Albergo Sala In Introbio

Truly delicious dishes with quality ingredients.

I go to the Sala hotel/restaurant a couple of times a year when I'm in Introbio to visit my mother. It is located in the center of the town, in an excellent position, close to shops, newsagent, pharmacy, bus stop etc.. the restaurant is family-run, and when we have lunch there it feels like being at home. Impeccable service, very kind and attentive. The room is made up of a few tables, with a TV corner, well-spaced and well-set tables. The menu list includes various choices between first courses, second courses and desserts. And it's all very good, but without big demands, I would say easy-going. Simple but good dishes. And cheap. The two of us don't spend more than thirty euros on a first course (mum), a second course of meat (me), vegetables, two fruit salads, mineral water, coffee and cover charge. I've never tried the hotel, but hearsay it's good. The rooms are spotless, have a beautiful view of the Grigna, there are no balconies, there are tables on the pavement and there is also a nice internal garden.

Friendly, very good home cooking. To be recommended.
