Bar umberto I Como In Como

I visited this place two weeks ago and was thrilled. We ordered four pizzas: Capricciosa, Napoletana, Quattro Formaggi, and Quattro Stagioni, and were pleasantly surprised by both the price and the taste, especially the Quattro Formaggi. The coffee also had an extraordinary aroma. ​If we ever visit Como again, we will definitely stop at this restaurant again; it perfectly complemented our experience of the city. The service was also very pleasant; the waitress who served us was smiling throughout our stay. ​The only downside was that we couldn't try the affogato because they had run out of gelato. :( ​I highly recommend this place!

We've been here three times for an aperitif. Service is good and prices are "reasonable" for Como. The food looks okay.

Wasn’t much open after our morning run and we just wanted a takeaway coffee. I had low expectations walking in but they delivered in spades. Thanks for the great start to the day.

A local café/bar/restaurant with an unbeatable lake view. Coffee, pizzas, and salads at excellent prices and quality, accompanied by the authentic exchange of conversations among locals. A semi-precious gem reserved only for those who aren't bothered by the discerning gaze of the regulars… ❤️
