19/07/2025: Muy mal servicio sirven la mesa sin platos Tardan muchísimo. La camarera es muy antipática. Vasos no están tan limpios.

30/06/2025: Ero di passaggio ieri sera domenica, ho visto questo locale transitando nella strada sottostante, visto che era orario di cena abbiamo deciso di fermarci. Ci siamo seduti all' esterno con lo sfondo delle montagne della Val Chiavenna, una leggera brezzolina mitigava il caldo infernale della giornata. Veniamo alla cucina...mia moglie ha preso una frittura di pesce ECCEZIONALE...ben asciutta croccante, e anche abbondante. Mentre io e i miei figli abbiamo mangiato la pizza. Sono rimasto colpito dalla fragranza del impasto, ben lievitata, ben cotta...insomma una pizza da 10, anche i miei figli hanno apprezzato e divorata tutta. Sicuramente questo ristorante lo inseriremo in agenda la prossima volta che passeremo a Colico

31/10/2025: Seven months ago, it was fine: a single dish with basmati rice, grilled chicken breast, and baked potatoes, including water and coffee (€11). Today, bresaola and potatoes (without rice), again with water and coffee, plus a crodino (€16). I'd say €5 for a crodino is too much. They accept restaurant vouchers. A bit chilly.

19/10/2025: Recommended. We stopped for lunch today with friends after a walk in the area. A friendly place, with limited seating inside and the option to eat outside. We were greeted by the friendly and courteous staff, along with our dogs. Excellent dishes, generous portions, served with smiles and kindness. Excellent value.

07/03/2026: Absolutely wonderful, well prepared food right on the lake. The view was beautiful and the food was too! The staff were just wonderful. The restaurant has limited space on the terrace therefore it was not too crowded. Light opera music played overhead, including modern music such as Josh Groban. Wonderful welcome for lunch to Lake Como!

31/03/2026: Every time I stop at this bar, the staff usually serves regulars first, then others. It doesn't matter if you arrive first, you're ignored and left waiting. I recommend trying to treat everyone equally so you can attract more regulars. P.S. If you order a coffee and a pack of gum twice, you'll have to wait in line at different checkouts. But no, not! Looking at the responses below, I understand I'm dealing with people who can't understand the problems they have inside themselves, but who make excuses about the fact that my friends and I found ourselves in the same situation at the same place. Assess yourselves, not those who come to your place to drink. P.S. Many, but think like me and others who have commented, but there are those who go elsewhere and don't care.

12/10/2025: We sat for a coffe and sweet desert. The view was wonderful at the afternoon. The cheesecake was horrible, stale. The spoon for the capuccino was dirty and reused. The cappuccino had something like crumbs . I woudnt recomend the place except for the view

14/09/2025: On the recommendation of some locals, we had lunch at this restaurant. We had an appetizer of local cured meats and a fabulous perch risotto. All accompanied by good wine and the kindness of the owner.

18/08/2025: A cozy, family-run pizzeria. The service was friendly, and our limited Italian skills were no problem. The food (beef, pizza, and pasta) was delicious, and the recommended dessert rounded everything off perfectly.

03/09/2025: You can't see the lake, even with a telescope. It's a hole, and the prices are very high for the quality/price ratio. I'll never eat there again. 3 main courses and half a glass of wine cost €151. They take advantage of foreigners. Thieves.

22/10/2025: We recently went for lunch. The food was excellent, with well-prepared dishes, though not abundant. The restaurant is located inside a garden that sells plants and flowers. Peace and quiet abound, and the air is fresh. The staff is friendly and well-trained. Thanks to Nicole for her general knowledge of the area, and to Angelo for his friendliness and prompt service. The prices aren't particularly low, but are average for a good restaurant. The menu changes based on seasonal produce. I highly recommend it.

03/08/2025: BAD management. No comment about the food simply because, despite the email confirmation of our reservation #279023623695 for Sunday, August 3, at 1:00 PM, the restaurant was closed! The girl managing the lido bar apologized and offered us a pizza or some other simple dish there. The worst part was that at 1:27 PM I received an email from Quandoo (the website that handles reservations) with the following content: They informed us that you didn't show up. The website says it's open, so I tried calling for more information, but no response. I won't add anything else! Disappointed and angry, we went looking for a restaurant nearby. And luckily, we found a beautiful place right on the lakeside. COVO NORD OVEST Piazza Garibaldi 24 23864 Malgrate (LC) Nice, good service/food, and good value.

19/02/2026: We went today for a lunch break. The menu was excellent, and we were told it changes daily. Lasagna and pasta with Taleggio cheese fondue were delicious! Very friendly staff and excellent coffee. Thank you! We recommend it for lunch, breakfast, or a snack!

19/01/2026: Even though it's registered as a post office and the (very kind) guy has always shipped my packages in less than a minute, this is already the third time the lady rudely refuses because "there's no connection." Likewise, I'm ignored by the girl and the man present (equally rude and clearly incapable or unwilling to provide this service). All customers are the same and should be treated accordingly. I won't be returning.

31/08/2025: Unfortunately it was a flop, terrible on all fronts, at a table of 9 people, some were eating and some were waiting for their food, the sliced ​​beef arrived cold after an hour I ordered grilled vegetables which never arrived.

20/08/2025: Used for years and years. Very convenient for space, parking, and a surrounding area for strolling and relaxing in the shade of a grove. Views of the recreational lake and the start of the Valchiavenna valley. Ideal for banquets and special occasions. Outdoor seating is also available in the summer. Simple, yet fresh and good quality food. A fixed price (very affordable) or à la carte options are available. At lunchtime, it's used by office workers and blue-collar workers from the industrial area. Pizza is also available in the evenings. Self-service is available on weekends. Dogs are welcome. Can be used without hesitation. MANAGEMENT HAS CHANGED, so this review does not relate to the new management.

02/03/2026: I'm only giving it one star because it was the second time I stayed there, and the first time wasn't as bad as this second time. We booked a hotel through Booking.com, but when we arrived they said it was closed, so we had to go to another hotel. The receptionist wasn't very friendly, but we still had dinner there before leaving for the other place. The waiter wasn't very approachable, and the food, for the price I paid, wasn't anything special. The grilled menu was mostly just chicken and pork, and some things were missing. The waiter even told me he was doing me a favor because after I complained they gave me a little more chicken. The beef was half a steak, and the food seemed reheated.

07/02/2026: We can't complain about anything. We stopped here on our motorcycle trip through northern Italy. Our bikes were safe in the underground garage. What more could you ask for.
