31/07/2024: Very bad experience and big disappointment
Fearful of the beautiful memory he had left me with a few years ago, I decided to have dinner at the restaurant with my relatives. Unfortunately it was a disaster.
The octopus was rubbery and inedible (in fact I had to leave it and I'm so sorry because I hate waste). The sautéed turnip tops were probably frozen and were poured onto our plate with the water that came out; they were dull and tasteless. The schnitzel was practically a sole. All left on the table alas.
The only positive note: the Monza risotto which was delicious, but wasn't enough to save the dinner.
To this I add that the waitress, despite (I think) having noticed the dissatisfaction, did not even ask how dinner had gone.
We had booked with the fork discount which was correctly applied but we left the place with our wallet as empty as our stomach.
A total disappointment

05/03/2024: I only ordered a pistachio and cream sponge cake once, unfortunately the pistachio wasn't noticeable but overall an excellent cake, really good and balanced, I'll be back to try the other desserts

08/08/2024: Founded in 1670, this already says a lot about the history of this place, located 20 meters from the historic Arengario and 60 meters from the cathedral. Traditional Brianza/Milanese cuisine that never disappoints. MUST TRY
04/08/2024: I hadn't been there for some time and unfortunately I was disappointed, yellow risotto with ossobuco (without gremolada) not creamed, two miserable pieces of sausage on the other risotto, dry elephant ear, a shame because in the center of Monza it could offer better ,mediocre service.

13/07/2024: We found the place looking for a traditional trattoria on our brief visit to Monza, in mid-June, with my partner. The place does not face the street, but you enter through a bar and then you have to pass a covered patio to the back. The place has the aesthetics of a club, almost improvised, very simple, and without pretensions. In my country, Argentina, we call this style of restaurant "bodegón". As someone said "it feels like you went to eat at your grandmother's", and that was exactly what we were looking for, which is why our review is totally positive. Mr. The person who serves and cooks kindly recommended an appetizer, a dish each, and dessert, all exquisite. In addition, we tried the house white wine, and we also liked it a lot. To come back!
06/07/2024: Excellent home cooking, it feels like you went to eat at your grandmother's. Menu of the day with simple but good dishes.
Excellent prices: €30 for two people with two first courses, two second courses, a dessert, two coffees (one correct) and 1L of water.
You have to enter the internal courtyard.

08/07/2024: Small location but with FRESH and good fish.
We arrived at around 12.30pm, the waitress let us choose the table and we were served in a very kind and smiling manner. As an appetizer we shared the carpaccio and as a first course I had the spaghetti with scampi!!! Yummy!! While my boyfriend had the paccheri with scampi and finally as a second course we shared a nice plate of mixed fried food, equally delicious.
I accompany all this with a nice bottle of white.
If you are in Monza or nearby I absolutely recommend this restaurant if you want to eat a nice fish dish!
Plus, the fish is displayed on the counter!

It offers two menus, one vegan and the other not. Very rich and varied menu. The appetizers and burgers are absolutely recommended. It also offers completely vegan pizzas.
20/07/2024: Veggie burgers and also for carnivores and ultra-thin pizzas, first courses and a few second courses, craft beers, a welcoming and well-kept place with an internal courtyard; informal like a pub but more refined. Excellent for even large groups. Parking at the “borgo Bergamo”

10/06/2024: I was a frequent client there, where Alessandro was the main catalyser, with his love with sparks....
we return there soem days ago after the change of management.
Impression was bad: the lady at the entrance said: "we have just changed... sorry for the mess"...
not good: if not ready pls don to open,
quality of service was poor, the seemed not pros.
food was quite usual, and we already wrote this... level of food is average.. but it was a decision from management, I guess..
only a photo: the dirty tablecloth says all.
I can agree (sadly) with last comments on place.
14/05/2024: La proposta dei piatti è carina, il risultato anche piacevole, però è mancata l’accoglienza, e per essere in una serata con soli due tavoli, è stato un po’ triste. Serve un allenamento al sorriso!

19/05/2024: I highly recommend, last night we had dinner in this small but very welcoming place, you are welcomed by the staff and owner with a smile and politeness, we ate Neapolitan fried specialties and super pizza, I'm only posting the review today because I can say that the digestibility of everything is it was super.
We will return to Sergio to taste other specialties. Congratulations to him and the staff 👍

09/08/2024: I stumbled upon this bar by chance. I'm not from Monza. The guy at the bar is very nice. Time for a coffee, a chat and I left with a smile on my face. I felt like I was a regular visitor to the place. I have rarely had this feeling. Compliments. When I'm in the area, I will definitely return. Highly recommended.
29/06/2024: Personale scortese, abbiamo pagato la consumazione per 3. E nonostante ci fossimo seduti in un tavolino sporco che nessuno si è degnato di venire a pulire, quando mio fratello si è addormento per 2 minuti per la stanchezza del lavoro. La barista con sarcasmo e sfottagine ci chiede se volevamo una coperta senza chiedere se stesse bene o male. Vi consiglio di trattare meglio i clienti, perché noi per un acqua una redbull abbiamo pagato 10€ senza rompere le scatole che il tavolo era sporco e nessuno ha avuto il contegno di pulirlo c’era ancora la consumazione degli altri clienti. Veramente pessimo sconsigliatissimo. La prossima volta verificate magari se il cliente sta bene perché non potete arrivare e rompere con battute sarcastiche senza sapere che tipo di cliente è e da che ora è sveglio o da dove viene. Perché noi oltre aver lavorato tutta la notte, la mattina abbiamo preso il treno da Torino alle 06:00 per visitare la città. Siete veramente vergognosi
