10/08/2025: We visited Chiaravalle Abbey, one of the most significant Cistercian wonders in Northern Italy. Today, even the cloister, usually closed to the public, was accessible: a rare and precious opportunity. Strolling among those arches, immersed in the silence and the stone smoothed by time, was truly evocative. Despite the damage suffered over the centuries—wars, neglect, and bombings—the Abbey is still there, telling its story. It certainly needs major restoration, but a lack of funding likely hinders any intervention. Yet, despite everything, it continues to convey beauty, spirituality, and a profound sense of memory. A heritage that deserves much more attention.

06/08/2025: A beautiful abbey, well-maintained and with many frescoes inside. The mill, powered by purified water, is also beautiful. The well-kept internal courtyard houses the dining hall and the singing room. I recommend everyone to visit it! It's very good for the soul!

By the way, it was quite busy on Thursday evening, so I suggest making a reservation in advance.

The service? Perfect timing: neither slow nor rushed. The right pace to enjoy the company, the ambience, the tranquility. The location is picture-perfect: tables surrounded by greenery, statues silently observing, the river flowing just beyond. Light, air, natural shade, no mosquitoes. Every detail has been designed to make guests feel truly at ease. And the lunch lived up to all this. Elegant, tasty, never predictable dishes. A cuisine crafted with balance and personality. Each course is carefully crafted, gracefully presented, and served with a smile. Sincere compliments to the chef, who has captured the region's history with style and technique. 30/08/2025: I've been frequenting this place for a few years. The setting, both inside and out, is very nice and well-kept. The cocktails are good. Regarding the food, I have to say that over the last year, both the quality and quantity have declined, while the price has risen even further! Among the appetizers, there's no shortage of tramezzini or panini, but where they used to contain cured meats, now they're just sauces and traces of pickles. The polenta has disappeared, and the entrees are less appetizing and repetitive. What a shame...

30/08/2025: This is my second time here for aperitivo, and I have to say it's one of the best in the area. Excellent cocktails and a wide selection, and the aperitivo itself is plentiful, varied, and of truly excellent quality. Plus, they also have many excellent vegetarian options. The outdoor space in spring and summer is truly delightful, and there's even a covered veranda where you can sit when it rains (as it did for us). Highly recommended.

19/07/2025: This is my second time trying this pizzeria. There was a bit of a wait to get a table, but it was worth it. This time, I chose the second of two gourmet vegan pizzas, "Foresta Verde," with matcha-flavored potatoes, mushrooms, semi-dried cherry tomatoes, and thyme, made with whole-wheat dough. Then I tried the nougat and sorbet. I would have appreciated some vegan options for dessert, too. You always leave feeling full but not heavy, as the ingredients are top-quality. I'll be back again.
