11/01/2026: Very kind and professional, good food. The place needs some updating, but it's worth a try.
15/09/2025: The waiter told us the menu without specifying any prices. Since it was a weekday and it was a trattoria, we assumed they were serving a business lunch.
We ended up paying €35 per person.
The food was perfectly ordinary, the egg rolls were as pale as if we were in the hospital.

20/12/2025: Not a positive experience regarding the rooms, there is a centralized water heating system that emits background noise that is annoying for light sleepers and therefore I was unable to sleep well, otherwise everything was positive.

03/09/2025: You can't see the lake, even with a telescope. It's a hole, and the prices are very high for the quality/price ratio. I'll never eat there again. 3 main courses and half a glass of wine cost €151. They take advantage of foreigners. Thieves.
23/08/2025: We had dinner at your restaurant this evening and were very pleased. The food was delicious and the service was attentive and friendly. We highly recommend it!

We basically drank a caffe latte...never again!!
Also, the prices are too high.
I'd like to remind the manager that we're in Merate, not on Lake Garda...

18/08/2025: Al Molo 5 is amazing! Great Italian food, fresh ingredients, and a terrace with beautiful lake views. Perfect spot for a relaxing dinner. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Make sure to use mosquito repellent.

04/01/2026: Small piadina with a slice of ham, 2 courgettes and a crumb of cheese, I tell the clerk and she starts laughing... then they say they're closing because they don't make money, I was the only one there at 12:43 on a Sunday, ask yourself a few questions and laugh less...

31/10/2025: It was a late autumn visit on a day when the outdoor seating wasn't available (and therefore not open to review). The interior, however, is rather anonymous, and the prices tend to be excessive. Perhaps the most successful thing so far is the restaurant's name.
31/10/2025: We stopped for a pizza and chocolate soufflé, so very good. Huge menu, full of options for meals or a dessert and coffee.

31/01/2026: The pizza was greasy and burned with the cold cuts that were added to the pizza. I only ate two slices with difficulty. The beer wasn't good; it seemed diluted. Finally, when I was far from the restaurant, I noticed that the pizzas on the receipt were much more expensive than the menu price. From €6.50 for the menu price to €8 on the receipt. It's not good.

Asians don't go there...
The train stopped due to a problem with the tracks, so I had no choice but to stop by. I don't know if it's discrimination against Asians, normal, or a problem with the staff's personality, but
it was tasteless and unfriendly.

06/01/2026: We've been going to Tavernetta for many years and it feels like family. The pizza is delicious, they also have red beer on tap, my favorite. The restaurant is also excellent.
