14/03/2025: Nos alojamos en Varenna y decidimos comer aquí para el almuerzo, con muy poco tiempo de antelación. Mientras que era tarde en el servicio de almuerzo, estaban felices de acomodarnos. El servicio era genial, las vistas fantásticas y la comida aún mejor. Los ñoquis fueron los mejores que había probado. Vale la pena visitarlo.

23/10/2024: L'endroit est tout simplement magnifique, un petit hôtel dans le centre de l'un des plus beaux et romantiques villages du lac de Côme, et en bord de mer, avec deux terrasses reliées par un petit chemin, d'où la vue sur Bellaggio et les deux bras du lac est vraiment époustouflante. Le niveau de service est quasiment celui d'un palace mais les prix très contenus pour la qualité des plats servis, je dirais donc certainement le meilleur rapport qualité prix de Varenna. Loin de la succession de terrasses bondées qui font face au petit port, on passe un moment hors du temps.

11/05/2025: We were in this place for the first time for lunch on a Sunday. We were immediately welcomed with a positive reception, both for the order and for the service. An endless wait without talking to clear the table. We simply felt abandoned to ourselves, so the service was rather disappointing.....

11/05/2025: An hour and a half of waiting and we still haven't received a single dish; the order was requested after an hour.....

28/04/2025: For a 1 star hotel you really get a great hotel. The dinner was also great, the staff, typically Italian, extremely friendly.

10/05/2025: EXCELLENT ! The Google maps address is correct but you have to park in the village and walk 15-20 minutes in the forest, simple and well signposted route, a little uphill but we met a lot of people, also a lot of families with strollers The food was excellent! The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The chef also comes to see you. It’s a warm, family setting. We feel that we have produced locally and are homemade. If you want something authentic and far from the tourist traps, it’s ideal. On top of that, the landscapes are magnificent!

22/04/2025: Easter Monday lunch really super plentiful and high quality, friendly waiters, quick and honest prices! We will certainly be back!

30/03/2025: If I could I would leave even less than one star. We found 3 hairs in different dishes and they made excuses, really disappointed by the treatment. We were not even given a small discount to apologize for what happened. We left half of the dishes because of the hairs found

02/05/2025: It's amazing that literally 50 meters next to the main, crowded street full of commercial pubs, there is such a GEM!!! The food was delicious, the service was lovely and friendly! The pizza with speck is delicious, and the gniochetti with meat and wild boar sauce is absolutely amazing! And also peace and quiet, no crowds, intimate atmosphere... WONDERFUL place! Come by, but not all at once so as not to spoil the atmosphere 😁

13/04/2025: Santa Lucia a guarantee, Andrea always super kind and professional, quality ingredients, perfect Milanese style pizza, top appetizers but the rest is also excellent, not to mention the chocolate cake with the truly perfect warm centre.

03/05/2025: It's a place with great potential and the owners also have lots of ideas to make the most of it. Furthermore, since the waiter Andrea arrived, the service has definitely improved (until two years ago, if I had to give a rating to the service I would have given a maximum of two stars)

14/05/2025: Good place, good pizza, the fish a little less according to those who ordered it (I didn't order it). The meringue dessert is delicious. Ps: they don't know what panachet is but never mind! Just order classic drinks 😉

23/03/2025: Simple clean and tidy place. Welcoming and kind staff. We ate a pizza with a very thin dough and generous quantities of ingredients. Really good! I'll be back!

15/04/2025: Nice place. We went here for the first time today, passing through. The environment is welcoming, clean, bright and the staff is quick and attentive. Discreet variety of products. Extra table service on the receipt (€0.20 per person), the stupid thing is that if by chance after you ordered cappuccino and croissant, you order anything, they recalculate the table service by €0.20. Absurd... The motorcycle driver at the checkout is nice and kind, much less the lady. One step and off you go!

11/05/2025: The best piadina shop in Lecco without a doubt! Excellent dough, well filled, excellent value for money. The environment is small but very welcoming and the service is quick but attentive. For me the best piadina I've ever tried

29/03/2025: We stayed with some friends during the week of the nameless festival, we were in a structure adjacent to the hotel and we had a great time! Friendly and helpful staff, wonderful breakfast! If I can, I will definitely come back!

19/01/2025: In a romantic scenery, Hotel San Gerolamo offers a warm place for a lovely weekend with a view to the lake. A clean room, a delicious breakfast and the happy owners made our stay a wonderful memory.

24/01/2025: Cogimos el ferry de Argegno a Varenna, que es bastante barato. Definitivamente necesito buenos zapatos para caminar como un montón de caminos irregulares. Solo un paisaje muy hermoso y tantos lugares agradables para almorzar. Pasamos 4-5 horas explorando. No te decepcionará Varenna.

05/04/2025: Fantastic aperitif: draught Leffe Rouge beer, piping hot esoteric mini pizzas, delicious peanuts, chips, breathtaking lake view with Grignetta and Grigna mountains, fast and friendly service—what more could you ask for? After five years away, they've only gotten better. Thank you so much, strongly suggested!
