16/04/2025: Spent 5 nights here as we explored Lake Como. Varenna is a beautiful village and the hotel location on the square is charming. Our room was quiet and comfortable with spectacular views of the lake. Breakfast buffet is a treat. Staff is very helpful and made great restaurant suggestions. We had an emergency situation when we checked out when our prearranged taxi was in an accident and hotel staff arranged for transportation within 30 minutes to get us to airport. We are so appreciative
11/04/2025: Had the dreamiest stay in Varenna here with a perfect view and convenient access to wonderful restaurants and attractions like Villa Monastero. Staying here also gives you access to the Villa Cipressi botanical gardens next door which is quite a treat. The AC in the room was outstanding and they had great shower pressure in the room as well. The included breakfast is quite lovely. Highly recommend staying here!

28/03/2025: Positive experience, I had lunch after a basketball game with my group and everything went well👍 kind and helpful staff, varied and well cooked menu, normal, honest prices. If I have the opportunity to move to Mandello again, I will come back again! 👍
27/03/2025: Excellent restaurant with sophisticated cuisine. The risotto with fish from the lake and the ravioli were delicious, not to mention the pizza 😋
In short, a very good place with impeccable service 👍

05/04/2025: As a family with friends we had a beer and grill dinner with some super sandwiches, a very good herb cockerel with potatoes in a beautiful setting served quickly by the waiting staff and also fantastic coffee

29/10/2024: Varenna is worth every trip. If you're vacationing on Lake Como and want to stay in a small, romantic town, this is the right place for you. You can take the boat to several other places and are therefore flexible.
We liked it best in Varenna.

Even the little cannoli filled with fresh cream and coffee is excellent. Excellent value for money. To return. Apparently the burgers are fabulous. Well done

30/03/2025: La salle de restaurant est panoramique avec une vue époustouflante sur Lecco et le Lac de Côme. L’œuf frit 62 est une de leurs spécialités qui mérite l’attention ! Le rizo ténuto Castillo est tout simplement exceptionnel ! Service très agréable et efficace sans boniments. À consommer sans modération !!
