12/05/2025: Trattoria del Cavolo: the name is already a review Excellent food, refined dishes, impeccable waiter service. Everything seemed perfect... until the place decided to go into "funeral" mode at 10.20pm, turning off the music while we were still eating dessert. Atmosphere? Awkward silence. At the checkout, no apologies, no smile: the manager seemed more annoyed by our presence than interested in making us return. “You could stay until 11pm” we were told… Too bad that doing it with the background of a library wasn't exactly what we expected from an evening in a restaurant. In summary: super cuisine, hospitality to be seen again. Only the dishes save the cabbage. Friday evening in the center of Monza.

31/05/2025: A pleasant discovery, thanks to the advice of a regular friend of the place. Here, fish is the absolute protagonist: very fresh, selectable directly from the rich fishmonger's counter and cooked on the spot according to your tastes. The real triumph? The raw appetizer: superb, very well-prepared, with a selection that wins you over at the first taste. The fishmonger-restaurant formula works great, also thanks to a staff that is always kind and helpful, despite the constant coming and going of customers and the thousand requests. Chef Ciro is a true expert and always knows how to recommend the best based on the catch of the day. Antonio — the smiling and welcoming soul of the place — follows everything with attention and kindness, making the experience even more pleasant. Also worth mentioning is the friendliness and hospitality of the Egyptian owners, who add a warm and original touch to the atmosphere. Good selection of wines and excellent quality/price ratio. 16/04/2025: Mi sono fatta recapitare delle pizze da asporto, che ho trovato estremamente pesanti. Inoltre sono arrivate con tutta la farcitura riversata su un lato.

15/04/2025: I come for lunch every now and then and I must say that it is very good and very convenient to order from a tablet. The only thing I would make is the lunch menu which is a bit empty compared to other all you can eat options.

25/05/2025: Small location but with fresh fish. The waitress Florinda very kind and friendly 10/10. The only thing is that they are very slow in preparing the dishes, I can't wait more than half an hour for an appetizer, let alone the main courses, they are also disorganized in the kitchen because not all the dishes arrived together... the thing that for me in a restaurant is very important, at least that could have been done given the delays. We had a seafood salad where the potatoes were some raw, some not so you can see that the cooking time was not the same for all of them. The food was well prepared, even the fish could be felt that it was fresh and of excellent quality... shame about the very long wait for the dishes.

11/03/2025: Bad experience, a theft of €108 of birthday cake for not having what was requested! Sponge cake too thick and tin (perhaps it was supposed to add weight?), a lot of cream, the intense green was a pale green and the required writing wasn't there! A huge disappointment. Half an hour of chatting to reach an agreement and this is the result. What will be behind it? No more than €20 is spent on the ingredients and half an hour of work to prepare it. Served on a cardboard tray like those used for pastries, unsuitable to hold a cake of this size. Price €108 for this failure. Really little professionalism. Never again! To forget!!!

03/09/2024: Great little find that seems to be a locals local. We attended the F1 race and were looking around Monza afterwards on the Friday but wanted to be away from the rest of the crowd. Stumbled on this and loved it. Very friendly, simple menu but great tasting food and cold beer served in iced gasses. It was so good we went again the next day and the chap remembered us which was really nice.
