10/06/2025: Un repas très mauvais avec des pâtes pas cuites des plats bien trop salés donc inmangeables .. avec une attente très longue Nous déconseillons absolument

25/05/2025: La location è molto carina sia internamente che esternamente. Il servizio è nella media, un particolare che ci tengo a segnale è mi è stato versato la fine della bottiglia di vino davanti agli occhi. La cucina troppo lenta, anche se gli chef hanno bisogno del giusto tempo. Il menù ha poca scelta e se prenoti per le 13.30 non trovi più nulla. Il cibo è nella media, il conto per la qualità e la qualità è esagerato.

17/08/2025: Absolutely negative experience. The room was dirty, even the shower. Extremely high prices for minimal service. The TV didn't work, and there wasn't even an outlet to charge my phone. I'd never stay there again.

27/07/2025: The hotel is old, the furniture is dirty. The showerhead had so much mold and the receptionist was rude and unpleasant. They should reduce the price or change furniture and attitude.

15/06/2025: Have you planned an excursion to Erve with a stop at a restaurant? Very good, but be careful of the fines that the diligent traffic police, even on Saturdays or Sundays, are ready to give you if you leave your car outside the white lines, it doesn't matter if the car isn't causing a nuisance, it doesn't matter if it's on a side street... the municipality has to make money and so they wait for you like voracious birds of prey. And they ruin your day, they don't care. Last time there were hundreds of fines... And be careful if you have a dog that doesn't poop properly... Forewarned is forearmed.

30/04/2025: Unfortunately we were not able to eat here. This restaurant turned out to be closed while it should be open according to Google. So we drove up the mountain for nothing with steep, narrow winding roads.

10/07/2025: Stunning location surrounded by nature. The dishes are beautifully presented and the food is excellent: all products come from local farms. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Good value for money. Highly recommended for a different experience.

03/08/2025: BAD management. No comment about the food simply because, despite the email confirmation of our reservation #279023623695 for Sunday, August 3, at 1:00 PM, the restaurant was closed! The girl managing the lido bar apologized and offered us a pizza or some other simple dish there. The worst part was that at 1:27 PM I received an email from Quandoo (the website that handles reservations) with the following content: They informed us that you didn't show up. The website says it's open, so I tried calling for more information, but no response. I won't add anything else! Disappointed and angry, we went looking for a restaurant nearby. And luckily, we found a beautiful place right on the lakeside. COVO NORD OVEST Piazza Garibaldi 24 23864 Malgrate (LC) Nice, good service/food, and good value.

19/06/2025: Terrible experience in the company of 12 people for a birthday party. The only one who didn't get food was me. At 11.30pm the pizza arrived after the other 11 people at the table had finished dinner. I'd say I won't be returning.

22/07/2025: I don't recommend it at all! I went here for lunch last Sunday with a group of friends, six people in total. The restaurant was practically empty; besides us, there were only two other tables with two couples. The menu is embarrassing, to say the least; they have four or five dishes to choose from and they charge through the nose. Beyond that, we asked the waitress what "leavened bread" was and she freaked out. She came back after 10 minutes explaining the entire recipe when we only wanted to know if it was focaccia, pinsa, or pizza! After the hefty bill (a whopping €41 per person for a stuffed focaccia and a bottle of wine for six), we asked the owner if we could use the pool (obviously, we would have consumed other drinks/bottles) and he replied in a very cold and arrogant manner that the pool is for private use, but he could rent us the plastic loungers (half-broken) for a whopping €15 each, and if we really wanted to go for a dip, we could. Shameful. Don't go there!

13/07/2025: Food was good. But the service was great. Can’t remember the wonderful girls name. You made our dinner great. 👍🏼 Shoutout to Max for his latte art even with having to large milk steamer. Awesome job. Hey owners get this man the proper equipment and your guesses will rave about the art.

09/07/2025: I took the margherita pizza because I had tasted it in 2024 and I liked it a lot, this time in July 2025 definitely to avoid at €8, the piadinas at €9, The waiter doesn't understand Italian in Italy.

21/08/2025: Friendly staff, large selection of pizzas, fast service, delicious pizza, clean toilets. Everything was fine.

30/04/2025: On a trip from Milan to Varenna we had a pleasant lunch enjoying the flavors of the place. Shared mixed starter (more than enough for two), two very generous Borgovino tagliatelle (unique), two glasses of wine, water and coffee. 80 euros. Flavors I'm not used to, but truly surprising. Large portions for the price and excellent, welcoming and friendly service.

18/04/2025: Delicious, freshly cooked food in homely atmosphere in a place of too many tourist restaurants. Authentic!

21/07/2025: Quiet place, cozy and ideal for breakfast. Pastry shop attached and with a beautiful window at the entrance with all the mignon that makes you want to try everything! Excellent for lunch break. Professional and kind staff.

14/08/2025: Perfect for coffee or drinks, or a light meal of salads and pasta, as we had. The scenery is, of course, terrific. The service was fast and courteous, contrary to many reviews.

14/08/2025: The place is chaotic, crowded, with outdoor tables too close together. It's overlooked because it's a touristy location, but I've never seen such rude and overbearing service in other places.

18/08/2025: Nice seating by the water. The food is average, the pizzas nothing special. The service is indeed not great.
