I never advise you, however, there is another pizzeria nearby called Coppola, it's small but it makes really good Neapolitan pizza 🙏

19/07/2024: Comfortable environment, friendly staff and tasty food. We had pizzas and cutlets and chips and it was all very good. If you want to have a lunch or dinner in a quiet place, this is the ideal place!

Pizza buona, ambiente tranquillo, proprietari cortesi e servizio rapido (nonostante ci avessero comunicato che avremmo dovuto aspettare, il tempo di circa 30 minuti è risultato adeguato e minore del previstp).

We were satisfied with the service, we hadn't even finished eating (honestly we would have liked to stay there to chat and certainly to order something else) but the owner despite the low temperatures at the moment (it's 12 degrees) had the brilliant idea of ​​starting to pass the mop and open the front door and freezing the place, I kindly told the owner clearly that we are cold but she undaunted continued to say that she had to clean and had to open otherwise the place would have taken on a bad smell ... Moral of the story I paid, we looked at each other with my friend and disheartened we left .... As we were about to leave the owner still with the door wide open told us that if we wanted we could stay but since it was now colder inside the place than outside .... Even NO ....

07/01/2025: Il Locale è una tipica trattoria (fuori come dentro) con due sale interne (separate), un lungo bancone e tavolini all’aperto nella bella stagione. La scelta e abbastanza turistico ma con buona proposta di piatti sia locali (pizzoccheri, gnocchetti di Chiavenna) che cucina classica italiana (spaghetti alle cozze, grigliata di pesce, lasagne) e inoltre offre una vasta scelta di pizze. La gestione e familiare e il personale molto cortese. Apprezzato dai turisti il fatto che parte del personale parla inglese, tedesco, spagnolo e francese ed è frequentato anche dai locali a conferma della qualità del cibo. Prezzi in linea, tenendo conto che siamo sul lago di Como. Consigliato.

07/04/2025: They treated us wonderfully, the girl who served us was lovely, we arrived at three in the afternoon since we had noted that they were closing late and we ordered two pasta dishes so large that we had a hard time finishing them and they were served with a delicious foccacia, everything was delicious and the seafood pasta was delicious. 06/04/2025: Accoglienza scortese della titolare, attesa di una pizza con locale praticamente vuoto per più di un’ora, pasta al sugo di pomodoro per i bambini arrivata dopo le pizze, scotta e insapore. Non ci ritornerò più e sconsiglio a chiunque di andarci, delusissima!!!!

The service was a little inattentive, we would have preferred the wine list to be on paper and not just told by the staff, the dishes arrived at different times but for everything else we were fine!

02/09/2024: The experience at this restaurant was excellent!!! We went for a Aperitivo and ended up staying for a delicious cheese platter! The staff was soo nice and helpful giving us recommendations of restaurants to avoid and local places nearby that give a local vibes experience! I am so glad we stopped here for a drink and left very happy with our time there. You need to check this place out the next time you are in Menaggio

02/11/2024: Buongiorno prima volta in questa località. Consiglio vivamente più chiarezza al momento della prenotazione e far sapere ai clienti che il modo per arrivare al rifugio è veramente faticoso con strade sterrate e salite ripide anche perché nel sito non viene specificato, poi sarà il cliente a scegliere se arrivarci o no. Noi non ci siamo mai arrivati al rifugio con due passeggini pesanti... Al momento della prenotazione non ci è stato neanche specificato del servizio navetta che abbiamo scoperto all'arrivo, ma quando ho chiesto, dopo molti tentativi telefonici, ci è stato riferito che era riservato solamente agli anziani e disabili. E per chi non è abituato o non ha mai affrontato queste condizioni? Se ci fosse stata più carezza non avremmo neanche fatto tanta strada per poi ritornare indietro anche perché al momento della prenotazione avevo specificato di avere due passeggini. Tra l'altro abbiamo fatto più di 15 min di retromarcia per trovare posto con la macchina. Esperienza da dimenticare... Secondo un mio parere da cliente bisogna essere più organizzati... Peccato perché dalle foto la veduta era meravigliosa e anche il cibo... Credo!
