13/12/2025: Zero is not allowed. 12/12/2025 Booked and confirmed 2 weeks in advance, we arrive, door open, dark and cold, no one present. On the phone they deny the reservation, a terrible impression with the guests. There is a limit to everything, even decency. You are pitiful.

21/04/2026: A truly awful experience. I bought a kebab today, and while I was preparing it, I noticed something strange: the pizza chef never cut the meat directly from the skewer. That was quite suspicious. Upon my arrival, unfortunately, it was confirmed: the sandwich was completely cold, and the kebab meat was freezing, as if it had been prepared long before and simply reheated incorrectly (or not even that). The result? Inedible. After a few bites, I had to throw it away. I'm sorry to say this, but it was a truly awful experience. Quality and freshness should be the bare minimum, especially for a product like kebab. I won't be returning.

27/04/2026: We had an amazing experience here, the staff was incredible, the atmosphere was so welcoming, and the food was DELICIOUS. Would come again!

26/04/2026: An embarrassing experience, to say the least. The place couldn't handle 20 or so people without going haywire. The staff (mostly female) were unfriendly and arrogant. I ordered a calzone because they said it was the only food available (unfortunately, other tables who arrived well after us were served pizza without a problem). I had to wait 40 minutes, only to have it arrive, clearly microwaved. Terrible. Absolutely avoid.

12/10/2025: Opening hours not maintained on Google Maps. It was closed on a Saturday in mid-October.

26/02/2026: I stopped for lunch after a long time: at 1 PM, only 4 people were present. I found it strange. The pizza wasn't cooked in the large wood-fired oven in the dining room, but in the kitchen. Bottom line: inedible, cold in 2 minutes, mozzarella falling off the dough (like a frozen food). The waiter, who I think was the owner, had black hands like a car mechanic and slippers: FORGET IT!!!

19/04/2026: The owner is very rude, dressed as if he'd just finished painting the garage, and he treats everyone he meets badly. High prices on all products. Plastic chairs, and they charge €3 for two coffees at the counter. Not a professional, just a novice.

12/04/2026: Dropped by by chance... Nice place... I got a small cup of flavorless ice cream for €4. But the most unacceptable thing was a gin and tonic for €10, with no table service and not even two chips... outrageous prices. And not to mention the employees. No comment. Never again.

21/04/2026: I love coming here whenever I'm in the area. The staff is always kind, friendly, and smiling. It's the perfect place for a good coffee and also a great place to find vegan croissants—for those with allergies like myself, that's not a given—the mango and papaya one is excellent.

09/04/2026: Well...the chef who cooks is not to blame...but the one who pays him is to blame. But Christ, can't even a pseudo-pasta with zucchini and pancetta be able to sauté? Boiled zucchini and pancetta...flavorless...just the smell of unboiled meat. Change jobs, honey...change jobs

07/04/2026: I've never had such bad ice cream in Italy. The price has increased from €2.80 last year for a small cup of Copetta to the current €3.50. This price would be justified if the quality were good, which unfortunately it isn't. The ice cream tastes like absolutely nothing. I had the strawberry flavor, and it was completely watery and thin. I had to throw it away and won't be coming back.

29/03/2026: Terrible ice cream shop, two cones for €12, disgusting! Shame on you!! My girlfriend, a Knam member, says it's awful and gives it a 2 only because there are worse ice creams!!

07/02/2026: STAND AWAY !!! I showed up at this hotel for check-in a little before 2am on a Sunday in July 2024. There I was met with a closed gate with no way to get in for check-in. I have my own car and it is almost impossible to park in the narrow street by the hotel, but I was able to temporarily park in the driveway of a neighbor of the hotel. The hotel is located within a fenced area with a large metal gate and it cannot be opened from the outside and it is therefore not possible to enter either by car or on foot. There is no poster or other information at the gate on how to contact the hotel. The hotel looks completely uninhabited and the neighbor with whom I parked said that there were nonsensical and problematic conditions there. I then called the hotel manager on the number listed on Booking.com and was told that check-in had to be done in the city center at another hotel and that that was the only option I had. To get to this hotel you have to drive through impassable narrow streets with masses of tourists and I told the host that this was out of the question and that he had to show up at the hotel so that I could check in normally. Important: There is no place in the hotel information that it says that check-in should be several kilometers away from the hotel. He refused to come to the hotel to check in there and I therefore had to just leave and find another hotel. This matter is in my opinion completely incomprehensible. I have been on vacation in Europe now for almost four weeks but have never come close to this behavior from a hotel host. STEER AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL !!

02/05/2026: I'm celiac and ordered two gluten-free piadinas for myself and two regular ones for my brother via Deliveroo. One of the gluten-free ones had grilled chicken (which should be gluten-free unless otherwise specified). When my order arrived, I received a package with the regular ones and one with the gluten-free ones written on it. I opened the package and found a post-it note next to the one with the chicken that said, "Please note that our chicken contains gluten." Given this, I avoided eating it to avoid getting sick, but I also wasted money. I recommend that management specify which of your ingredients contain gluten at the time of ordering and not via a note, otherwise customers get ripped off on delivery. I don't know if I'll order delivery again.

11/04/2026: The toilet door was broken and disgusting. The pizza was very bad, maybe even frozen pizza quality. But it's a nice place for drinks. The waitress was very friendly! The service and atmosphere outside were great.

06/04/2026: We even couldn't order for about 10 minutes, waitress passed by hundreds time and she was so rude to ask any questions.. I can understand sometimes can be busier than usual but then they should hire more stuff to not make others rude to customers.. nothing serve there for free, at least they can smile and say we are busy but I'll come to you soon ot something.. we had to left after waiting long

17/04/2026: The setting is quite nice, despite the traffic just two meters from the tables on the terrace. The loud-talking Italian "mama" adds a touch of authenticity and makes the place feel almost traditional. The food, however, is unbelievable… I ate about fifteen defrosted gnocchi with barely 10 grams of Bolognese sauce (much worse than in the photo in the previous review). This kind of restaurant only survives on passing tourists, who, of course, never return. In short, a disaster.

06/04/2026: Very expensive, and the portions are very small. I can't recommend it. The salad was very poorly presented. I definitely won't be going back.

29/09/2025: Something has gotten out of hand... probably the large influx of tourists with deep pockets ascending to Brunate by funicular or taxi has meant that even these types of huts, considered rustic and the preserve of a few hikers until 15-20 years ago, are now enjoying a golden age, boasting menus priced like those of a downtown restaurant. Prices that would be partially justified if the refuge were located at 2,000 meters with no access road, but I repeat, "anything goes"... good for them while it lasts... :-)

27/07/2025: Shabby but charming with an absolutely ~spectacular~ view, and ok breakfast as well. For me the smell (especially in the toilettes) and the rats in the walls are the reasons we won’t be coming back.
