28/03/2026: The place is very quiet in the countryside, away from the chaos of the city. The food is very good, the price is reasonable for the service, and I've never had any problems with parking. If you go in the evening, I think you need to make a reservation. All in all, very good.

07/04/2026: Assuming I don't like writing negative reviews and that tastes are personal, I'm writing this review using only objective data to tell you about a TERRIBLE experience at this agriturismo for Easter Monday lunch. I'll only save the view from the dining room over the beautiful hills of the Oltrepò Pavese; otherwise, I'm sorry, but NCSP (Not There at All) for the menu, food, and service. Here's a list: - Most serious of all: there weren't enough appetizers for everyone, and the portions of those that did arrive for everyone could at least be reconsidered. Every restaurant serves more than the number of guests to accommodate second helpings or any unforeseen circumstances. Don't serve 11 portions of an appetizer because it's finished! This indicates, above all, DISORGANIZATION, but also a great deal of stinginess. - Good cured meats, but very few of them, and anemic fried gnocco, confirming a tendency toward stinginess. - Burnt mushroom pie, frankly inedible. - Lasagna as a first course. Even including lasagna with ragù on a farm's menu had left us perplexed, but we were ready to change our minds when faced with a well-made product. Instead, there was little ragù, plenty of béchamel, and a consistency you could drink through a straw. A 2. - Second course: Malfatti with mushrooms. Flavorless, no mushrooms at all. I tried hard to load them onto the trays during one of the interminable pauses between courses, but I just couldn't find any. - Second courses: Scallops with mushrooms were sour and floury, and tagliata that wasn't cut because the slices were really thin, further confirmation, if any, of the sordidness (I'm running out of synonyms). They were just strips. These, however, were decent. Final note: the service. Lunch lasted almost five hours, not because of the number of courses, but because of the extremely slow service, accompanied by dirty looks from one of the two waitresses even for the slightest request (like a slightly larger portion of Russian salad). And finally, the children's dishes arrived at almost 3:00 PM!!! With all the consequences that entails. Sorry, NCSP, but beware of positive reviews.

29/05/2026: My review will be different from the others, but I wanted to write one. Unfortunately, I didn't stay at this property because I was forced to cancel my reservation two days before my vacation. I booked through Booking.com, and just two days before my arrival, the reservation stipulated full payment for the stay in the event of cancellation. I contacted the property by phone, and they very kindly canceled the reservation with a 100% refund—and, I repeat, two days before my arrival. I'm deeply sorry I couldn't stay here; from my experience, I can see the kindness and professionalism of the people who run this beautiful agriturismo. I hope to be their guest soon.

24/05/2026: Positive experience. The photos are from this morning with the fireplace still lit (beautiful). I'd start from the beginning, though. We arrived yesterday afternoon after visiting the Certosa di Pavia (about an hour away on the main road). Is it worth it? I'd say yes. At reception, a lady greeted us and calmly explained the agriturismo to us and told us to wander around wherever we wanted to explore. I'd say it was a good suggestion. The pool (unfortunately, we forgot our swimsuits) is very nice, and some people even took a dip yesterday. There's a lovely park, and we saw where they keep the animals (geese and pigs). Overall, a lovely, relaxing experience despite the heat. Luckily, there were some benches (perhaps in need of some updating), but they did their job in the shade of the trees. The room was clean and tidy and was on two floors: the ground floor had a small living room and TV, with an adjoining bathroom with shower, a staircase, and an upper floor with an open-plan bathroom and bedroom. We dined there that evening. I believe it was a tasting menu. I'd say the quality of the food is beyond discussion; among the various tastings, the coppa was exceptional, and the first course with mushrooms was excellent. Unfortunately, I can't drink wine, but I could see the guests happily (lucky them) sipping and enjoying it. This morning, we had breakfast with a cappuccino (really good), but especially with the jams/compostellas (you can see the selection in one of the photos posted), which were described to us by a waiter and are all their own. I tried their cherry jam and blackberry compote on warm bread...to say they were both excellent is an understatement. The only downside I could find (though I still have to look for a needle in a haystack) was the parking. Here, too, like the parking lot near the Certosa di Pavia, gravel instead of asphalt. I don't know the results if it rains, but maybe I'm wrong. There are clearly visible signs where the management declines all responsibility for damage/theft to cars in their parking lots. In a context where we are surrounded by drones and cameras, perhaps 4 cameras, one per parking lot to monitor customers' cars, wouldn't be a bad investment (a small and impartial suggestion, debatable or not). Overall, a positive experience. Recommended.

29/05/2026: If you want to eat like at home, the chef Renata, 85 years old, is highly recommended. In addition to being an excellent cook, she is kind and welcoming. The place is simple.

15/05/2026: The rooms are beautiful and smell great. I was unlucky enough to sleep in a single bed, which was too small for me, being 1.80 m tall. The double rooms were sold out. The property overall is nice and recently renovated. In the four nights I stayed here, I never saw a smile from the staff.

08/05/2026: Terrible, I tried to book and they told me they don't have any room. I asked how far in advance I have to book and they told me they are always full all year round, basically they don't want us 🤌

17/03/2026: At 12:00, my elderly mother had to eat, and on the way home from the Maugeri Hospital in Pavia, I came across this osteria! I said, "It's all or nothing... let's go for it!" A simple place, but neat and clean. The lady who welcomed us was kind and helpful. The food was excellent, just like the old osterias of old! Everything was homemade. Ordered First course: tortelli with ragù sauce (I couldn't help but mop up the sauce with the sauce!) Milanese cutlet (lightly fried, not greasy), delicious, baked potatoes golden brown and flavorful, Spinach, oil, and lemon Housemade tiramisu (don't miss it, it was the best dessert I've ever had!) A quart of still red wine and sparkling water. To finish, 2 coffees, actually 3 because I accidentally spilled the first one😢 Fresh bread, crackers, and grated parmesan were also available! So, stop here. Spent €32 Finally, a place like it used to be. Thanks, and we'll be back soon.

15/12/2025: After finishing my shift at 9 a.m., I came to see what the famous roundabouts were like. Crowded, lots of stuff. Good drinks, special evening with Anna Pepe.

08/12/2025: An evening with Anna Pepe as a guest was anything but pleasant. The nightclub was full of people, most likely minors, with little attention to their personal hygiene, making the atmosphere even more unpleasant and awkward. I wouldn't recommend this nightclub to anyone who doesn't want to spend the evening with unruly children. As for the staff, they were professional.

13/05/2026: Extraordinary! We went for pizza, mixed fried fish, and fish dishes. There was a wide variety of delicious dishes (excellent portions), and special fish dishes, like the seafood salad or grilled fish. They were delicious! The presentation was also very well done. The service was quick, even though it was packed. I highly recommend it. The food was so friendly and wonderful!

25/05/2026: Although I gave a high score for the location, I had to give the service a one because zero is unacceptable. While it's not the waiters' fault, all but one of them were very inexperienced, I'd ask myself how to better organize the kitchen (we arrived at noon, and the appetizer was served at 1:00 PM—cold cuts and cold cuts—the first course at 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM, the main course at 4:00 PM, and the cake at 6:00 PM). The place was busy, but it could have been managed differently. Honorable mention goes to the owner, who, in a fit of rage, ruined the back of the birthday girl's cake (it was a communion) simply because it hadn't been made by them but ordered from a different pastry shop (to whom I must give my compliments, as it was truly delicious).
