04/04/2026: A beautiful place in any season, good pizza. But the restaurant food is equally as good.

11/03/2026: The pizza isn't bad, except on a couple of occasions when the shrimp weren't fresh. The service, unfortunately, leaves much to be desired! On several occasions, they've forgotten to make a pizza, not to mention getting the ingredients wrong. They don't care whether everyone at the table has been served; if you don't get up to prompt them, they won't notice. For business lunches, they need to be quicker, more efficient, and (possibly) more friendly. Customer service is completely lacking, and if they make a mistake, they don't make amends when it comes to the bill. I've already given them too many chances.

30/03/2026: Second night in a row. Their pizza is absolutely delicious and the portion is huge. Pasta was so nice i had to have some, sea food pasta had so much seafood. Excellent value for money. Serves are so welcoming, warm and friendly. For the second day forgot to take a picture before we start.

14/03/2026: So-so pizza, poor service, terrible atmosphere, not to mention the freezing cold draft that left us eating in the cold all evening. The bill was confusing, with things being charged without warning (like a double cover charge for me and my imaginary friend, I assume) that were only discovered after payment.

23/03/2026: A historic restaurant in Oggiono, the quality of the ingredients is very high, as is the craftsmanship and service. Superlative meats. Service is discreet, if a bit slow. The atmosphere is very rustic, clean, but a bit dark. The price is reasonable for the quality of the products. Highly recommended.

07/11/2025: Stopped in for a classic breakfast on a friend's recommendation. Excellent cappuccino, good selection of pastries and cakes, but I expected more from my brioche. Still, it was good.

04/12/2025: For her birthday, my wife decided to stay a night at Maso Zambo. We'd already tried last year, but there was no room. We started with the spa, reserved for the two of us, with a Finnish sauna alternating with an outdoor walk barefoot in the snow. This was followed by a fantastic dinner, of which I vividly remember the taste of the salmon trout eggs cracking in my mouth. Finally, in the morning, after a delicious breakfast, we had a restorative massage. We were pampered during these 24 hours of pure well-being. Finally, Stefano took us out of the fairytale by taking us back to our car at the top of the road, and we were enchanted!

02/11/2025: As per the property's slogan, keep it a secret! Maso Zambo is a hidden gem in Valsassina, a small property with meticulous attention to detail, where everything is genuine and authentic, starting with Stefano, the owner. There are only two simple rooms, each with a very comfortable bed and a beautiful view of the hills. Dinner is tasty, intimate, and features produce from the garden. Breakfast is simple and healthy, perhaps one of the aspects the Maso could improve. The highlight is undoubtedly the spa, which Stefano is an expert on. A clean, relaxing environment, with a splendid sauna and hot/cold showers. Massages and scrubs can also be added. The price is certainly high, but I find it in line with the offerings. If you're looking for peace and relaxation, Maso Zambo is for you.

04/11/2025: I'm sorry for this review, I just hope it's thought-provoking! We booked for a business lunch, but full of expectations we ordered à la carte, well as an entree we got a chickpea hummus, I was already a little disappointed..., then I ordered a single dish of ossobuco and sautéed rice with the cooking sauce but the meat was tough and the rice quite mushy, I was expecting the classic ossobuco with saffron rice, my sister ordered sea bream and my mother another fish-based dish. The plating doesn't matter, but it lacked substance and flavor, with three glasses of white wine total €106.00! I'm local and honestly I'm not encouraged to return again. Sorry.

26/06/2025: Después de pasar el día en las rutas de senderismo por encima de Lecco y un buen tratamiento SPA, decidimos cenar en el restaurante Griso Panorama. El clima se puso muy ventoso y nuestra caminata fue como una lucha con el viento. Pero la cena fue realmente deliciosa. Nos sirvieron rápido. La camarera ayudó a entender lo ofrecido en el menú. ¡Y no nos arrepentimos de nuestra velada allí! La comida era sabrosa desde aperitivos hasta desiertos.

22/12/2025: We were there on the evening of 12/19/2025 for a company dinner. The restaurant was welcoming, with a large car park and a very scenic garden. The interior was warm and well-kept, featuring stone, wood and fantastic glass windows. We ate well, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. They even made my request for pineapple madness for dessert... fantastic!

09/11/2025: We had lunch with friends in this welcoming restaurant, the atmosphere is really special (as is the view) and the food was delicious.

30/10/2025: This is my second time back in a couple of years, and honestly, this time I wasn't very happy. The food isn't anything special, but the meat, both the ribs and the stew, was very tough. The prices are good, the location is nice, and the service is good. But if I go out to eat, good food would be equally important!

13/01/2026: I have fond memories of pleasant times when I was just starting to live, after decades of sacrifice. It's a romantic place, especially in the evening. Thanks to the people who took me there, they were just friends.

20/01/2026: The rating I see is incomprehensible. Based on what I chose and ate, I can't give it a passing grade. The feeling I got when I ate the pizza slice was that it was a thawed, baked product, a product that wasn't even cooked through. I also wonder, why does a restaurant run by Asian staff (Indians/Pakistanis?) have to offer Italian/Mexican cuisine? Wouldn't it be much better if they served their typical cuisine? I bet the quality would be higher and the clientele larger. Hmm...
