I visited this pastry shop for the first time this morning and was very impressed. I was in a hurry, so I only had a ginseng coffee, which I found to be very good. The counter was full of tempting pastries, and I'll definitely be back to try them more slowly. Plus, the shop overlooks the beautiful and iconic Piazzetta San Fedele, which makes the experience even more enjoyable!

We visited this pastry shop late one afternoon during the Christmas holidays. The staff and owner were friendly and helpful, both with adults and children, even though they were almost closing. A must-see if you're passing through Como.

The location is in the historic center, the products are excellent, and even though they were closing, they made us hot chocolate and an aperitif without any problems. What can I say... highly recommended, and we'll be back to visit Uncle Fre soon!

We stumbled upon this wonderful pastry shop by chance, where we were immediately greeted with immense warmth and friendliness. We bought a pastiera, and it was delicious; eating it felt like we were in Salerno. All the other desserts looked excellent, too. My compliments to everyone.

IL VECCHIO BORGO

23/11/2025: I stayed in room 106 for two nights. The hotel was excellent and clean, the room was clean, and the staff, Mahmoud (Egyptian) and Suzi (Tunisian), were friendly, courteous, and hospitable. The breakfast was wonderful. It's conveniently located near the city center, overlooks the lake, and is next to the metro and bus stations, and opposite a Carrefour supermarket.
