27/10/2024: Located on a nice side street. with a wonderful lake view - from the terrace. The terrace is protected from the weather, so it is also open in October. The restaurant is simple but good. It offers a really good 2-course lunch with water and café for €13. The owner is grumpy, but usually stands at the stove, which is a good thing. He can cook. The pizza is also delicious. The service is provided with commitment by very friendly employees with a migration background. Tables and rooms and of course the terrace are clean. Maybe the boss only looks at me grumpily because I judge him ungraciously when he sits down at the next table with his cigarette. I've been going to lunch for years because it's good and filling. You have to look for parking spaces along the street. A little difficult in high season but possible. What's great about the location is that the museum "Museo della Barca Lariana" is right next to it. Stunning!! Completely inconspicuous from the outside, one surprise after another inside. Even the only Porsche boat engine can be seen (1964?). The Spinacker restaurant and the museum are closed in the winter months even though they have nothing to do with each other.

29/03/2025: An address we like, a typical restaurant, impeccable service. Ideal setting. The dish of the day, namely, seafood pasta, was a delight. This is an address that we highly recommend, we will come back.

23/11/2024: Posta scotta Piatto alla siciliana servita con prezzemolo,invece che basilico. Spaghetti alle sarde; un piatto al dente, uno scotto. Troppo caro per quanto offre.

31/03/2025: To flee! What a disappointment! The reputation of this restaurant is incomprehensible. The tiny plates are not even good, at an exorbitant price that nothing, really nothing justifies. We can't see what's on the plate, not even a tablecloth on the tables, for a ticket of 80€ per person...a stage show, window dressing, not to mention a scam...

06/01/2025: The Metropole enjoys a very exclusive location directly on the lake. There's no more beautiful place than sipping a red wine on a lakeside balcony and enjoying the magnificent view. The rooms are small and were only partially renovated. A general renovation is currently underway, and we're excited to see the results. The restaurant was never worth mentioning. We rarely had breakfast there. Here, we hope for a more beautiful interior and, above all, a more appropriate dining concept... Current opening year: 2026...

10/01/2025: My sister and I loved staying here while visiting Lake Como. A wonderful location with an exceptional view. The staff was very helpful with recommendations for going out to eat, as well as getting around to the other towns on Lake Como. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection and a wonderful view! Free parking and a lovely balcony view! The room was a little the smaller side but still very comfortable.

12/03/2025: The best pizza there is. The General has now become our must at least once a week. Pizzas of all types and more. Soft and with ingredients that are not missing. Fresh and quality ingredients. Try it to believe it.

28/10/2024: Vino a almorzar basado en las críticas. La comida era bastante buena, pero el servicio era horrible - estábamos tan apresurados que o querían volver a dejar la mesa o querían despejar el restaurante lo antes posible! Pedimos un aperitivo y luego pedimos nuestra comida y vino. El entrante llegó sin apenas arrancar nuestro aperitivo. El vino llegó a mitad de nuestro entrante antes de que hubiéramos terminado nuestro aperitivo. Y, tan pronto como mi esposa había colocado la última boca llena de su entrante en su boca, su plato fue batido y nuestra red se colocó frente a nosotros! ¡Ni siquiera había terminado de masticar la última boca llena de su entrante! Aunque la comida era razonablemente buena, toda la experiencia fue una que no nos gustaría repetir.

09/10/2024: Sehr schöne Location am See mit hervorragendem Essen. Verschiedene Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte probiert, alles sehr empfehlenswert! Der Chef und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend.

18/03/2025: Beautiful restaurant with classic elegance accessible from the piazza or the main road. Fantastic maitre d' and server with delicious food from start to end. Had smoked salmon with buffalo cheese and pappardelle al ragu and the torteli saraceni and the gamberoni el pompelmo... very delicious and excellently plated. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Locale apparentemente accogliente, camerieri gentili...ma poi ti rendi subito conto che sei uno dei 250 commensali ad attendere circa 2 ore per mangiare una pizza, un Ufo ....tra l'altro bruciato, immangiabile! Peccato...potenziale enorme, ma organizzazione carente e gestore davvero scortese che ignora l'esistenza di parole come educazione, cortesia, rispetto e professionalità nei confronti dei clienti. Bastava chiedere semplicemente scusa. Peccato...aver perso un sabato sera così. Arrivederci a mai più!

18/02/2025: Here time stopped in the 60s and it is beautiful. The cuisine is excellent, shanks with polenta such as are rarely found, old-fashioned friendliness and honesty in the price. Highly recommended.

11/11/2024: Fantastic as always. I have known him since the 80s and time here has not passed. I have always left satisfied with both the food, the wine and the price. Small environment with a sense of familiarity that hovers between the tables while the dishes are served with the friendliness, professionalism and attention to the customer from the former red miniskirt. 23/10/2024: We went for dinner at La Pergola for 2 nights out of the 4 that we stayed in Bellagio. We had the best service and dinner both times. The waiter was so friendly and welcoming and looked after us so well. The food was just wonderful too with a varied menu with lots to choose from. Their champagne is also delicious! Thank you to all and enjoy your well earned time off at the end of the season.
