28/05/2024: Questa trattoria, pur non avendo un'insegna visibile dall'esterno, offre un'esperienza autentica di una vecchia osteria. All'ingresso, il menù è disponibile per essere fotografato e consultato al tavolo. La condivisione del tavolo con altri clienti non è risultata scomoda. Il menù propone piatti tipici della cucina mantovana, tra cui il famoso risotto alla Pilota, preparato con la salamella (salsiccia). Sebbene il risotto sia risultato buono, l'ho trovato un po' troppo asciutto rispetto a ciò a cui sono abituato, probabilmente per differenze regionali nei gusti. L'esperienza è stata arricchita da un ottimo lambrusco sfuso e si è conclusa con un delizioso budino al cioccolato. Il servizio è stato rapido. Consigliato a chi desidera assaporare la cucina tipica mantovana.

20/05/2024: L'osteria di una volta. Locale spartano, nascosto in un vicoletto. Menù con piatti tipici, vino sfuso, tovagliette di carta, tutto molto spartano ma cibo buono con porzioni giuste e prezzi abbordabili. Non un locale adatto a tutti ma per chi vuole mangiare locale a prezzi bassi e ha pretese di un locale top!

14/04/2024: Locale informale, modello pizzeria. Quello che abbiamo però piacevolmente notato è l'estrema pulizia e la cura con cui è tenuto. Il giovane cameriere molti gentile e disponibile. Servizio attento e veloce. Buona varietà di salse di accompagnamento. La qualità di tigelle e gnocchi fritti nella media, quella dei salumi piuttosto scarsa. Nella patria dei salumi ci si aspetta di più. Tortelli di zucca buoni. Scelta limitata di birre. Ci torneremmo? Non so....

13/07/2024: I don't understand all the bad opinions. There are minor defects, e.g. the ban on eating in the room or the short menu list. However, it is a beautiful location and the rooms are nice and spacious and very well equipped. The service is very hospitable and fantastic. The portions of the food were more than enough and did justice to the price. It was also very tasty. What I particularly liked the most was the calm atmosphere. I will definitely come back!

12/07/2024: Terrible food. 60€ for cold, overcooked pasta that didn't taste good. We wouldn't eat here again for any money in the world. Dirty, unkempt restaurant and the smell outside is unbearable! Smells like ficals

16/09/2023: Ristorante raggiungibile a piedi in pochi minuti posteggiando l'auto in una delle vie sopra . Tranquillo se paragonato a quelli molto affollati nel centro di Capoliveri anche se questi sono decisamente più suggestivi. Molta cortesia e servizio efficiente. Originali e molto buoni i piatti scelti. Ottima pizza.

07/07/2024: The first mistake was entering this restaurant without consulting the previous reviews. today Sunday 7 July we were passing through and in a hurry, otherwise I would have called the Guardia di Finanza. Be careful because by violating every transparency rule you will only know the price of what you ordered at the end. When they bring you the menu they are careful not to say that the prices shown on it are not up to date. Of course, you will later discover that on the black cover of the menu there is a black label that humanly no one notices and which refers to this aspect. the point is that the new price list is not reported anywhere, it only exists in the head of the restaurateur who will prepare a bill "ad libitum" or in other words...as he pleases. This is illegal and would warrant a complaint for commercially unfair behavior. The lady behind the counter has a nice point about saying that it's her fault because she's late in preparing the new price lists. This is shady and unacceptable behavior. In the end we spent 48 euros for 2 fillets which should have cost 36 euros, same ad libitum increase on starter and side dishes. It is simply indecent that you stick to these means to scrape together a few extra euros at the end of the day. Never again! not recommended!

29/06/2024: Very nice place, well looked after and clean (even the bathroom, congratulations!). Service a little slow, but friendly and polite staff. Excellent quality food, both in the raw material and in its processing, well done! A "small" flaw: rather than "dal Mozzo" it should have been called "dal Camerata Nostalgico". It's a shame that a place with such good potential falls into the vulgar idealization of the worst period in Italian history. Maybe, if we studied a little more and got information from those who lived through this period, these things would be avoided in 2024.

03/06/2024: Decent food, nothing exceptional, I recommend trying the spaghetti with garlic and oil which seems banal as a dish but they make it really good and then the meat I've eaten has always been good.

21/05/2024: Not frequented and therefore impossible to give judgements

17/08/2024: Very good restaurant. We had a delicious meal at La Dinastia, we ate here almost every evening because it was located in our hotel. Also had lunch a few times. You can have lunch/dinner here both outside and inside. The spaghetti with tomato sauce and buratta, the risotto and the grilled beef, truffle cheesecake were favorites. After a few evenings she introduced the chef's special dessert, something different every time... they can keep this! Of which 1 special dessert from the chef should be on the menu and that is the melon cheesecake. All the staff here are very friendly, especially the lady who came from Poland, unfortunately we do not know her name but she understands the trade of a hostess. She stood out for us! The only feedback I would like to give them is that they might change or broaden their choice of vegetables by, for example, serving cauliflower/broccoli next to the grilled beef. Or as a choice with the side dishes. That's partly personal because I like hot vegetables with my dinner more than salads.
