10/04/2026: An honest, old-fashioned trattoria, simple and welcoming, with good food and fair prices. The homey, unpretentious atmosphere, the friendly service, the well-presented dishes (including lake fish), and the beautiful view of the lake and Mount Resegone are a combination that will keep you coming back.

30/12/2025: We spent lunch on December 26th at the Passo Culmine restaurant in San Pietro. Even though we hadn't booked, they still managed to find us a table for two. The starters were excellent, as were the desserts. The prices were very fair, perhaps even reasonable for the quality. We'll definitely be back. Kudos to the wonderful management.

14/03/2026: I go regularly when I'm in the area for lunch. The place is small, but unfortunately, it's difficult to get a seat during rush hour.
The piadinas are always delicious; I even brought my elderly father, who enjoyed them.
20/02/2026: I regularly visit this fantastic place. The staff is simply incredible (thanks to Alice, Alessandra, and all the girls, always ready to give me advice). Kind, smiling, patient. And always available! I absolutely recommend trying it if you're in the area!

We basically drank a caffe latte...never again!!
Also, the prices are too high.
I'd like to remind the manager that we're in Merate, not on Lake Garda...

31/01/2026: I ordered the 4 Seasons Pizza and it was truly excellent! Fresh and well-balanced ingredients, each slice with a different flavor. The dough was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Highly recommended!
18/01/2026: My evening couldn't have gotten any worse, but then that delicious (but too oily) pizza arrived. 4 stars because the bathroom was in horrible condition.

01/04/2026: A welcoming, tidy place, I recommend it if you're a pescetarian, like me. The price/quality ratio is well-balanced. There's so much variety on the menu for different dietary needs (vegetarian, pescetarian, omnivores, etc.), and even though I made a reservation, the wait wasn't long (12 minutes).
30/03/2026: There were 4 of us. We ordered 2 starters, 1 grilled meat, half a grilled fish, 2 grilled sea breams, but they brought us half a sea bream for one, grilled vegetables for 2, and potatoes. The vegetables weren't fresh, a bit runny. The thing that bothered me was that we arrived at 8:00 pm and at 8:45 pm the waiters were circling us to ask us to leave since the place had emptied of other customers. The prices weren't very cheap for what we ate. 35 euros per person.

A hot chocolate with soy milk and a hot tea = 9 euros.
Too bad, it used to be a nice place, with excellent artisanal gelato and normal, or even acceptable, prices for a lakefront location in an area with little to offer.
Now the quality has halved and the prices have doubled.
You won't be invited back this way.
31/10/2025: It was a late autumn visit on a day when the outdoor seating wasn't available (and therefore not open to review). The interior, however, is rather anonymous, and the prices tend to be excessive. Perhaps the most successful thing so far is the restaurant's name.
