19/03/2026: We asked our concierge for a traditional milanese places where locals eat and he pointed us here and it did not dissappint. The food was fantastic. The veal milanese and osso bucco with risotto were both worth coming back for time and time again. The place was filled with locals but it was a bit odd that the restaurant was locked and they had to buzz us in then locked us in while we ate. It was also odd that the server kept asking us if we wanted to give him a tip when he brought us the bill. Not sure if that was normal or if he was targeting us because we are American but over several months in Italy, not one other server or establishment asked for a tip. I asked the concierge when I got back to the hotel and he said it was highly unusual. Sad because it changed a wonderful meal into a weird experience and knocked a star off my review.

28/02/2026: In an increasingly globalized world, finding someone like Nicolò who champions local traditions is truly a rarity, to be admired and preserved. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a traditional trattoria, with the (few) Milanese dishes. What can I say: everything is delicious. The passion with which each dish is prepared shines through in the dishes. Highly recommended.

16/02/2026: A pleasant surprise in a Milan that (unfortunately) has become all fluff and little substance, this trattoria stands out for its excellent quality/price ratio. The food is truly delicious and high-quality, the atmosphere is very welcoming and refined, and last but not least (the zabaglione cream is superb), the staff is courteous and smiling (another thing that's no longer a given in Milan). Well done! It's truly a case of "Miracle in Milan."

29/01/2026: A pleasant old-fashioned osteria. Simple yet meticulously prepared food, top-quality ingredients, a consistently friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and an informal yet elegant atmosphere. Excellent value. It's obviously not a Michelin-starred restaurant, and the service is extremely courteous but limited (partially self-service), but it's perfect for a business lunch, and if you bring a guest, perhaps a foreigner, you'll make a wonderful impression.

21/03/2026: My friends and I chose this place for the all-you-can-eat option, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing in several ways. The advertised price was €55, but when we got the bill, we were asked for €60. When we asked for an explanation, the owner responded unprofessionally, going so far as to say that the price could have been as high as €65, adding, "I'm the owner and I do what I want," all in front of the cashier. A decidedly disrespectful attitude. As for the food, the quality didn't live up to expectations, and despite the all-you-can-eat option, we left feeling full. The service was also questionable: we were told that, in order to get another slice of meat, we would have to eat the fat as well. Overall, a negative experience both in terms of the treatment we received and the value for money. We wouldn't recommend it.

07/03/2026: It's not my first time here, and it won't be my last. The waiters are delightful. Very friendly and efficient. Quick. The food is simply fantastic. The spaghetti carbonara is excellent, and the elephant ear (a type of pasta) is huge and incredibly delicious. Highly recommended.
