Historic tavern located in Battella, a hamlet of Travacò Siccomario.
The environment is refined and welcoming at the same time.
The dishes are prepared with care and are very pleasant.
The cured meats are excellent.
The dining room staff is very kind and attentive to customers.
Excellent wine list, with many of the best cellars of the Oltrepò Pavese.
Excellent value for money.
The only flaw: the main room is a bit noisy if there are a lot of people.

Disappointed compared to the previous experience. The menu does not reflect the offer and the questionable quality. Little attention to the customer in the service. In Pavia there are far superior proposals at the same price.

True tavern where time has stopped from the furnishings, to the lighting, to the scent of burning wood. 5' from the center of Pavia and you enter another world, in the middle of the countryside. I recommend the mixed starters and the stir-fried rice. Very kind and friendly staff. Really honest prices, you can eat genuine food for €30/40. Advise.

Finalmente un buon ristorante dove ci ha portato l'amico Walter,stimato chirurgo dentistico in Pavia. Dopo diversi tentativi non proprio azzeccati l, ci ha portato in questa caratteristica osteria sotto argine. Antipasto misto davvero gustosissimo con l'aggiunta per me del loro rinomato risotto alla salto mentre Walter ha preso la zuppa di cavolo nero e un altro amico i ravioli d'oca. Piena soddisfazione per tutti anche per l'originale ra,zabaione in ceramica con cui viene proposto il vino. Prezzo assolutamente adeguato

In a welcoming environment, welcomed by friendly and professional staff, we start with the high quality starter, the coppery onions with excellent cured meats, "yay" with the first courses, homemade pasta with beans, rice in crust.
(sublime). How not to try the guinea fowl second course.
I recommend finishing with some cherries preserved in alcohol and you're done. 😂🥰😂🥰
Ps. I forgot one of the nicest things, drinking wine. Try to believe.

Sunday lunch with husband and 9 year old son: a huge success! Super courtesy and quality reign supreme at USTARIA DI GIUGATON. Mrs. Anna and her staff are really friendly and know how to use the right ways and words to welcome customers...really "smart"!! We ate a seasonal appetizer, braised ravioli and house risotto with bonarda and sausage... all super good. Even the child tasted and liked everything. Finally, 3 excellent desserts: chocolate heart cake, apple cake with ice cream and trifle. My husband enjoyed a "bowl" of Bonarda and concluded with coffee and bitters... we will be back soon!!!
