16/11/2024: Beautiful experience 3 days and 2 nights Excellent rooms and services, cleanliness of the rooms, comfort and friendly and helpful staff, An excellent breakfast and a herbal tea corner in the resort to accompany your relaxation ample parking. Definitely an experience worth repeating

08/11/2024: A beautiful 20th century villa surrounded by greenery. As soon as you reach it, you are welcomed by a nice car park and an elegant entrance. After the reception, a room with armchairs and a fantastic fireplace surprised and warmed us. Unfortunately the double room we were assigned was a bit small. The bathroom however was a decent size with a nice large shower.

01/01/2025: I chose the Danara restaurant to introduce my friends from Piacenza to good pizza: I had never done it: hard and overcooked pizza, delivered the wrong first course to a diner with allergies and found a hair in the panna cotta. I'm not telling you how silly it is... Luckily my friends are not argumentative. Also the poor service because the wrong first one was delivered, and it took a long time to serve us dessert. However, the environment promises well if it were cared for and renovated.

30/09/2024: I don't know why so many reviews are so negative and some of them baseless, I've always had a good time eating in this place. From what I know, the desserts are all homemade except for the truffles and there are those who say they are all frozen and most of them are bought but this is not the case, I can confirm it, then let's face it, out of 100 or 1000 people there will always be the one who says that nothing went well even if I doubt it, I read about a review of a cat's hair but you have to understand that when eating outside everything is not completely sealed and it could have happened that a cat snuck in... Having said that, they clean everything and work hard because one morning when I was passing by I saw all the pieces outside the kitchen hood that they were washing with the special nozzle, the one used in car washes, obviously you can't nitpick because there's always something, it's a place in the countryside and in the cities it gets even worse, trust me. They give fresh fish in seaside places where there is immediate sale but there you are not in a nearby sea area and it is obvious that it can be different but the quality of the food has always been there, I heard people at the table say that they also come from outside the region to eat, however you have to see with your own eyes and your palate to judge, the reviews can be counted but up to a certain point in my opinion. They also do takeaway if you want and in special cases like when there was covid, they will also bring it home if you are in the nearby area. There are those who wrote oysters in some reviews but they are not oysters.... they are cooked and they are scallops...

12/12/2024: A guarantee when you want to eat fish: generous portions and excellent quality. I absolutely recommend the pike appetizer with polenta and the mixed fried fish.

10/03/2025: Usually the pizza is good, on some occasions overcooked, but the home delivery service is quite poor, there are basically 15-20 minute delays to arrive on some occasions even at an hour. All without a minimum discount or free drink to apologize for the delay or even an apology from the deliveryman... 15 minutes are understandable, 50 minutes for a distance of less than one kilometer is not! Plus with an increased price for home delivery! Final joke: pizza almost cold and with a huge bubble in the dough (bottom left). A long time customer and I'm sorry to write this review, I hope to change my mind one day and I will be more than happy to change the review, but for now things are like this...

23/03/2025: The Zuppetta Livornese...it has been, in my opinion, the best mussel soup ever for X years. Consistently excellent👍👍👌😋😋 The wood-fired pizza is a dream, there are various variations from classic to creative, even with wholemeal dough if you want. The kitchen also offers a good selection of Tuscan dishes. The wine selection is also very varied. The staff are all very attentive and also give good recommendations. We are happy to remain loyal 🥰🥰👍🏼😃

31/12/2024: In occasione delle feste Natalizie abbiamo fatto un giro per Mantova, e a pranzo abbiamo mangiato in questa osteria, visto che ci eravamo già stati. Anche questa volta siamo rimasti soddisfatti! Lo consiglio.

17/12/2024: Aperto solo a pranzo, tavoli condivisi e servizio rapido. Abbiamo preso luccio con polenta (12€, buono) e trippa bianca (12€, buona ma di difficile digestione). Coperto 1,5€. Consigliato per un rapido approccio alla cucina mantovana.

17/11/2024: We booked with The fork. Confirmed the reservation. We arrive there and it's closed, we tried calling before arriving and no one answered.

20/10/2024: A star that couldn't be less. Happened by chance, what can I say... disgusting... three dishes, prices out of line compared to other restaurants. Half burnt lasagna, stewed cuttlefish that looked like vomit. Sorry for the heavy words but I really think it can't get any worse than this. Waiter seemed to have come back from the stable, dirty and what can I say... Absolutely to be avoided, in fact we were unique 🤦‍♀️.
