An elegant and refined restaurant/osteria in the center of Bormio, with a lovely terrace overlooking the main square. The appetizer is excellent, featuring chunks of cured meats that you slice yourself at the table. The tenderloin is flavorful and refined, arriving protected by a hood to preserve its cooking aroma until it's served. A slight digression on the tiramisu, which contains a hint of coffee and is so thick that it's served with a knife and fork, a dessert that, by definition, is a "spoon" dessert. Overall, the restaurant was very satisfying, and I highly recommend it.

We went to Osteria La Bajona in the historic center of Bormio to celebrate a birthday with my wife and mother-in-law. We ate very well, with both traditional dishes and more innovative options, all prepared with care and using quality ingredients. The service was attentive and very friendly. A truly enjoyable lunch, we'll be back!

The atmosphere is a bit too modern. Excellent location and service. Excellent pork. Definitely too expensive. 1 appetizer, 2 main courses (all meat), house wine, 2 coffees, and 1 amaro (lunch).

During our winter vacation, we stopped for lunch at this year's "osteria," and we had a wonderful time. The traditional Valtellina dishes are top-notch, the desserts superb, and to finish, they bring you a platter of chocolates. Everything was delicious; if you're planning on lunch, I recommend booking.

17/03/2026: A very pretty restaurant, rustic and with a very unique architecture. The service was excellent and the food was very well-prepared. There were four of us dining and we had no problems at all. Highly recommended! 🙏🏻 The only flaw, if you can call it that, is that some dishes require a minimum order of two people, so you have to agree on the order. I can understand the risottos, but perhaps I'd tweak the pizzoccheri a bit and offer the option of ordering individual portions.

23/03/2026: Ideally located in the heart of the pedestrian zone and practically ski-in/ski-out, spacious rooms, top-notch service! Special mention for the breakfast orchestrated by Simona, which is simply exceptional!
22/03/2026: We ate quite well but we took a beating with the wine, we spent a bit too much!!!
