21/02/2025: Deciso all'ultimo minuto di passare la notte a san Fedele Intelvi dopo il lavoro, partendo da Milano, abbiamo trovato in centro alle 20.30 solamente questo ristorante/pizzeria aperto... Abbiamo mangiato pesce e per essere in montagna, era buono

20/02/2025: The servers are very nice and the food is very good and generous.

22/10/2024: The structure is well looked after and maintained, something more could have been done. The rooms were very clean, as was the bathroom. Breakfast on the terrace, lake view, well supplied.

19/03/2025: An excellent discovery. A wonderful view over the entire branch of Lake Lecco. the dishes are excellent. We eat very well. Genuine dishes and very high quality food. I recommend the trout. The only flaw but like almost everywhere now is the cover price slightly above average (3.50 euros). For the rest completely promoted.

09/03/2025: A solemn slap in the face to those who put passion, dedication and experience into catering. Scandalous. At the entrance there was a smell of dampness and mould. Upon closer inspection, we noticed the mold present inside the room in various corners. Cobwebs and dust scattered everywhere. Tablecloths not entirely clean and wrinkled as well as some stained chair covers. Little attention was also paid to cleaning dishes and cutlery. the eye also fell on the PC keyboard at the checkout at the entrance, greasy and messy, and always on the bacon and the checkout table, with centimeters of dust and crumbs from various people. From the kitchen you could hear screams, people arguing violently and swearing. Several tables got scared... the waiter simply closed the door. We rushed to get away... In such a context, needless to say, we were unable to enjoy the meal. We took a plate each and then left in horror. Small portions. Risottos that arrive in 5 minutes and therefore clearly ready and also badly reheated. Not fresh food and not top quality products. Be careful when catching fish if you don't want to feel bad at night... The menu did not reflect the availability of the dishes. The thing that saddens me the most is the fact that such a view deserves different management. Really a shame....

20/03/2025: Tienen el mejor pan de apicot "nube". He vuelto aquí durante años y he empacado panes para llevar a casa y he llegado tan lejos como para enviármelo a mí mismo cuando visito ciudades cercanas. Obsesionado. Puedes llevarlos en el avión (son enormes) y congelarlos.

22/06/2024: Crazy prices. Kindness of the staff: zero. Practically this place now only has the name, because even the pizzas themselves aren't all that great. It's time to stop setting up premises in a city "with money", and then thinking that everything comes by itself, without instead paying the utmost attention to the customer and the product, attention which is always due and must never, ever decrease , never. P.S.: even taking a look at the owner's responses to the comments here that don't praise him, you can understand a lot... He replies to a disgruntled customer "Good, if you don't have the money, stay at home", incredible. It speaks for itself.

The location of the hotel is charming, the structure of the hotel is interesting, the food is very tasty, but without vegetables and almost no fruit. The only problem was the service, especially the men, who worked like a punishment

09/11/2024: Una Osteria típica que no te esperas en un pueblo tan alejado. Llegamos exhaustos tras una larga caminata de más de 2 horas, bajando del Monte Generoso (Suiza), al que habíamos llegado en tren de cremallera, por un sendero bien señalizado que pasa por encima de la aldea de Scudellate (Valle de Muggio). Ojo, solo se puede llegar a Erbonne a pie desde Scudellate. Llegamos sobre las dos y tuvimos que esperar incluso un poco hasta que nos prepararan una mesa para tres, porque estaban todas las mesas ocupadas. El interior del local es muy acogedor. La carta está escrita con tiza sobre una pizarra negra. Pedimos para compartir los tagliolinis con tartufo nero (pasta al huevo con trufa local). De segundo pedimos platos de carne (codillo y estofado de ternera) y pescado seco del lago de Como acompañados de polenta. También pedimos medio litro de vino tinto, muy rico y agua mineral. Todo nos salió por 90 Euro para tres personas, lo que me parece muy correcto, teniendo en cuenta la cantidad y calidad de la comida.

16/09/2024: Mi dispiace ma la nostra esperienza non è stata positiva. Prenotato per le 13 e arriviamo 5 minuti prima. Fino alle 13.30 non arriva nessuno e allora sollecito. Arriva la cameriera,molto gentile, che prende le ordinazioni. 1 antipasto,prosciutto crudo e fichi,1 primo e 1 secondo e il bere.L'antipasto arriva dopo circa un quarto d'ora ma ci sta,il locale sembra pieno. Alle 14.50 ,quindi dopo più di un'ora, ancora nessuna pietanza mentre gli altri commensali,anche quelli arrivati dopo di noi,ricevono i loro piatti. Decidiamo di pagare il conto e di andarcene. Sembravano addirittura offesi , ci dicono che la comanda si era persa ,riferiscono al proprietario che ci dice che ce la prepara al volo. Ormai c'era passata la fame complice un pò di nervosismo ma accettiamo controvoglia per non essere scortesi. Non prendiamo nient'altro. Ormai volevamo andare via. Entriamo a pagare,il proprietario ci offre una grappa,che non beviamo, e ci dice che comunque è anche colpa nostra perché avremmo dovuto andare in cucina a sollecitare e ci fa ben 1 euro di sconto.....ci aspettavamo delle scuse sincere,gli errori lavorando capitano, ma è l'atteggiamento un pò supponente che ci ha fatti rimanere male. Peccato,è un bel posticino. Un pò caro ma carino in un borgo da favola

02/04/2025: Stunning evening. Dined while staying at the Mandarin. Service was top notch! Everyone is so kind and attentive. The dishes were beautifully executed and were well balanced! Could not recommend this restaurant more!

22/02/2025: A memorable night here at the Mandarin Oriental in Lake Como. With a reservation, you park and get chauffeured to the restaurant in a cute buggie down the road. Before the meal, they invite you to enjoy the view and take pictures. Once you get to the restaurant, we were greeted by the host and taken to our table where we had incredible views of the lake. We decided to enjoy the 15-course tasting menu not including the massive dessert. The most delicious dishes were the lobster rigatoni, tiger prawn, and wagyu beef. All the dishes have impeccable ingredients so you can’t go wrong. We cannot wait to go back to this Michelin starred restaurant next time we’re in Lake Como.

29/10/2024: We stop for lunch, with the classic midday menu, I chose the pizza, €12 with the drink and coffee is fine, the quality of the pizza is medium low (unfortunately I drank all afternoon, a sign that the leavening wasn't top), the service a little slow, let's say good for lunch but not great.
