24/04/2025: Very quiet evening. Restaurant, unfortunately for them, completely empty due to a particularly intense storm in the area. However, the absence of other customers generated a moment of great intimacy with my guest and the excellent food did the rest.

Classic method and vintage Proseccos... But dark chocolate is a true delight for connoisseurs.... Also in the Orange version... Well done Monica, welcoming and meditative environment.... Top of the range in the upper valley

25/04/2025: Great little place to visit. Excellent service, food and drink. Go on give it a try you won't be disappointed. Only downside it closes at 7pm.

20/05/2025: Maybe yes, maybe no... the food is good but many things make you turn up your nose, waiters in disarray, they got the children's dishes wrong by getting the wrong table and bringing the cutlets almost 2 hours later (and after multiple requests), they exchanged some dishes from another table, they left an extra dish that wasn't ours and marked it, so then I was even asked to pay for it! The place could be fantastic BUT, it is completely left to itself, just look at what should be a walk in the pond with a nice gazebo/pergola... and instead you find something without sense, all rotten or broken and without a minimum of decorum. In short, it has a lot of potential but it is just not exploited. Very negative note: the menu included 1/4 of wine per person, a bit little, but we were asked for a surcharge for half a liter of wine more on a menu of €45 for more than 10 people, the cake obviously (made by the restaurant) did not even include a bottle of sparkling wine and obviously no one warned us that it was not included and obviously no one asked if we wanted it. Too many "problems" to come back again...

20/04/2025: Pranzo in un giorno di festa purtroppo non all’altezza delle aspettative. Forse per il pienone del locale che ha portato ad un’attesa media di 45’-50’ minuti prima della prima portata e tra un piatto e l’altro. Qualità del cibo nella media ma esecuzione proprio non ci siamo. Riso slegato, carne cruda nel secondo piatto e porzioni da rivedere. Peccato perché la location molto carina e immersa nel verde. Personale disponibile ma chiaramente in sovraccarico per l’eccessivo numero di persone da seguire in sala.

03/06/2025: I rarely post negative reviews, but this time I have to. This place is definitely not worth the price! The chicken breast was raw. The potatoes were fatty and disgusting. The peaches weren't tasty either. I would not recommend it at all.

15/05/2025: Indirizzo consigliato dal concierge del nostro hotel, Villa d’Este. Accoglienza condiscendente, con un tocco di disprezzo, nel tentativo maldestro di imitare l’atmosfera di un “grande ristorante” trendy. Evidentemente non eravamo tra i loro clienti preferiti, e ce l’hanno fatto sentire. Avrei forse dovuto dire il prezzo della nostra camera (2.400 € a notte)… magari ci avrebbero trattati con più rispetto. Cucina comunque discreta

18/05/2025: found by chance and in a hurry it turned out to be a real surprise, very large room, balcony with a view, large bathroom, very bright and clean room, comfortable beds, parking under the hotel, shame I couldn't try either the breakfast or the restaurant but I had other commitments

11/05/2025: Based on the photos, it can be concluded that each room has a balcony, which was important to me. We specifically booked a 3-person room and we were two because of the balcony with a view of the lake. After checking in and receiving the room key, we were surprised that there was no balcony, so we went back to the reception to say that it was probably a mistake, and the lady told us that to get a room with a balcony, we should call in advance and say that we wanted a balcony because there are no rooms with a balcony at the boking. I was surprised because it was in the photos (at least you could conclude that it was in the photos). Finally, seeing our dissatisfaction, the lady offered us a room with a balcony for which we had to pay 20 euros extra. Please pay attention because you may be unpleasantly surprised when you get there. The rest is acceptable.

16/02/2025: Ho messo una stella perché non si può mettere di meno per scrivere la recensione! Ci siamo fermati a pranzo e il fatto che il locale fosse deserto già ci aveva fatto insospettire. Il menù però sembrava invitante e comunque ormai avevamo chiesto la disponibilità di un tavolo: ordiniamo una porzione di spaghetti con le vongole (completamente privi di sale e totalmente insapori, tanto che per poterli mangiare abbiamo dovuto condirli con sale pepe e olio al peperoncino) da 13 euro, una porzione di fritto misto da 15 euro, una di patatine, un tè freddo e un caffè. Totale: 52 euro!!! Ho chiesto spiegazioni e mi e stato fatto un riepilogo velocissimo - da cui ho capito che la bottiglietta di tè freddo da 500 ml costa 4 euro! - dopo il quale mi è stato buttato sul bancone un foglietto scritto a mano con l'ordinazione ma non i prezzi. Oltretutto per mangiare in un posto vetusto, freddissimo e maleodorante. Da starci alla larga! Peccato perché da fuori sembrava una vecchia trattoria di campagna. Non avevo voglia di discutere, quindi ho pagato e ce ne siamo andati ma ovviamente l'ho segnato nella lista nera

08/02/2025: A place that I thought was Italian, but instead there are foreign girls cooking, never mind that practically the prices are skyrocketing, I ate the carbonara, it was disgusting, I also ate the pizza with all the ash underneath but a lot of it though, and lastly the Florentine tart which still makes me vomit and they only made me pay 45 euros for a pinch of raw meat, given that even if I'm dead I won't come back and many who have eaten here know that everything is disgusting with no flavor or salt at all 600 ounces of meat for lunch 45 euros but not even what I earn in a day and yet to vomit still frozen inside
