07/05/2025: Location rustica ma molto familiare Proprietari affabili, gentili e corretti risotto ai porcini "spaziale" come le pappardelle fatte in casa al ragu' di cinghiale il pesce, poi, sempre fresco e cucinato in modo ottimale complimenti a tutti voi

22/03/2025: Purtroppo nonostante la cucina sia di buon livello, il servizio non è stato per nulla soddisfacente, dopo un ora la focaccia con lardo e la tagliata per mio figlio non erano stati ancora serviti, chiedendo spiegazioni ci hanno semplicemente detto che il locale era pieno e serviva tempo. Gnocchi con panna e prosciutto d'oca buoni ma del prosciutto nemmeno traccia. Nonostante il disagio manifestato con gentilezza nemmeno un euro di sconto per il disagio. Con grande rammarico posso affermare che non tornerò più.

01/05/2025: In queste giornate festive ,quando il Lago di Como pullula di turisti a piedi,in macchina,in bus e battelli , un posto tranquillo a quasi 400 metri di altitudine facilmente raggiungibile in pochi minuti ,permette,come ogni tanto facciamo, di passare un paio di ore in tutta tranquillità,all'ombra di folti alberi che riparano dal sole.E quindi cosa meglio di una polenta taragna con uno stufato di cervo ed un buon nebbiolo della Valtellina? Servizio cordiale,cortese,non frettoloso.Prezzi abbordabili e lontani dai prezzi esasperati e spesso non giustificabili praticati da molti esercizi sul lago.

07/06/2025: We were pleasantly surprised. The pizza was very crispy, perfectly cooked, and well-topped. The service was more than attentive. We were there with a baby, and we were offered a high chair several times and also explained that there was a changing facility in the bathroom.

01/06/2025: We took the lunch menu, 25 euros. Had to wait a long time for apeltizers, but each got a plate with a lot of different charcuterie, then a starter and a main course, we were full. Food was tasty, only the waiting time comment about

21/05/2025: There are times when the location matters almost as much as what you drink or eat. And this is the case here. The establishment is magnificently located in front of a grove of trees with tables—all occupied—plus a terrace and, of course, an indoor dining room. We sat on the terrace enjoying the magnificent views and ordered some food, which was just average, and some magnificent ice cream sundaes that were very good. But enjoying the views and the people strolling by gave us a plus.

21/05/2025: Overpriced place, the staff look confident and proud of them but they are slow af and completely lost. They owe their success solely to the sight of the lake.

21/05/2025: If it weren't for the fact that they don't understand shit, it would be a nice place. You ask for something and they give you something else, sometimes even the opposite, once I asked for a non-spicy kebab and they gave me extra spicy. If they buy a hearing aid maybe I'll add a star. How are they still open if they don't give you what you ask for?

18/05/2025: Absolutely appalling experience. I came in hoping to get a table for myself and my parents, but the older woman with curly ginger hair was so shockingly rude that I walked straight out. She spoke to me like she was doing me a favour just by acknowledging me — cold, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Her attitude was downright nasty, and it was clear she has absolutely no idea how to treat customers or run a business. I refused to give them my money after that. Avoid this place — no one deserves to be spoken to like that.

07/01/2025: Il Locale è una tipica trattoria (fuori come dentro) con due sale interne (separate), un lungo bancone e tavolini all’aperto nella bella stagione. La scelta e abbastanza turistico ma con buona proposta di piatti sia locali (pizzoccheri, gnocchetti di Chiavenna) che cucina classica italiana (spaghetti alle cozze, grigliata di pesce, lasagne) e inoltre offre una vasta scelta di pizze. La gestione e familiare e il personale molto cortese. Apprezzato dai turisti il fatto che parte del personale parla inglese, tedesco, spagnolo e francese ed è frequentato anche dai locali a conferma della qualità del cibo. Prezzi in linea, tenendo conto che siamo sul lago di Como. Consigliato.

28/09/2024: Premetto che questa mia recensione si riferisce alla mia (ultima) esperienza in questa pizzeria datata 27/07/2024. Parlando della qualità della pizza: decisamente più bassa rispetto alle altre volte che l'avevo presa, in quanto è venuta bruciata in vari punti, troppo croccante e con poco condimento, dunque bocciata rispetto al passato (perché ERO cliente fisso, una volta ogni 7/10 gg). E già questo, basterebbe per giustificare 1 stella. Ma il motivo di questa mia recensione è un altro, perché può capitare a chiunque di sbagliare una volta una pizza. Ebbene, la 4 formaggi bianca in questa pizzeria costa 8.50€, avendola già presa più volte come detto nelle settimane e mesi precedenti. Quel fatidico 27/07/2024 arrivo alle 19 circa (apertura pizzeria, quindi ero solo io) per prendermela da asporto e mangiarla a casa. Nel frattempo pago, e fornisco in CONTANTI 15 euro (una banconota da 10 e una da 5) al proprietario Sig. Arturo (il quale, a differenza delle altre volte, non dice neanche il prezzo da pagare), per pagare la mia pizza di 8.50. Errore mio, perché se una cosa costa 8.50, perché devo dare 15 euro (10+5)? Non bastava dare la banconota da 10? Ripeto, errore mio, ero sovrappensiero e stanco perché avevo avuto una giornata lavorativa di quasi 11 ore. Detto questo, il sig. Arturo mi dà come resto 2.50 euro a moneta (quindi ho pagato la pizza 12.50). Lì per lì penso che nel giro di 10 giorni la pizza è aumentata di 4 euro (da 8.50 a 12.50), molto strano direi. Comunque, prendo la pizza (brutta e non venuta bene) e la mangio a casa. Un'oretta dopo circa, per curiosità, vado a vedere lo scontrino, e vedo che è riportato che la pizza è stata pagata 8.50, e non effettivamente 12.50 (15 da me forniti a cui vanno sottratti i 2.50 di resto che mi ha dato). Al che mi arrabbio, e molto. In un primo momento penso, per giustificare Arturo, che non ha visto la banconota da 5 che gli ho dato (comunque impossibile, perché quando era alla casa e gli ho dato le due banconote, le ha riposte entrambe ed ha esitato un attimo nello scegliere il resto da darmi, come sorpreso dalla mia mossa) e che mi ha dato il resto come se io gli avessi fornito solo 10 euro. In realtà, anche questa mia ipotesi è falsa, perché allora avrebbe dovuto darmi 1.50 euro di resto, e non 2.50, come invece ha fatto. Ciò significa che è stato tutto volontario e studiato. Ecco quindi configurata la "furbata" (per non adoperare altri termini molto più pesanti ma adatti). Ma non è finita qui. Perché in fondo allo scontrino è riportato "pagamento mediante bancomat". Ecco, come già ho detto sopra, il tutto è invece avvenuto con pagamento tramite contanti. Ancora a testimonianza della volontarietà e coscienza della furbata che il sig. Arturo ha fatto nei miei confronti. Il tutto, specifichiamo, per guadagnare 4 euro in più su una 4 formaggi bianca di un cliente. 4 euro. Una pizzeria storica e rinomata di Como. Mi sembra quantomeno assurdo ed inspiegabile, sempre per non adoperare altri termini. Io poi non sono ritornato a chiedere spiegazioni al sig. Arturo, scontrino alla mano, inerenti il pagamento della pizza, sia perche un'ora dopo, secondo me, non avrebbe avuto senso, sia perché per 4 euro non vado fallito (invece a qualcuno sembra che facciano più che comodo....). In conclusione, è ovvio che non tornerò mai più in questa pizzeria, sia per la storia assurda che ho appena raccontato, sia perché comunque al di là di tutto, la qualità pizza le ultime volte era veramente calata. Il sig. Arturo ha guadagnato 4 euro in più una volta, ma ha perso un cliente fisso (sono sicuro che non ci dormirà la notte sul fatto di aver perso un cliente come me), il quale diffonderà questa storia in giro e metterà una cattivissima parola sulla pizzeria e sulla persona.

18/05/2025: What a beautiful experience in this very original and particular naive restaurant, starting from the environment that is a feast for the eyes with the tropical chic but refined style furniture and then the truly excellent cocktails prepared by Max the owner that open the way to the appetizers and lunch The platter of cold cuts and cheeses a real delicacy all flavored with spices and aromas and purchased directly from niche producers Famous for the Florentine steaks and the first courses all of excellent quality I visited a fantastic suite where you can stay overnight with all the comforts and a film set decor If you want an original experience you have to come by here And Max is truly a great character that you would listen to for hours A warm greeting to his dear mother and his partner who kept us company chatting

07/03/2025: Order on Just it, arrived 20 minutes earlier than expected and the guys were super nice, they even gave us a free pizza because they were closing and didn't want to throw it away, a gesture that was super appreciated given the amount of food that is thrown away nowadays, I would give 10 stars just for the importance that these guys give to food.

19/05/2025: The food and the waiter service were good. Unfortunately, the experience was compromised when it came to paying: there were six of us and we simply wanted to split the bill equally and pay each with our own card. Not only were we not given this option, but the manager was extremely arrogant and rude. A real shame, because the quality of the restaurant deserved much more professional management.

13/04/2025: My booking was cancelled just a couple of days before arrival. I had paid in full. Really messed up my travel plans. And then I saw the hotel is shut down. I hope I get my money back.

03/06/2025: Total disappointment for a night to forget – 2 stars We stayed only one night in this property, spending €324 for a double room. Unfortunately, the amount paid is not even remotely justified by the quality of the service offered. The main problem was the centralized air conditioning: to activate it you had to contact the reception, but once it was on it was impossible to regulate it. The vents were blocked at the maximum, without any possibility of directing or modulating the air flow. In practice, you could only choose between an unbearable cold or a muggy heat. We reported the inconvenience to the staff, but nothing was done to resolve the situation. The result? A sleepless night. In the morning, breakfast added a further bitter touch to the experience: poor, poorly cared for, far from the standards that you would expect from a property of this level and in such a renowned location. Considering the high price and the exclusive area in which it is located, we expected a much more attentive service and up to expectations. Unfortunately, this was not the case.
