07/08/2025: For a café, being near a blood test point is the best thing you can hope for, but when the place in question has a beautiful aesthetic and delicious food... well, returning, regardless of medical needs, becomes a must! The interior is vintage, just the way I like it, and perfectly complements a relaxing moment, whether in company or alone. For breakfast, the selection of pastries is truly extensive, each one better than the last. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive to their customers. I appreciated that, when we asked for cocoa and cinnamon for those delicious cappuccinos, they brought shakers directly to us, so we could serve ourselves as we pleased. Cafés like this aren't found everywhere, even though they're popping up like mushrooms in every city. Precisely for this reason, it's difficult for a place to become memorable amidst such an immense variety. Yet Il Melograno manages to do just that. I'll gladly return to enjoy more of my mornings in Pavia.

06/08/2025: A restaurant with tables in the main square. Very friendly service. The menu offers a wide selection. It's very popular in the summer, with many Italians and foreign tourists. The waiters speak English. In the evenings, the restaurant is perfect for a date or a romantic dinner. The food is delicious. Prices are reasonable, as usual.

15/06/2025: A good meeting point. Easy parking. Lots of choice and variety. From pastries to coffee. Everything is really good. Very kind and always helpful staff. Fast service... when there is no chaos. Possibility to also get ice cream cakes and sbrisolata.

06/05/2025: The coffee is great. The desserts are also very tasty and fresh. However, in the morning it is difficult to find a parking space due to the large number of visitors.

14/07/2025: Impeccable service and a warm welcome! The lunch deals are truly affordable and represent excellent value. The food is simply divine, prepared with care and using fresh ingredients. I enjoyed every dish and will definitely be back soon. I highly recommend Osteria La Cà Bella to anyone looking for great food in Pavia!

12/06/2025: A place I often see when passing by. After watching the episode of Cuci e da Incubo, I looked at the recent reviews and noticed that they were almost all super positive. "Good" I thought "for once a restaurant that made it after Cannavacciuolo's passing". Huge mistake. It was like seeing the Chef arrive at the restaurant again. The menu was handwritten with a marker, the atmosphere was kitsch. The service in the dining room was very friendly and kind and I gave it two stars just for that. Of the mixed antipasto, the cured meats were terrible and I had the doubt that they were packaged and the olives had a flavor that recalled a jar opened in the 80s. The savory pies were not bad. The ravioli were homemade but obviously frozen (they were stuck together), the house wine is a mix of a thousand leftovers from bottles and among four diners we didn't even finish half a liter, a sip was enough and then the dessert... The "puff pastry with chantilly cream" is two 3/4cm squares of puff pastry with a curl of cream on top that is definitely not chantilly. Perhaps the yellow risotto that a friend of mine had was saved, even if it seemed a little pale to me. However, it seems that at least it was cooked to perfection. I repeat, the service was kind, polite and super courteous. But this, combined with the very low price, is not enough to make me think of returning.

07/08/2025: A nice, friendly place, with prices in line with the quality of the product. A special shout-out to Pablo, who served us and made the experience even more enjoyable. I still have to make a reservation. Recommended.

27/07/2025: We went for lunch today. The menu included a pasta of the day with basil cream and sautéed cherry tomatoes for €9.00. The dish with raw cherry tomatoes and a basil leaf arrived for €10.00 each.

26/06/2025: Stunning location and very relaxing environment allowed us to have lunch away from everyday stress. Very courteous and prepared staff satisfied all our requests with impressive speed. The menu is interesting, the quality of the raw material is excellent and all combined with the imagination of the plating amazed us. Definitely to be recommended. Giuseppe Amici del fiume 🎣

08/06/2025: Yes ok it's a club but we ate outside everything was dirty on the floor dust lime we were near a wall that was leaking plaster and tasted of mold breadstick from md also no food I didn't finish it it wasn't good and the sauce went stringy again

27/07/2025: Sono stata oggi a pranzo in questo splendido ristorante con terrazza panoramica e vista mozzafiato. Subito accolta dal padrone di casa Stefano che con la sua simpatia e cortesia ci ha servito tutte le ottime portate del giorno cucinate dalla mamma. Menù davvero curato e genuino, prodotti freschissimi e piatti presentati molto bene. Porzioni abbondanti e cibo sublime con abbinamenti audaci ma vincenti. Sicuramente torneremo in altre occasioni! Però non capisco,se vado a Milano spendo 90 € per 3 pizze va bene!!!se vado in collina con un panorama bellissimo persone stupende,mangio bene cosa c'è che non va..........
