21/03/2025: The place with all the windows overlooking the Duomo is beautiful and welcoming. I returned after months and I found it improved: new, kinder staff, quick service and everything cleaner and tidier. Desserts and coffee always delicious. I usually go for dessert during my lunch break, one of the less crowded moments when it's very quiet.

18/02/2025: Very modern place, fair prices for a chocolate shop there is always a bit of a wait before you sit down but the wait is really worth it, every time I come to Pavia I always go there to taste a new dessert

23/01/2025: First time I go there, beautiful location, very formal staff but with a touch of humor that doesn't hurt. Never intrusive in serving, the radicchio risotto is really good like my tagliatelle with three peppers. The pork leaves something to be desired, even in presentation, a little dry but overall edible. The owner is very kind, we'll be back anyway!! Good value for money overall

02/03/2025: Cibo abbondante eccessivamente (nauseante) e non curato, il fritto cucinato sicuramente in olio vecchio, i ravioli (bottoni) inzuppati in condimento non definito, la verdura sicuramente surgelata, i dolci nauseanti e accostati con ingredienti a caso. Locale molto chiassoso. Non lo consiglio.

23/03/2025: Traditional pizza too dry. Broccoli on pizza only boiled and a bit hard, tasteless. Friendly staff. Fast service.

16/03/2025: Pizzeria with gluten-free flour. Honestly, I didn't like it that much: the pasta was too biscuity. I don't know if it's often from cooking but without exaggerating, the one I buy frozen is softer! The desserts are good though.

06/04/2025: Magnificent location, ok food, but poor service, at least on the busiest days such as Saturday and Sunday over time.

29/10/2024: You arrive at the tavern which overlooks the Ticino river by walking along the embankment and going down a small road. The location is really nice. We ate friselle and salad with buffalo mozzarella, pears and pistachios as an appetizer, then aubergine parmigiana and ribeye, and chocolate cake. All good. Low and honest prices. Very fast and courteous service.

30/03/2025: Very nice, welcoming, typical village place. I ate very well, high quality and excellent service. Very helpful staff. To start we had a margherita pizza with anchovies placed in the middle of the table, very good. I had a salmon tartare and finally fried calamari, all very good. The other diners had a mixed grill of fish, which was also good, and finally a homemade tiramisu for dessert, made by them and served in a glass jar. I can't tell you how much the bill was because I was a guest, but I will definitely be back. I'm from Milan and I've been to some places, the location is certainly modest, family style, simple but well-kept. I recommend it.

30/03/2025: Posto molto carino , accogliente tipico di paese . Ho mangiato benissimo , qualità alta e servizio ottimo . Personale molto disponibile . Per iniziare abbiamo preso una pizza margherita con acciughe messa in mezzo al tavolo , buonissima . Io ho preso una tartare di salmone e per finire una frittura di calamari tutto molto buono . Gli altri commensali hanno preso una grigliata mista di pesce , buona anche questa e per finire un tiramisu della casa come dolce , fatto da loro servito in un barattolo di vetro . Non posso dirvi quanto è stato il conto perché sono stata ospite , ma ci ritornerò sicuramente . Sono di Milano e ne ho girati di locali , la location è sicuramente modesta stile familiare , semplice ma curato . Lo consiglio .

08/04/2025: Being celiac, I contacted the place in advance asking for information and, despite the lack of a separate kitchen, they reassured me by telling me about gluten-free bread, AIC certification and a separate oven, only the fresh ones could be contaminated. Once I arrived for dinner, together with some colleagues, apart from the empty and cold place, I noticed that the menu only contains food with gluten. A game of continuous contradictions begins: 1) I reiterate my celiac disease to the staff and first, they tell me that they are certified then, based on "how they were instructed", they are obliged to inform me that there is a risk of contamination (I point out that if there is certification, there should be no possibility of contamination but I move on); 2) immediately afterwards they ask me if I am intolerant or allergic. I repeat again that I am celiac but there is nothing to be done, they insist on the possibility of contamination (not well-educated staff); 3) "separate oven" in which bread was heated meant the same oven but on different levels; 4) as an order I ask for the least contaminated food possible, they recommend cold cuts because they are "still closed and sealed in their packaging" (I explain that the problem of gluten, in this case, shifts to the methods of production and conservation of food and not so much on the open or closed packaging, but I move forward); 5) they confirmed to me that the kitchen was clean as no dish had yet been served and that they would have spoken to the chef to give me further information, warning him to have him prepare my dish first and then that of the others, to avoid contamination. Well, I never heard anything more about the chef (among other things, my colleagues' dishes arrived first, including cut bread). 6) my two small sandwiches arrive, I ask again if the chef had been notified and they tell me that my dish came out last only to have them all come out together but in reality it was made first (I remain with the benefit of the doubt and eat). I am also disappointed by the portions in general (they are not at all like the ones in the photo, I would highly recommend updating the site and the Google page). The others take a sandwich (classic loaf) and two small tomini with a microscopic portion of fish and chips. All this for around 25/30 euros each and a return home with an empty stomach. I'm sorry but we're definitely not there.

21/02/2025: I was there two nights ago and had a great time. Looking from the outside, the place doesn't catch the eye; the furnishings are not modern but well kept and the place is very clean. Both the owner and the waitress are kind and thoughtful people. In terms of food there isn't much variety, but what's on offer is really good and you feel like you're eating at home. You don't find delicacies, you find simplicity, good grandmother's cooking. If I were to return to Voghera I will go to the Mang'iamo restaurant again. Highly recommended

16/02/2025: Locale Industrial Style. Il panierino del pane molto buono. Piccolo entree di benvenuto. Abbiamo atteso un po’ per l’antipasto. Il tris. Impiattamento gradevole ma non ho trovato molto bilanciati i sapori e le consistenze. Il baccalà ben fritto, il piatto piacevole visivamente ma non mi ha entusiasmato. Il mezzo astice con il negroni sbagliato diciamo un NO. La catalana buona ma senza entusiasmo, l’olio (sicuramente) buono con cui è condita sovrasta un po’ troppo.

09/01/2025: Location molto bella e curata nei dettagli sono stato a cena la sala è molto accogliente con luci a tema caldo che trasmettono famigliarità la mia esperienza posso dire che è stata molto soddisfacente la qualità delle materie prime eccellente cucinate con cura e attenzione vi porgo i miei complimenti a tutto lo staff grazie per questa piacevole esperienza……Andrea e Sabina
