31/10/2025: The only thing worthwhile is the view. The food was really bad, the staff unpleasant, and it was very expensive for what it was. Absolutely not suitable for children.

25/10/2025: This two-star hotel on Lake Como, more precisely on the Lecco branch, positions itself as a true gem of a location, and there's no denying that. Its success is undoubtedly linked to its location, which offers a direct view of the lake. The room my wife and I booked for three days in October, proudly labeled "Lake View" on their website, lived up to expectations regarding the view: a marvelous vista and a tranquility that, let's face it, is rare in certain corners of Bellagio overcrowded by tourists. However, the "Lake View" must have caused a perceptual distortion in the measurements: the website lists a generous 25 square meters, but, as an engineer, I can assure you that my room was no larger than 15 square meters. Perhaps the view was so expansive that it virtually "enlarged" the walls! Moving on to the amenities, the amenity kit was, so to speak, essential in its "sincere simplicity." A two-star hotel doesn't expect niche perfumery, but a bar of soap and three sachets of multipurpose product (shampoo/shower gel) constitute the quintessential basics. Breakfast followed the same trend: absolutely respectful of the minimum standards for the category, but the "local products" component was as subtle as the sachet of shower gel. Here, they celebrate the triumph of standardization, not zero-miles. Up until this point, we'd forgiven everything in the name of that magnificent view. But one evening, we dared to venture into the hotel restaurant for a single dish for each of us: a pikeperch and an octopus, both with potatoes. Unfortunately, it must have been a cosmic "off night" for the chef, because the pike I ate, despite being accompanied by a cherry tomato and, if my eyes aren't deceiving me, two capers, was undercooked and devoid of any discernible flavor. My wife had a similar opinion about the octopus. We swallowed the bitterness (or rather, the lack of flavor) of the fish, again for the love of the location. But the total price paid for three nights' room with breakfast and one dinner in low season (about €750) I believe, alas, is decidedly ambitious compared to the overall experience offered, even if the hotel were located on the most beautiful piece of land in the world. In this respect, I don't think they've adhered so closely to the acceptable standards for a two-star hotel. This feeling, unfortunately, was a recurring theme throughout our stay in Bellagio. We've noticed that the entire village seems to have oriented itself toward "very wealthy, careless, and undemanding" foreign tourists. All our meals in the area, in fact, shared the same sad fate: low quality, sky-high prices. I fervently hope that Bellagio's hoteliers and restaurateurs will soon realize they've turned their splendid village into a "movie set" where Italianness is delightfully, but falsely, portrayed, and that they will reconsider their choices. To conclude on a positive note: I thank the lake for its beauty and the hotel (intended as a property) for the tranquility it offers, two aspects that nevertheless gave me three peaceful days. The bill was just a little too high and the food was bland.

17/06/2025: Terrible... I don't recommend it. There are much more professional and welcoming places, not to mention the clientele they have... and they let them do whatever they want, shame on them! I strongly advise against it! 🤮

07/12/2025: Typical tourist place. Boring menu, nothing special or tasty. Fake nice waiters that you have to wait forever. Also, pointlessly expensive. Wouldn't recommend. Dissapointing
