13/10/2025: La Vista delivered an absolutely stunning experience—both on the plate and beyond it. The food was exquisite, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. But what truly elevated the evening were the breathtaking lake views that framed every bite. The ambiance was romantic and serene, perfect for a special night out. Service was attentive without being intrusive, making us feel welcomed and relaxed. If you're in Varenna, this is a must-visit spot for a memorable meal with an amazing view.

19/10/2025: Recommended. We stopped for lunch today with friends after a walk in the area. A friendly place, with limited seating inside and the option to eat outside. We were greeted by the friendly and courteous staff, along with our dogs. Excellent dishes, generous portions, served with smiles and kindness. Excellent value.

07/11/2025: We stopped by Nilu’s Bar in Verena on a rainy afternoon when most of our planned restaurants were either closed or fully booked — and it turned out to be a great choice! To start, we ordered drinks — I had a tropical fruit punch and my husband had martini. Both were excellent. For lunch, we tried the bruschetta with mozzarella and a prawn sandwich, which were delicious, well-prepared, and nicely presented. For dessert, we went for a Nutella dark chocolate crepe, and honestly, it was the star of the meal — absolutely delightful! The restaurant setup was cozy and inviting, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, a pleasant surprise and a lovely experience despite the rainy weather. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!

29/10/2025: Great location. Tried it for an afternoon snack, with the sweet crepes. Plenty of choice, and the crepes were delicious and beautifully presented. Looking at the menu, it's worth noting that the cocktails are reasonably priced compared to other restaurants and bars nearby. I think it's a good place to have an aperitivo.

26/09/2025: A nice little venue that was quaint inside with attentive staff and the ability to customize pizza toppings. The pizza was only average in my opinion. The toppings just felt like they were placed on top of a bread rather than infused together. The pizza base was thick and I'm used to (and prefer) thin based pizza. It was a pretty light base however . I'm also puzzled why they serve pizza slices and not just circle pizza like traditional ones I'm used to. Overall a decent experience. Btw the salads and fries were great.

16/09/2025: What a hopeless restaurant. First of all, you have to pay €3 per person to eat there. We found out later when we got the receipt. Then the pizza. Well, it's not a regular pizza, but a very thick slice. It looks like forcaccia dough. It's not the dough. A treat of rubbery mozzarella on top, and enjoy, or rather, chew. The waitress was attentive, though. They'll never see us again. I'd rather eat a dry sandwich.

02/11/2025: Excellent food, friendly staff, and a very welcoming family atmosphere. I recommend trying it; I go every time I'm in Lecco and always have a great time. Today was another positive experience. Thank you so much!

19/07/2025: It's a regular stop for me when I'm out walking. I stop for a coffee break or a light lunch. They have a wide variety of food and drinks, from cold dishes to pinza. The owner is incredibly sweet and kind, and I really enjoy it. The space is spacious, well-kept, and very charming. I highly recommend it for a quick bite to eat.

18/08/2025: Al Molo 5 is amazing! Great Italian food, fresh ingredients, and a terrace with beautiful lake views. Perfect spot for a relaxing dinner. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend! Make sure to use mosquito repellent.

09/11/2025: Very good pastry shop, very nice and spacious, with tables inside, on the veranda, and outside. The staff at the counter are friendly, although some of them lack a bit of experience in dealing with customers (both here and at the Besana location), but it's something you can learn from. :)

24/11/2025: Unfortunately, my experience has also been negative. I've been left behind several times with the excuse, "I'll let them do their work," referring to staff from two companies out front, as if this were standard practice. The staff is often distracted on the phone. Their checkout is fine, but I'm often in line and have to wait for them to collect from loyal customers at the counter... Looking at the various reviews, I see a less than proactive attitude towards discussion. It's a real shame when you work with the public; criticism has to be taken seriously, and you have to try to understand why...

23/11/2025: We stopped for a coffee and discovered that the place has a business menu and is a pizzeria. I asked to see the menu, and they also intrigued us. Pizzas are also available. We'll definitely be coming back with friends. Large rooms, large windows.

31/10/2025: It was a late autumn visit on a day when the outdoor seating wasn't available (and therefore not open to review). The interior, however, is rather anonymous, and the prices tend to be excessive. Perhaps the most successful thing so far is the restaurant's name.
