17/09/2025: I won't go into the price (€6 for a plate filled with a selection of pre-made options), but I'd rather focus on the quality of the food. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The selection lacked balanced flavors and, in some cases, even adequate preparation. The salamella (or sausage) was tough and unpleasant, while the farinata was raw inside. Several dishes were dominated by pickled ingredients, resulting in overly acidic and flavorless flavor. The sweet and sour onion stew deserves a special mention: well-balanced and definitely the best dish of the selection. The risotto, which was included in the package, unfortunately proved inedible: overly sweet, overcooked, and dull in color (it should have been flavored with citrus and basil liqueur). This isn't simply a matter of personal taste—which can, of course, vary—but of a general lack of attention to the quality and edibility of the dishes. On a positive note, the evening concluded with a well-made cocktail. In short, an aperitif that left a bitter taste in the mouth.

20/09/2025: Fantastic location, we celebrated my daughter's confirmation, top service, excellent food quality, a true farmhouse with products from the farm. Excellent wine from the farm without limits, so even for the food they stopped by to ask who wanted more. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back. TOP

21/09/2025: We ordered a pizza with half fries and sausage and half mushrooms with parmesan shavings. Too bad the parmesan remained a mirage: not a single crumb was visible on the pizza. I called to report the mistake and, to make matters worse, I was told that the parmesan was actually there and that the girl on the phone had actually "seen" it with her own eyes. Fantastic: a pizza without parmesan, but with a magician's magic trick. Maybe next time we should order a pair of glasses with the pizza. If this is their idea of ​​customer service, we already had it last time. P.S.: As you can clearly see, the part with the mushrooms is actually burnt.

14/08/2025: An exceptional restaurant! A welcoming and familiar atmosphere, where you immediately feel at ease. The staff is always extremely kind, friendly, and attentive to your every need, making you feel truly at home. The food is simply spectacular, prepared with passion and attention to every detail. For my family and I, Il Mago is more than just a restaurant, it's a place we cherish: every time we return, it's like reuniting with old friends and enjoying the warmth of home. Highly recommended!

05/09/2025: Unfortunately, I can't give less than one star. I'm speechless about how ridiculous and superficial the "service" provided in the emergency room is. To say they don't know how to do their job is a compliment. They discharged an 86-year-old man in a state of confusion, and you let him out alone!! An 86-year-old man who waited all night after vomiting blood!! They sent him home with only an abdominal X-ray without contrast. And I should point out that he is also a cancer patient. Ridiculous as can be. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GOING TO THIS PLACE.

25/08/2025: We decided to visit Belgioso Castle as a couple, and booked this hotel. We weren't wrong. The rooms were comfortable and spotless. But what struck me most was the warm welcome from the owners and staff. Everyone was attentive to our well-being and made our short stay pleasant with kindness and affection. The cuisine was impeccable both at lunch and dinner, from appetizers to first courses, main courses, and pizzas, all with clearly top-quality ingredients. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

25/08/2025: We stayed in Belgioioso to visit the castle, and we chose Hotel Cavaliere, and we will definitely return. The name speaks for itself. The staff is helpful, the owners are friendly, and ready to offer excellent culinary recommendations. The food is first-rate. The pizzas feature unique and delicious combinations. The stay was extremely pleasant and enjoyable. The rooms were clean and tidy. See you soon.

17/08/2025: Well. The bruschetta we started with was just a sandwich. Unfortunately, the main course was served one after the other, so we couldn't eat it together. The pizza, pasta, and salad tasted okay.

26/04/2025: The environment is very nice, in Italian 60s style and this makes the place very welcoming. The sandwiches are tasty and "crispy", as the name of the place suggests. Good starters but perhaps the quantities could be improved considering the prices. Nice place for a quiet evening with friends or as a couple. Service ok.

26/04/2025: Honestly, quite a disappointing place, it looks like an excellent place with fried foods and foods that are not only local and from the surrounding area, but also of high quality. But after eating it I had to change my mind. Except for the enormous quantity of dishes on the menu that are not available (at 1pm you can't help but have more than 3 dishes available), paying 9 euros for a sandwich with a lettuce leaf, a slice of ham and 7 slices of sweet mustard (almost revolting given how sweet it was) together with 7 euros for 2 chips I think is bordering on a rip-off, to break a chord in their favor some dishes were truly incredible, like the fried fish and the salted caramel ice cream, but far too many dishes are not up to the price, especially the quantity, really scarce even if it were gourmet. I won't say anything about the sweet salami which was truly shameful (5 cm of salami with a diameter of half a centimeter, hot and buttery all for 5 euros). Almost poor but lots of room for improvement, I recommend reviewing the portions and proportions of the ingredients in the dishes as the quality of them is very high, but poorly used.

10/08/2025: Bad experience. We booked Saturday, August 9th at 8:30 PM, table 47 for 4. We got off to a bad start when we asked to move our table from the children's area. The response was that there were only a few children today. When we took our orders, the waiter who had been waiting for two main courses today left. We ordered pizzas at 8:35 PM. At 9:20 PM, I called another waiter and the owner. I asked how our pizzas were going. The owner replied in an annoyed tone that they would arrive. The pizzas arrived at 9:40 PM. They were good, but made in a rush. When it came time to pay, the owner rudely told me the price without even apologizing or offering a drop of bitter for the inconvenience. When I pointed out that he could at least bring some chips or something else, he said goodbye. He said if I don't want to wait, come during the week... they've gotten the wrong dishes at the table next to ours twice.

06/07/2025: We came to eat at this restaurant recently, having already been there I had high expectations that unfortunately were not exceeded. I will start by saying that when I came to eat it was already summer and I ate upstairs with a view of the pool while this time downstairs. The service was very slow we waited after almost an hour for the pizzas, even though it was not yet hot inside it was cold. The pizza was nothing special, small and dry, it did not fill me up. A coffee was a mistake, realizing only once we had drunk it that instead of being barley it was normal. Near our table there was the play area for children, very noisy for the whole evening. I do not recommend it.
