20/11/2025: On the road from Mortara to Lomello, you will find this simple trattoria, but where the quality of the food honors Italian cuisine, certainly local Lombardy Piedmontese dishes, it is worth stopping.
29/10/2025: Passing through the area, I stopped for a quick lunch. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. They also serve fried frog legs and sautéed snails! I saw that they have a couple of tasting menus available upon reservation, which are truly rich and inviting! I hope to return soon to try them! The ladies who run the place are very kind, I felt at home. 😘 Thank you so much for everything!

02/02/2026: THEY DO NOT ACCEPT DOGS
Not knowing they don't accept dogs (it's written in small print on the website), we booked over the phone, but didn't specify (since 90% of restaurants accept pets) that we had a 3-month-old poodle puppy.
When we arrived at the restaurant from Milan, they stopped us at the door and wouldn't even let the "beast" enter in the rigid carrier.
What a shame... The food was good.
27/01/2026: While riding my motorbike with a friend, I stopped at this lovely restaurant with delicious food and excellent wine.

24/02/2026: Excellent food and great prices! A fixed menu with three choices per course, we paid €13 for the menu, which included a first course, second course, a side dish buffet, wine, water, and coffee. The staff is friendly, and there's a small parking lot adjacent to the building, which may not be as large as it needs to be, but it's easy to find and park a few meters away. The atmosphere is comfortable, and it's a truly pleasant stop.

22/02/2026: A highly refined, light, and easily digestible pizza. A rare find where you can pair your favorite pizza with a local sparkling wine from the Oltrepò area. We've been traveling 30 kilometers to eat their pizza for years.
07/01/2026: Pizza with a frozen base (I saw the pizza chef take a pizza from a pile of pre-made, pre-prepared, frozen bases). No comment. I don't understand how they made such a decision. I've been a customer for years and years, but I don't think I'll be returning. Not recommended.

24/12/2025: Corso 62 is a real safe bet when I want to grab a bite to eat just steps from the Castiglione Brugnatelli College.
I haven't tried the pizza yet, but the place is perfect for carving out a little corner of Pavia where you can stop and chat for hours, without any major disturbances. I really appreciate the restrooms and the kindness of the staff, although communication can sometimes be difficult due to language barriers. I'm giving it four stars instead of five only because the croissant—which was still very good, especially for the Ischian dough—was very light on filling.
It's still a reliable bar, one of those places you'll want to return to.
19/12/2025: A superb restaurant right in the city center. Very tasty food and at a super cheap price. I went 3 times in 5 days, it was really worth it!!
