. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast team, in particular, is fantastic. The rooms are good, but not spacious. What bothered us most were the numerous, very irritating little flies everywhere. You have a great view, but you have to close the curtains to keep the flies out. The food is excellent, and on Fridays there's a special seafood menu. It's difficult for the hotel to deal with flies in the rooms, but a "blue light" in the dining room would be helpful.

The hotel is nice, the view is stunning, and it's clear the owners are working hard. The plumbing is new, everything is spotlessly clean, the beds are comfortable, but there's one major drawback: the smell in the hotel and in the rooms. Apparently the building is old, and there's nothing they can do about it. They try to hide it by spraying fragrances everywhere, but unfortunately, it's still noticeable. And the breakfast 😖, everyone says it's excellent, but unfortunately, the bread is crawling with flies, and the pork and cheese are all there is. We were about to leave, but we decided to check with the service girl if that was all there was. She said yes, but she could also make an omelet. What if we hadn't asked? There were pastries, but again, they weren't fly-proof, and the same thing happened with the fruit.

The hotel is very charming and cozy, the rooms are clean, and it has everything you need. The breakfast was delicious, and the views are simply stunning. And, most importantly, it wasn’t crowded, and the area itself is quiet and beautiful. I’m so glad I chose this hotel.

Two fantastic days discovering new places. The hotel was spotless and the staff were kind and welcoming. They let us have dinner even though it was late, and they even made pizza for us. The room with a fantastic and enchanting lake view. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh cakes and all sorts of other delicacies, fruit, juices, yogurt... Highly recommended.

It was generally cozy, but the air conditioning didn't work. The breakfast buffet was very small, and it's just a small town. The people speak a little English, and while the suggested towns were nice, nothing was within walking distance.
